A Farmer's Journey To Immortality

Chapter 541: Harmonizing Mind, Body & Spirit P1

Chapter 541: Harmonizing Mind, Body & Spirit P1

Aksai pondered a bit, thinking of the pros and cons of consuming such a precious elixir for a reason other than what it was intended for.

But after some time, he nodded as he recognized the truth in Yelia’s words.

“Well… I wanted to save this elixir for when I got back to Emerald Cove and found some personal time to cultivate in peace. But…. things don’t always go one’s way, do they?”

He sighed and opened the vial and drank the elixir. It was thick and warm, like syrup made from fire and iron. As soon as it entered his body, his meridians tingled.

A new energy spread through him. It was different from Spirit essence or Aether—it was the deep-rooted force of his own body, the silver Qi that ran through his veins. It began to awaken.

Aksai’s muscles tightened. His bones pulsed. His breathing slowed, then deepened.

Yelia stood up and backed away, letting him take it all in. The Blood Spirit Elixir was working.

Soon, his trembling stopped. His pale face regained some color. The strain on his shoulders lessened, and the heavy pressure in his chest slowly faded.

A few days later.

Aksai sat cross-legged, his eyes closed and his breathing slow.

Days had passed since he consumed the Celestial-grade Anaadi Soul Nourishing Pill and the Blood Spirit Elixir. He hadn’t moved an inch since then. But inside his body, storms were raging.

His silvery Qi, a sign of his Argent Body Realm, had thickened. It no longer looked like simple energy but more like smooth, flowing mercury. This mercury-like Qi slowly moved through his Martial Veins, spreading throughout his body.

Every pulse of this Qi made his bones harder and his muscles denser. The power it gave him didn’t just make him stronger—it rebuilt his body from the inside.

His robe had long been torn into pieces. The pressure coming from his body was too much for any fabric. A strange glow came from his skin, one that flickered with silver, blue, and soft purple hues—each color representing a type of energy within him. Spirit. Body. Mind. They were all working together in perfect harmony.

Aksai didn’t speak or move. He was in a state of deep trance. But even in this state, his cultivation techniques worked on their own. His Spirit cultivation technique—Sun-Moon Duality—operated on one side of his body, balancing two opposing Spirit flows.

On the other side, his body cultivation technique—Celestial Harmony—flowed through him like a calm river, strengthening his bones and muscles without making them too bulky.

The two techniques were different, but they didn’t interfere with each other. Instead, they helped one another. One raised the limits of his soul. The other refined his flesh and blood. Together, they made his entire being stronger.

And surprisingly, it wasn’t because of the active intervention of the Neural Link Fabric. These cultivation techniques were operating on their own seamlessly because of Aksai’s mysterious state.

The Aether inside him, tied to his Verdant Elder Wisp, flowed steadily. Its pressure had become much more stable now. He had fully stabilized his Aether cultivation at the early stage of the Wisp Mastery Realm. Just one more step and he would reach the mid-stage.

The improvement in his mind and body also began affecting his Spirit cultivation. His Spirit essence became more refined, heavier, and more potent. The foundation of his Foundation Building Realm, which had always felt a little shaky, now settled and became perfect.

Aksai’s muscles, which had become thick and heavy during the process, started compressing. The mercury-like Qi pressed down on them and shaped them, not letting any power go to waste. Slowly, his lean and sharp figure returned. But this time, every inch of him was packed with power.

His body cultivation—Argent Body Realm—soon reached perfection. His physical body had now become something rare even among body cultivators. He wasn’t just strong. He had become resilient, flexible, and durable—like a weapon forged from the best metal.

Outside the room, everything remained still. The sun never set or rose in the Enchanted Everwood Farm. Eternal twilight ruled the sky.

Yelia, who had been keeping an eye on him for the past few days, had left only after making sure he was out of danger. She had gone back to tending the Spirit trees and the various creatures around the farm.

But deep inside the farmhouse, Aksai’s cultivation was reaching a height never seen before. He was no longer just a Spirit cultivator, or just a martial artist, or just someone connected to the mysterious Aether path. He was all three at once.

And at this point, he had taken his first step toward mastering them together.

A few more days passed just like that.

Aksai remained seated in his trance even after two whole weeks. His body was still, but within his mind, a storm of motion had begun.

A vast, endless space opened up in his consciousness—like a world built only for battle. The ground beneath was made of cracked stone, stretching far in all directions.

Above him, the sky was a swirl of dim silver and purple light. In the middle of this strange mindscape, Aksai stood, bare-handed, facing an army of faceless figures.

Each one moved like a trained martial artist from Martial World Sharang. Each one came at him without fear.

Aksai didn’t back away. He welcomed them.

With a calm breath, he raised his silver-Qi-coated hand and struck out with Harmony Palm. His movement was slow, but graceful. The first faceless opponent was pushed back, almost as if struck by invisible force. But Aksai didn’t stop there.

Another figure jumped at him, this time faster. Aksai responded with a burst of Qi Flow Arts, guiding his own energy like a stream, twisting his body mid-air to dodge and counter.

The battle in his mind wasn’t just for practice. It was a test—a reshaping of everything he had learned over the years.

More figures rushed him. Dozens of them. Each one stronger than the last.

Aksai gritted his teeth, but a calm smile remained on his face.
