A Cunning Pervert in the Cultivation World

Chapter 175: Heroic and Righteous

Chapter 175: Chapter 175: Heroic and Righteous

Inside the forest ,

A beautiful and graceful female disciple dressed in an aqua-green sect robe was running at full speed through the trees and bushes.

Her long black hair was tied into low twin-tails, secured with jade hairpins and thin ornament.

Some of her silky hair had already loosen free, flowing in the air behind her as she used her movement technique.

The wide sleeves of her robe flapped wildly as she leapt over roots and bushes,.

Her steps light yet filled with urgency as she gripped a sword tightly in her hand.

Whoosh-!

Whoosh-!

Leaves scattered under her feet along her path, and her breathing was already heavy from constant usage of her movement technique.

Behind her—

Boom!

The forest shook as something huge charged after her.

Huge tree can be seen snapped in half under the force of something as the sound of heavy footsteps drew closer with every second.

“RRRAAAHHH!”

A deep, beastly roar suddenly echoed through the woods, and seem to be filled with killing intent.

Hearing that roar, Ye Shuang didn’t turn back to look

Her robe, which concealed her youthful yet shapely figure, fluttered wildly as she pushed herself harder.

Spiritual energy surged through her legs as she desperately trying to widen the distance—

—but the crashing sounds behind her only grew closer.

Ye Shuang who felt that terrifying presence closing in and gritted her teeth.

“At this rate, I’ll be exhausted first… then I won’t be able to escape.” she murmured and feel a bit dispirited at her luck.

Ye Shuang was a outer disciple of the Waterflow Sect, one of the few who had been lucky enough to obtain a slot to enter this realm, thanks to her senior sister.

With her cultivation at the 8th Realm of Qi Refinement, she had thought it would be manageable, as long as she didn’t provoke a peak Rank-1 demonic beast.

But fate clearly had other plans.

As ever since she arrived, she had only been running into demonic beasts one after another, leaving her no time to properly explore the secret realm, let alone gain any opportunities.

And for the past few days, she had done nothing but fight or flee.

This caused her spiritual energy to steadily wear down, affecting her mind and body and preventing them from functioning properly.

What made things worse was that the number of demonic beasts suddenly increased sharply.

Many of them seemed to be fleeing from something, throwing the entire forest into chaos.

And now, as if to make thing worse for her—

She had encountered a peak Rank-1 demonic beast, one that was stubbornly fixated on chasing her down.

Boom!

Boom!

Heavy footsteps thundered behind her, accompanied by the sound of trees being knocked over.

At that sound, Ye Shuang clenched her sword tighter and suddenly changed direction, forcing her way into denser tree, hoping to throw that beast off.

Even as the thorny bushes scraped against her robe and skin, she ignored the stinging pain as she continue to pushed through.

Because she could only keep moving.

Stopping here meant death.

Before Ye Shuang could put more distance between them—

The pressure behind her suddenly exploded.

As the demonic beast suddenly accelerated.

Its speed surged unnaturally fast, far beyond what it had shown before.

The ground shattered under its hooves as a massive figure burst out of the trees.

Ye Shuang’s heart skipped.

’Too fast!’

She barely had time to turn when—

BANG!

A huge body slammed into her from behind.

The impact sent her delicate body flying.

Her grip on the sword loosened as her body spun through the air and blood bursting from her mouth.

“—Kuh !”

She then crashed heavily into a thick tree.

Bang!

Crack!

The trunk splintered under the impact.

Ye Shuang’s body rolled slowly down until she lay sprawled on the forest floor.

Pain erupted through her chest and back.

She coughed violently, as dark red blood staining the leaves beneath her.

“….*Cough* such power..”

Ye Shuang breathed roughly, blood flowing from her mouth as she struggled to lift her gaze and look ahead.

Only then did she see it clearly.

A massive demonic boar stood not far away, its body like a moving mound of muscle.

Its black bristles were as hard as steel needles, its tusks long and curved, stained with dirt and blood.

Right now, its red eyes locked onto her sprawl body without a shred of mercy.

Ye Shuang struggled to push herself up, her arms shaking.

Her ribs screamed in pain.

“…Is this the end…” she muttered weakly.

She didn’t know if she could stand—

Let alone run now.

Ye Shuang’s vision blurred as pain and fear wrapped around her like a suffocating pressure.

The demonic boar snorted, hot breath blasting out from it nostril as it prepared to charge again.

Seeing this, her legs trembled.

Every instinct screamed at her to get up, to run…but her body simply refused to obey.

Ye Shuang’s mind raced, desperate, trying to summon some hidden reserve of strength…..but Qi Refinement at the 8th Realm was nothing against a peak Rank-1 demonic beast.

Not to mention now she was seriously injured

“GRRRAARR!!”

The huge demonic boar finally rushed toward, intending to kill this nimble prey.

Seeing this,

A cold lump of despair settled in her stomach.

“This… this is the end.”

She gritted her teeth and close her eye weakly, bracing herself for the final crushing impact.

Then—

A shadow burst from the nearby tree as it hit the massive demonic beasts.

Boom!

The massive demonic boar was slammed sideways as if struck by a mountain.

Then its massive body slammed into the trees, each one erupting violently on impact.

Boom!

Crack!

Boom!

The force was so violent that Ye Shuang clutched her head, hunching down to take cover.

Then, as the tremor subsided, she opened her eyes wide, staring at the figure now standing before her

And her chest heaved, her heart pounding at the sight.

Even from behind, his broad muscular back radiated raw strength.

He seemed to radiate a presence so commanding that it pushed back the chaos and evil around him.

And as she gazed at his powerful back….

For the first time since the chase began—her heart, which was torn between terror and exhaustion, felt a fragile spark of relief… and security.

“Are you okay?”

The man who had just saved her glanced back, his expression sharp but carrying a hint of genuine concern.

Ye Shuang’s breath caught as she stared, dumbfounded at the sudden change but before she could say anything—

Boom!

“GRRRAARR!!”

The demonic boar had returned, its massive body rushing toward them with terrifying speed and anger.

Seeing this, Ye Shuang shouted anxiously,

“Watch out—dodge!”

Despite she knew that if Li Feng dodged, it would spell her death.

Yet she still shouted.

As much as she feared death, Ye Shuang’s heart as a righteous sect disciple could not bear to see the brave disciple who had come to save her fall alongside her.

’…If one of us has to die, let it be me….not both of us.’

A wry smile tugged at her pale lips at the thought.

But then something caught her attention.

Her eyes widened as they fell on the tall figure still standing firm before her, unmoving.

“Y-You—what are you doing ?!” she cried, panic rising in her chest.

She could sense that the person before her was in the same realm as her and was no match for the approaching fierce beast.

“You’re going to die !”

Then, Li Feng tilted his head slightly, meeting her wide, terrified gaze.

He smiled calmly, unhurried and…..unwavering.

“There’s no way I, Li Feng, would ever leave an injured fellow disciple behind.”

His voice rang steady and righteous as he stood tall, shielding her from the charging beast like an unmovable wall.

Hearing this, Ye Shuang’s heart skipped a beat, her vision blurring as moisture gathered in her eyes.

But the overwhelming pressure of the approaching demonic beast snapped her back to reality.

Gritting her teeth, she tried to shout a warning to this good, heroic man—

—but it was already too late.

The beast had already reached them.

Its towering shadow swallowed the light, its killing intent crashing down like a tidal wave.

Her body went rigid, every instinct screaming danger.

To Ye Shuang, time itself seemed to slow at that moment.

’…Maybe dying together with this heroic man… isn’t so bad.’

The thought drifted through her mind as she slowly closed her eyes as she resigned herself.

And just then, Li Feng’s calm voice reached her ears, gentle and steady.

“Don’t worry. I’ve got this.”

Before she could even open her eyes, Li Feng took a single step forward and threw a punch.

In that one step, he closed the distance to the charging beast.

Then, with a single strike—

BANG!

The sound was deafening, a rippling force tearing through the forest.

BOOM!

Trees splintered into shards, rocks erupted from the earth, and the very air seemed to scream in response.

The massive demonic boar that had frozen Ye Shuang in terror …. was obliterated in an instant.

Blackened dust and shredded fragments of its flesh flew outward, scattering across the forest like debris from a cataclysmic explosion.

Rumble!

The ground continue to quaked under the sheer force.

“…!!”

Ye Shuang instinctively covered her head, squeezing her eyes shut as the shockwave washed over her.

Only after the chaos had finally subsided did she open her eyes, disbelief etched across her face.

The beast… was gone.

Completely gone.

Nothing remained.

She looked at the man, still frozen in his punching stance, as the trees and rocks before him lay utterly obliterated.

And….

A breathtaking scene stretched out before her…..the path of destruction extending into the distance, bathed in the warm glow of the setting sun.

Ye Shuang continued to stare, dumbfounded, at the mesmerizing scene before her.

Then, Li Feng slowly turned, crouching down and extending his hand toward her.

“Are you alright ?”

Hearing the same question again, and seeing the genuine concern etched on his face, Ye Shuang finally shook off her daze.

While still trembling, she reached out her small, delicate hand into his large, steady palm.

Once she was fully standing, she whispered, her voice soft but earnest,

“I— I’m alright. Thank you… for saving me, senior brother…”

“Li Feng. That’s my name,” Li Feng said calmly, introducing himself while still holding her soft, small hand.

Upon finally learning the name of her savior, Ye Shuang let out a small sigh of relief and smiled gratefully.

“Ah, Senior Brother Li, thank you once again for saving me…. If it weren’t for you, today might have been the day of my funeral.”

She bowed deeply as she spoke, her tone sincere and filled with respect.

And as she bent forward, Li Feng’s gaze flicked just for a moment …..drawn to the deep cleavage revealed beneath her slightly disheveled robes.

He quickly averted his eyes while clearing his throat as if nothing had happened and his expression returning to calm, righteous composure.

“Think nothing of it,” he said gently, a soft smile on his face. “Helping those in need is only natural.”

After hearing his righteous words,

Ye Shuang straightened, unaware of anything amiss.

Her heart was filled only with respect and admiration for this seemingly upright senior brother.

But before she could calm her mind after narrowly escaping death—

Li Feng’s face suddenly turn paled.

He staggered weakly, then sank to one knee.

“Senior Brother Li ?!”
