Beastmaster of the Ages

Chapter 3754 - Splitting Up

Chapter 3754 - Splitting Up

Luori Guiyang soon noticed a problem. "Xing Yue's death means we can't obtain the ship of that stink bug. Won't he be able to flee after the trial and take a million slaves away with him?"

It would be a grand humiliation for everyone involved. He kept thinking about it and came to a conclusion. Before I fight Xing Baizhan, I have to take care of that insect! Otherwise, there wouldn't even be time for him to advance to the fifth level. Tianming would always be causing him trouble. He swiftly took the remnants of the Scorchmoon and Blazestar Cults to Xing Yue's golden cultivation room. As expected, nobody was left.

"Truly an alley rat that comes and goes without anyone noticing." That only made him even more mad.

Little did he know that Tianming was just as angry at him for barging in before he had a chance to see what the galaxy-class order was like. Tianming was desperate as well and still wanted to liberate the other million slaves!

"He went to join up with Xing Baizhan?! Damn it!"

"Xing Baizhan!" Luori Guiyang yelled, glaring at the deathly specter who was leaning against the door. "I already said what I wanted to say!"

"Isn't this heavenly oath of yours just like dropping an anvil on your own foot?" Xing Baizhan mocked.

"Before coming in here, did you expect these three stink bugs to pose such a huge problem? Long Qian didn't even know that we were here in this Middlekin Star Ruin when the oath was made!" They still weren't aware of what Bai Ye had done or they would have completely flipped out.

"The question now is why I would help Starmoon Haven take back the million slaves and ship that you lost? What's in it for me?"

"I heard there's someone among the slaves, Long Qian, who had escaped from the Wargod Cult! The more she triumphs, the more humiliated your cult will be. If you let those three stink bugs leave under the protection of the Heavenly Dao Arena with a million slaves, they'll be able to disappear with their ship! You won't be able to catch them ever again. Shame on you!"

Everyone in the Wargod Cult fell silent.

Luori Guiyang continued, "Let me be frank with you. All of us are part of the Eightpart Pantheons, the strongest races in the Realm of Order. It's one thing for us to compete among each other. We do it fairly, with proper rules. However, we can't ever let those slaves, stink bugs, and degenerate races rise above us!

"If you don't deal with those stink bugs, when the slaves out there hear about it, they'll be harder and harder to manage! The order in Starmoon Haven is crumbling because of a single cosmic god slave! Once the slaves see hope, they'll rebel even at the cost of their own lives!"

"Alright, enough. What's your plan?" Xing Baizhan said. Luori Guiyang's rhetoric about their honor hadn't convinced him. Instead, he just didn't want to let Long Qian flee. She was proud and harder to tame than Xing Yue, and he liked that about her.

"That kid’s hiding like a rat. I didn't send anyone after him before this because of you, but now that we have a truce we can send everyone out to look for him. We stop cultivating, and once we spot them, both of us will hunt them down. The one who reaches them first kills them!" Luori Guiyang said.

"What? You're still making this a competition, eh?" Xing Baizhan said.

"What? Afraid of taking me up on it?"

"Fine! This fly-swatting game sounds rather fun."

Tianming was just like a fly, almost impossible to catch and constantly annoying. But once the slap connected, he would be turned into a flat mush!

"Alright, may the best man win," Luori Guiyang said.

"Hahaha!" Xing Baizhan gave him a high five. Once Luori Guiyang left, Xing Baizhan went wild with laughter.

"Brother Zhan, what’re you so happy about?" someone asked.

"I'm completely absolved! Nobody will come seeking me out over my tussle with Xing Yue anymore," Xing Baizhan said.

They were all speechless.

"Forget it! Xing Yue was my woman, in a sense. Someone killed her, so avenging her is what I should do. Everyone, seek out the stink bugs! Don't miss any corner! Stay in groups of two. When you spot them, one of you stays behind to keep watch while the other comes back to report! Alright, hurry up!"

"Yes!" The participants were going mad over being unable to cultivate during this rare trial due to the conflict between the three factions.

"Now that we have a truce, we can get back to cultivating once the stink bugs are crushed!"

The specters scattered throughout the Cosmic God Palace in search of Tianming.

"They're all coming after me, eh?" Tianming hadn’t thought that Luori Guiyang would be such a coward. He would even bow his head to the hated Xing Baizhan for an alliance.

"What do we do, Big Brother? You aren't able to touch the galaxy-class order this way," Qingyu said, troubled.

"Yeah! Damn it...!" He grit his teeth in frustration. After killing Xing Chen, Xing Yue had come in before he’d had a chance. And when he’d killed her, Luori Guiyang and Xing Baizhan had started messing around. He was so close to the galaxy-class order! Both times, he had failed to access it!

"I know what he's planning," Moran said, smiling.

"Little Fish?" Qingyu blinked with curiosity.

"They sent out scouts to look, so he’ll blind them all," Moran said, looking at Tianming.

Tianming laughed. "Little Fish, you do understand me well."

"Blind them? What do you mean?" Qingyu asked.

"Kill them all!" Tianming said. He wasn't like he used to be; he was stronger, fiercer, and faster! Apart from Luori Guiyang and Xing Baizhan, he would kill anyone he encountered. Sending people out to hunt him down showed a critical misunderstanding of the Primordial Chaos Beasts' capabilities. Plus, the Cosmic God Palace was filled with Yin Chens. Who was the hunter and who was the hunted? They even went in convenient, bite-sized groups of two! With them split up, Tianming would be able to take them out without them even knowing how many they had lost.

"Let's split up and see who can kill them faster," Tianming said, challenging Qingyu.

"Alright, I'll go with Big Sis Little Fish. But Big Brother, are we going to kill them all? These are the top geniuses of the Middlekin Star Ruin. Won't it enrage them even more if we completely wipe them out?" she asked.

Tianming took a deep breath and shook his head. "This is a war for the survival of our kind, not child's play. Even if we show mercy, they won't. The only way to defeat them is to be more cruel than them."

"But they still have hostages," Qingyu said, troubled.

"Are you talking about the five million descendants of flameyellow divinities?"

"Yes!"

"Qingyu, I think you're forgetting something."

"What is it?"

"Did you notice that the Three Great Cults only have five million members in total? They’re individually stronger, thanks to having better access to resources, but the dragonoids aren't meek sheep that can be killed without consequences! They're just used to their status as slaves, but they aren’t helpless. As long as someone fans the flames in their hearts and builds up grudges, they will revolt!"
