Qian’e leaned back against the chair and said, “What if… I can’t bear to part with you?”

“Why can’t you bear to part with me?” Qiao Mei asked.

“This company is so big. I’m scared of managing it alone,” Qian’e said, coming up with a random reason.

“I don’t believe you,” Qiao Mei said immediately.

“Alright, I’m just jealous. I want to take a vacation too! I’ve been very conscientious for six years and haven’t taken any vacation at all! Da Zhuang and I haven’t even gone on our honeymoon yet! When you come back from your honeymoon, I want to go on my honeymoon too!” Qian’e said laughingly.

Qiao Mei thanked Qian’e for her kindness and went home with the bank card. She did not intend to use the money. She would put it aside and show it to Qian’e when they were old. This would serve as a fragment of their memories from when they were young.

After packing all the luggage, Xia Zhe came home with a new car. Nowadays, everyone was allowed to buy cars, but cars were still very expensive and only rich families could afford it.

“This is a pickup truck. It can hold a lot of things. We should travel in this truck,” Xia Zhe said.

“You’re so thoughtful!” Qiao Mei looked at the new car happily. Although the red paint was very flamboyant, it suited Qiao Mei’s personality. This was Qiao Mei’s favorite color.
