Chapter 1796: Nine Lives

Li Luo pierced through the void in his Heavenly Dragon form and crashed directly into Nine Snakes with incredible destructive prowess. The latter's sinister expression changed completely.

"Have you gone crazy?!" Nine Snakes roared furiously.

How could Li Luo do something as insane as using his own body to resist the destructive power of the Self-Destructing Wheel? This was essentially suicide!

"Are you trying to bring me down with you?" Nine Snakes immediately understood Li Luo's intentions.

Many of the Heavenly Emperors had opted to take down their opponents in mutual destruction. After seeing what had happened to his peers, Nine Snakes had made preparations in case Li Luo decided to do the same. As a result, it fled in a beam of bloody light. At the same time, the sticky blood clouds in the sky above the East Divine Continent began to descend, transforming into fleshy walls that obstructed Li Luo's path. Clearly, Nine Snakes wasn't planning to bear the brunt of Li Luo's kamikaze attack.

However, Li Luo's durable Heavenly Dragon body was breaking apart, unable to sustain the power of the Twelve Resonances Emperor Wheel. Blood poured out of the wounds, resembling a golden rain showering the ground below.

One barrier after another shattered as he flew towards Nine Snakes with unimaginable speed. The latter's scarlet eyes were filled with distress as it watched Li Luo approach with his wave of destruction. It knew that there was no way to avoid this—its opponent had already sealed off the entire space. He had truly chosen the path of mutual annihilation.

Knowing that it couldn't escape, Nine Snakes's expression turned malevolent as a blood mark appeared between its eyebrows. The mark cracked open, revealing a scarlet Divine Fruit that emanated boundless power. The entire world felt a heavy pressure descending upon it the moment it appeared.

"You are nowhere near strong enough to take me down with you," Nine Snakes snorted coldly.

The scarlet Divine Fruit shot forward, turning into a beam of bloody light as it ripped across the firmament. Wherever it passed, flesh and blood materialized behind it, hanging in the sky, akin to a fleshy forest that was as unsettling as it was intimidating. This was because the Divine Fruit Authority was simply too overbearing, causing even the heavens and earth to be influenced by its presence. Clearly, Nine Snakes didn't dare to take Li Luo's final killing move lightly; it had pushed its Divine Fruit Authority to its limits.

Two destructive streaks of light collided in the sky. All of the living creatures of the East Divine Continent watched in terror. At that moment, it was as though two suns were rising across the horizon.

Immense amounts of Authority swept out into every corner of the continent. The strange thing was that no sound could be heard. It was as though all soundwaves had been annihilated without a trace.

Countless shattered violet-gold dragonscales fell from the sky. Wherever they landed, a mountain would form and countless precious treasures would be created. Whoever the dragon blood landed on, whether it was a human or a beast, they instantly underwent a transformation and experienced a great boost in strength.

All of the living creatures continued to watch the sky in trepidation. They could clearly sense that Li Luo's aura was fading away.

"Damn it! Li Luo!" Yu Lang let out a mournful roar as he stared blankly at the sky. His eyes were bulging as his hand trembled uncontrollably, struggling to keep a grip on his blade.

Both Li Luo's aura and Nine Snakes' aura had vanished in that collision. They seemed to have completely disappeared. It turned out that even Heavenly Emperors would find it extraordinarily difficult to survive such a clash. It was unthinkable that the power of Authority could be ground out of existence.

The gloomy hiss of a snake echoed throughout the sky a moment later. All of the living creatures of the East Divine Continent felt as though they had been plunged into ice, looking up in terror.

The Nine Snakes Grand Devil King wasn't dead! How had it managed to survive Li Luo's fearsome attack? Were all Divine Fruit Grand Devil Kings this frightening? Despair welled up within the hearts of the living.

A bundle of blood flames flared up at the edge of the sky, gradually burning with greater intensity. Eventually, a raging inferno unfolded across the heavens, and a devilish god walked out of it. Nine Snakes had returned!

The last glimmer of hope in the hearts of the King Stage experts on the East Divine Continent evaporated. Heavenly Emperor Luo had fallen, so who could deal with this invincible opponent?
