Chapter 184: Tragic (3)
Chapter 184: Chapter 184: Tragic (3)
Li Feng had thought nothing could stir his hatred more than Mo Shuyan.
But today, he finally learned there was another kind of demonic cultivator he despised even more.
Looking at the two disgusting men forcing themselves on a helpless female disciple made his blood boil.
So much so that the veins on his hand bulged from how tightly he clenched his fist.
’…What is this feeling?’
Li Feng frowned as a strange, unpleasant heaviness swelled inside his chest.
It wasn’t righteous fury.
Nor was it sorrow at seeing a fellow sect disciple about to be violated.
He knew himself too well.
He was narcissistic enough to admit he wasn’t some shining hero who suddenly cared so much for others stranger.
No—this feeling was different.
….As if just breathing the same air as them was something he couldn’t tolerate.
It was as if these two demonic disciples were something he needed to crush simply because…he didn’t like that the fact that they existed.
And Li Feng always trusted his feelings.
The big-nosed man, shocked for a moment, snapped out of his daze and hurriedly tried to stand up—
Bang.
Suddenly—
A resounding strike echoed, followed by the wet, tearing sound of flesh.
The big-nosed man stared blankly as the world flipped.
His vision spun as his body was suddenly upside down.
“…Eh?”
He blinked in confusion, wondering why he was looking at his own body, still standing upright with his little brother dangling out.
Then he noticed something else.
His body… didn’t have a head.
“Wha—”
Bang.
Before he could finish his final word, his severed head slammed into a nearby tree and exploded into bloody chunks, painting the bark red.
Spurt!
The headless corpse finally erupted like a fountain, spraying blood before collapsing to its knees and falling forward.
Ling Lin who still have her legs spread wide, as her pale large breasts hanging out freely—stared dumbfounded at the scene above her.
Above her stood a tall, imposing man in a white sect uniform, with blood splashing across his cold and handsome face as he looked down.
Seeing that ruthless eye,
Her blue eyes shimmered with a strange light…. astonishment, awe, and maybe something deeper—as she burned the scene deep into her memory.
Instead of fear,… the sight of this overwhelming strength made her heart tremble.
Not in terror…..but in something dangerously close to admiration.
But while she stared in wonder,
In contrast, the thin man above her scrambled back in panic.
He hurriedly released her hands and jumped back to gain distance.
“Who are y—”
He didn’t finish his words.
Li Feng already appeared before him like a shadow.
So close their chests nearly touched.
And so close that the thin man could feel the terrifying raw pressure rolling down on his shoulder from that muscular body.
The thin man looked up in horror, meeting those cold, unblinking eyes.
“…I knew it. So unpleasant,” Li Feng murmured.
The thin man tried to back away once more, but a hand clamped around his neck, lifting him off the ground.
“A-Ack!!” he choked as the claw-like fingers dug into his skin.
His arms and legs flailed helplessly as he struggled in mid-air.
The grip slowly tightened as Li Feng was about to snap his neck in half.
“W-Wait ! I know something about the captured female disciples !”
Li Feng’s hand paused.
He frowned. “…What are you talking about?”
The thin man smiled weakly, face red from suffocation.
“Actually, we captured some female disc—”
In the middle of speaking, he suddenly flicked a dagger toward Li Feng’s face.
BOOM!
A sudden violent explosion erupted on impact.
Heat washed over the surroundings, and scorching the air.
Ling Lin’s eyes widened in horror.
“No! Senior!”
The thin man grinned wickedly at her reaction, feeling triumphant.
“Hehehe… righteous disciples are so easy to deal with.”
Then his gaze slid to Ling Lin who was still half-naked and exposed alluringly.
“And now that he’s gone, I can take your virgin yin too. I’ll make you into my cauldrons… hah, how lucky am I?”
He never expected that the big-nosed man would die so suddenly.
With him gone, he could finally have that helpless prey all to himself…..without having to share.
But just as he reveled in his comeback victory, something felt wrong and he finally noticed something.
“…Why am I still suspended in the air?”
He murmured, confused as he looked at the muscular hand still gripping his neck while his body still dangling in the air.
Then,
“Ack!! W-Wha—”
A low groan slipped from him as the fingers around his neck suddenly tightened.
He gritted his teeth, struggling to push the hand away but it was useless, as if the hand clamping his neck weren’t flesh at all, but a steel claw.
Finally, his eyes locked onto the flames across from him, watching as that hand reached out from within.
Soon, the smoke and sparks from the explosion began to fade, revealing Li Feng’s calm, and very much alive face.
He wasn’t even scratched.
It was as if the blast had been nothing more than a breeze.
The thin man stared in disbelief.
“I-Impossible! that was my—”
“I’ve had enough of your nonsense.”
Li Feng cut him off , his voice turn colder as he slowly began to squeezed harder.
Soon,
The thin man’s eyes start to bulged, as his throat slowly collapsing under the terrifying pressure.
“….!!!”
His mouth opened, but no sound came out other than wet choking.
Spurt!
Spurt!
Slowly,
Blood start to streamed from the thin man’s eyes, ears, and nose.
One eyeball even bulged grotesquely, as if it ready to pop out.
With one eye still intact, he stared at Li Feng in terror…realizing that this monster was actually slowly killing him instead of granting him a quick death.
“A-Are… you… really… a righteous—!”
Before he could finish—
SPURT!
His head burst like an overfilled blood bag, spraying red in every direction.
Some even splattered onto Li Feng’s cheek and robe but he didn’t even flinch.
Thump.
Li Feng casually released the ruined corpse, letting it fall lifelessly to the ground.
He looked at his blood-covered hand… then exhaled softly, finally free of that unpleasant irritation.
“…It seems I have to ask that female disciple who these guys are. Maybe I can find out why my instinct seems to despise them so much.”
Only then did he turn toward Ling Lin who still have her eye wide as she have her gaze on him.
He walked to her side, kneeling down gently.
A small, apologetic smile tugged at his lips.
“Ah… junior sister. I’m sorry you have to witness that. Are you okay? Can you move?”
Ling Lin who heard his words, blinked.
Her breath trembled, chest rising and falling softly while her pale breasts still exposed to the open air but she didn’t even think to cover herself.
Her mind was too blank and overwhelmed.
Moments ago, she had watched this man tear two people who was like a nightmare to her apart with his bare hands.
Cold and merciless without even blinking.
Yet now…
Li Feng knelt beside her, lowering himself to her level, his tone and gaze turning gentle and warm, almost tender.
The shift was too sudden.
Her heartbeat thumped wildly in her chest—so fast she could feel it pounding through her ears.
“Se–Senior…” she whispered, voice cracking slightly.
Seeing her helpless yet alluring and shy face, Li Feng’s face softened even more.
“Don’t force yourself. You must have been frightened.”
His hand hovered on her bare shoulder as he gently caress her soft skin like he was trying to calm her down.
To Ling Lin, that warmth of his palm make her cheeks burned scarlet.
Her heart fluttered uncontrollably—
As a strange mix of lingering fear and… something else stir inside her.
Admiration.
Relief.
…and a shy, instinctive attraction toward overwhelming strength.
As someone who had once been an orphan, her type had always been drawn to someone who could make her feel safe, both in body and in mind.
And security meant powerful strength ….but Ling Lin didn’t seem to fully understand this feeling within herself yet.
Which was why she was now confused by her racing heart as she had never felt anything like this before.
Her lips parted, trembling slightly.
“I… I… Senior Brother… you…”
She stuttered, unable to form a single proper sentence.
Her body still couldn’t move—everywhere on her body still felt weak, as if her bones were melting and she couldn’t muster even a sliver of strength.
Li Feng blinked at her reaction, then smiled faintly.
“Hmm? Are you hurt anywhere?”
He tilted his head as he looked over her body, his gaze lingering a moment too long on her pale, generous breasts.
Ling Lin’s heart thundered violently as she noticed that glance.
She didn’t know why her heart was beating so fast.
She wasn’t sure if it was just the shock of surviving the ordeal…or because the man before her who seemed exactly like her ideal type standing so close, and arriving to save her like the prince she had read about in storybooks.
Her thoughts tangled into chaos as her emotions swirled too wildly.
Slowly her face start to turn red and shy like a little maiden who about to enter her bridal chamber.
A little distance away…
The blue jade necklace that had been tossed aside lay quietly in the dirt.
But its once-normal surface now shimmered faintly….just for a heartbeat as if something inside had been on the verge of activating.
Then, in the next moment, the light faded.
….The jade returned to its dormant, ordinary appearance.
