Chapter 1776: Heavenly Emperor Luo

After Yan Changsheng and Su Ying embraced Tantai Lan, the Heavenly Emperor nodded and greeted them respectfully.

"Seniors," said Heavenly Emperor Jiang.

"Heavenly Emperor Jiang, you do not need to be so polite. You are also a Divine Fruit Heavenly Emperor, so we can address each other as peers," said Yan Changsheng as he waved his hand in the air, returning the respect that the current leader of the divine continents was due.

Yan Changsheng and Su Ying returned their greetings, though they knew what the group was hoping to hear, so they immediately addressed the elephant in the room. "The two of us know that the divine continents are now facing an existential crisis. However, the reason why we have survived for so long is because of the withering glory resonance's glory resonant power. Unfortunately, now that the resonance has been taken away by the Origin Reversion Institute, the two of us are unable to remain alive for much longer, much less leave the Spiritual Resonance Cave."

Yan Changsheng shook his head. "A Divine Fruit wood resonance might possess great vitality, but it's not enough to keep us alive. The moment we leave the Spiritual Resonance Cave, we'll be subject to the backlash of time. If you were to extend our lives with the Divine Fruit wood resonance, you wouldn't be able to offset the backlash. If we want to resist the tides of time, we will require something similar to the Sect Master's withering glory resonance."

Heavenly Emperor Jiang fell silent before sighing lightly. The Shadow World had ten Divine Fruit Grand Devil Kings and sixty-two ordinary ones. They vastly outnumbered the divine continents. In the Nobles' Battlefield, they relied on the Realm Wall, the Ancient Covenant, and the advantageous terrain to eke out a defensive parity.

Unfortunately, with there being a breach in the Realm Wall, the Grand Devil Kings had a direct path to the divine continents. When the final showdown began, the living would undoubtedly be at a massive disadvantage in terms of numbers. If Yan Changsheng and Su Ying could leave the Spiritual Resonance Cave, the situation would be much less daunting.

The expressions of the Heavenly Emperors shifted unsteadily. As the divine light washed over their bodies, they could clearly sense the terrifying power it contained. Life divine light could heal all injuries, while death divine light could rob one of all their vitality, ending their lives. This was incomparably overbearing.

Heavenly Emperors lived long lives, but they were not immortal. It was said that Heavenly Emperors had a lifespan of eight thousand years, but Li Luo's death divine light could reduce their lifespans, making him an opponent no one wished to encounter. Even if they managed to emerge victorious, being struck by his divine light several times would cut their lives very short.

The divine light entered Yan Changsheng's body, and a moment later, its aura flowed through his flesh and blood. Wisps of smoke rose from his body and dissipated immediately after. The smoke seemed harmless, but all of the Heavenly Emperors immediately scattered, not daring to touch it.

Yan Changsheng let go of Li Luo's hand and sighed in surprise as he inspected his body. Although the accumulated effects of time had not completely left, he was feeling lighter than he had in centuries. This meant that Li Luo's lifedeath resonance could indeed resolve the couple's issue. This young man was truly remarkable.

Li Luo sighed heavily and said, "My lifedeath resonance is able to resolve some of the effects of time, but some of it is too deeply entrenched within your bodies. With my current strength, removing it completely will take an incredibly long time. If I could have other Heavenly Emperors proficient with life force attributes assisting me in a formation, the efficiency would be much higher."

Heavenly Emperor Jiang heaved a sigh of relief and smiled. "That is a simple task. So long as we can allow Heavenly Emperors Yan and Su to leave the Spiritual Resonance Cave, any of the Heavenly Emperors present will be willing to help you at any time."

Yan Changsheng turned towards Su Ying and said, "It looks like we'll be able to live for a while longer."

Although some of the effects of time had been dealt with, they wouldn't be able to live the lifespans of ordinary Heavenly Emperors. At the very most, they would be able to leave the Spiritual Resonance Cave and live for a few more years. The divine continents were now facing an existential crisis, and as members of the Sacred Void Resonance Sect, they would uphold the legacy of their sect and do their best to protect the world.

Su Ying gave a shallow smile. She had lived for a very long time, but being able to once again roam the divine continents and see the world didn't sound bad at all.

The fact that there were two more Divine Fruit Heavenly Emperors fighting for the divine continents was a cause for celebration. Even Heavenly Emperor Jiang couldn't help but beam widely, unable to contain his excitement.

"Heavenly Emperor Luo, you are indeed the divine continents' lucky star," said Heavenly Emperor Jiang.

Heavenly Emperor Luo? Li Luo was slightly taken aback as he pondered happily for a moment. Was this going to be his future Heavenly Emperor title? This was something he had always dreamed of.

"Heavenly Emperor Jiang, how is Senior Wang Taixi doing in the Celestial Mirror Pagoda? Are the remnants of soul and physical body still intact?" Li Luo asked.

Heavenly Emperor Jiang nodded. "After Xuanjin obtained his remnant soul from you, we used a secret art to integrate it into his body. However, even after countless attempts, it was difficult to revive him."

At this point, his gaze flickered thoughtfully. He looked at Li Luo with eyes full of hope as he asked, "Heavenly Emperor Luo, do you think you can revive him?"

Wang Taixi was also a Divine Fruit Heavenly Emperor, but he had suffered grievous injuries and was no longer at his peak. However, if he could be revived, he would still be a substantial fighting force for the divine continents.

Li Luo sighed and responded, "I can give it a try. However, I am not strong enough to revive someone yet. All I can do is use large amounts of life force to bolster and strengthen his spirit while slowing down the decay of his body, allowing him to live for a short period of time."

Truly resurrecting someone, especially if they were a former Divine Fruit Heavenly Emperor, was not something he was capable of right now. Even so, his words delighted Heavenly Emperor Jiang.

"Heavenly Emperor Luo, please do what you can. The rest of the Heavenly Emperors and I will do our best to assist you," Heavenly Emperor Jiang solemnly said.

The rest of the Heavenly Emperors had looks of curiosity as they studied Li Luo. Heavenly Emperor Jiang wasn't exaggerating. With just a single move, Li Luo had increased the number of Divine Fruit combatants by two and could potentially produce one more. If he wasn't a lucky star, what else could he be? As the final decisive battle approached, his assistance gave everyone an irrepressible sense of enthusiasm.

Heavenly Emperor Jiang raised his head and focused on the end of the void, where an abyss-like gap had appeared in the Realm Wall. Amidst the darkness, he could sense countless auras of Grand Devil Kings starting to approach.

"It looks like the most important goal for ending the Origin Reversion War is to repair the gap in the Realm Wall," he said.

Everyone understood this well. However, how could such a task be easy to complete, considering the interference of the Shadow World and the Origin Reversion War?
