A Farmer's Journey To Immortality

Chapter 710: Grand Celebration P4

Chapter 710: Grand Celebration P4

The White Limiya Lord also spoke.

“He would have been very happy,” she said. “Becoming a Core Formation Lord before a hundred years of age is no small thing. It is something worth celebrating for generations.”

Even the Red Limiya Lord nodded once.

“The Blackblood Lord was rough, but he knew talent when he saw it,” she said. “He would have bragged about you to the end of his life.”

Aksai listened quietly. When the Lords finished speaking, he stood up slightly and bowed toward them.

“Thank you,” he said. “Senior Haitin guided me during an important time in my life. I will remember that.”

Aksai smiled internally as he thought of how all the Lords were so adamant on performing the formalities. The Blackblood Lord was someone from the demonic faction. The Lords he was currently hosting were of the righteous faction and were enemies with his master-in-name. And yet, they spoke of him as if they were really close friends with him.

Then again, Aksai couldn’t be sure if the Lords from the demonic and righteous factions were really enemies. After all, if it was opposing the other Lord because of conflict of interests, the demonic and righteous faction Lords were all the same. The demonic faction Lords opposed other demonic Lords and the righteous faction Lords wouldn’t hesitate to battle it out with the others from the same faction to secure their core interests.

’Hmm. The so-called friendship among these Lords might not be that deep but it is also clear that they don’t consider each other to be their mortal enemies. Haah. What a farce. These Lords can argue with each other one moment and sit by the same table to share a drink while their followers spill each others’ blood in their names.’

Aksai put his stray thoughts aside and raised his hand and waved it lightly.

The music that had been soft in the background grew clearer and fuller. The slow rhythm turned lively, and gentle Spirit sounds spread through the grand hall. The mood changed at once.

Beautiful dancers stepped onto the open stage below the platform. Their robes were light and flowing, made in shades of green and blue. As they moved, Spirit light followed their steps, leaving faint trails in the air. Their movements were smooth and calm, matching the rhythm of the music. The crowd slowly relaxed as they watched.

At the same time, the banquet began.

Servants moved quickly and quietly between the rows. Large trays of food were brought out one after another. There were roasted Spirit beasts, fresh Spirit fish from deep waters, shining fruits filled with essence, and warm dishes that released rich aromas. Bowls and plates soon filled the tables in front of the guests.

Soft voices and low laughter began to spread through the hall.

Aksai stood up from his seat and reached out. A few jade bottles floated up from beside him. Each bottle was sealed with a wooden cork marked with the Emerald Cove symbol.

“This is Bacchus’ Blessing,” Aksai said with a calm smile. “A new blend.”

He personally poured the wine for the Lords seated beside him. The liquid was clear with a faint golden glow. When the wine touched the cups, a rich scent spread out, warm and deep.

The Purple River Lord raised his cup and sniffed lightly. His eyes widened a little.

“This smell…” he said slowly. “It’s different.”

The Sun Ocean Lord laughed.

“So this is the new one,” he said. “Aksai, you really don’t make things easy for us.”

Aksai smiled.

“This batch has reached the third order,” he said. “The effects are mild, but it should still be helpful.”

The Lords exchanged looks. They were no strangers to Bacchus’ Blessing. Wine drums of it appeared in the Haan Di auctions from time to time, and every time, they caused a fierce fight. Even they, as Lords, could not always get a share. The supply was too small, and the demand was too high.

The Green Glory Lord took a sip. His eyes narrowed slightly as Spirit warmth spread through his body.

“Good,” he said. “Very good.”

The White Limiya Lord nodded in agreement.

“It is smooth due to a blend of elemental energies added to it,” she said. “And you have balanced those energies with each other such that they don’t clash with each other. You’ve improved again.”

The Red Limiya Lord smirked.

“No wonder the auctions are always empty before they even begin,” she said. “You’re really spoiling the rest of us.”

As the banquet went on, the mood in the grand hall grew warm and relaxed. The dancers continued their performance, and the music flowed smoothly. After a while, the Purple River Lord placed his cup down and glanced to the side.

He nodded slightly.

At once, one of his grand elders stepped forward. The elder bowed deeply and then opened a large jade box. Inside were several Spirit herbs sealed in clear crystal cases.

There were chunks of heavy Spirit ore that looked dull on the outside but carried dense essence inside. Some were yellow-brown, while others were deep gray.

When placed on the ground, they seemed to sink slightly, as if the floor itself was bowing to their weight. These ores were often used to strengthen foundations and stabilize unstable cores.

Alongside them were thick roots of Spirit plants that grew only in deep underground caverns. Their surfaces were rough and dry, but their inner flesh was full of steady earth essence. These roots were known for calming violent energy and helping form solid pools that would not collapse easily.

There were also clumps of Spirit soil sealed inside jade jars. The soil shimmered faintly and carried traces of ancient mountains. This kind of soil was rare and often used as a base material when forming earth-based cultivation grounds.

Aksai could already imagine how these items would merge together to form a deep and stable earth pool, one that could bear pressure without cracking.

“These are third-order Spirit herbs of the earth element,” the Purple River Lord said. “They should help you stabilize an earth pool.”

Aksai was slightly taken aback by the generous gift. But he quickly regained his composure before standing up and then accepting the box with both hands.

“Thank you,” he said calmly. “I appreciate it.”

The Sun Ocean Lord laughed and followed soon after. He waved his hand, and two elders stepped forward carrying a long Spirit pouch. When they opened it, moist Spirit air spread out.

There were drops of Spirit water floating inside crystal vials, each drop perfectly round and glowing softly. These drops came from deep Spirit springs and carried pure water essence.

There were also thin blue leaves from rare Spirit plants that grew near endless lakes. The leaves looked fragile, but they held a flowing essence inside them. When refined, they could help Spirit energy move smoothly, preventing stagnation.

Another item was a translucent pearl the size of a thumb. It looked like it was made of water itself. This pearl could absorb and store water essence and slowly release it, making it perfect for balancing a water pool.

“Hahaha. Young Lord Aksai, these are gifts from my Sun Ocean Society,” the Sun Ocean Lord said. “They… um… they were indeed collected with some effort. They should be useful to you.”

Aksai nodded again and took the pouch.

The Green Glory Lord was next. His expression was calm, almost thoughtful. Several elders came forward and placed a wooden chest on the floor. When the lid was lifted, thick green light spilled out. Inside were Spirit plants with strong life force.

There were Spirit vines sealed inside long wooden cases. The vines were still alive, slowly moving as if breathing. Each vine carried rich life essence and could grow endlessly if nurtured well.

There were also Spirit seeds, each one shining with green light. These seeds came from ancient trees and were often used to create living Spirit structures. Even without planting them, their life force alone was enough to nourish other energies.

The most striking item was a small Spirit sapling sealed in a glass container. Its leaves were bright green, and its roots floated freely in the air. The sapling gave off a gentle yet powerful presence, full of growth and renewal. It was clearly a 3rd Order Spirit resource that had mutated a bit and advanced further in the rank.

Aksai’s eyes lingered on these items a bit longer. The wood-element resources matched his path the most. They would help him refine his druidic bloodline further in the future, saving him time and efforts to farm them inside his own isolated realm.

“Consider these little things as gifts from my Green Glory Sect, Lord Aksai. As you must have already felt, these are wood-element resources,” the Green Glory Lord said. “They match your path well.”

Aksai’s eyes flickered with understanding.

’Oh! I understand now. It was this Green Glory old man who told the rest about my cultivation technique. No wonder the others came prepared to make me feel indebted to them,’ Aksai thought to himself and smiled mirthlessly.
