Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Chapter 1874 Sect Growth (1)

Chapter 1874  Sect Growth (1)

Outside the little incident that had played out between Zu Fei and the blue deer demon beast, the rest of the sect dealt with the sudden flood far better and managed to recover and return to normal within a few weeks. The situation itself, not being viewed as anything negative given how the cultivation environment of the Seventh Star Peak had improved, making it far easier for those below the Domain Lord Realm to cultivate, while those close to the Domain Lord Realm or above also benefitted from improved comprehension that the spiritual rich environment provided.

The few from outside the sect or from the different branch sects that managed to get a chance to enter the Shattered Star Peaks for official business or as an opportunity, also found themselves even more unwilling to leave the Shattered Star Peaks. Turning an opportunity to enter the main sect at the Shattered Star Peaks into one of the most sought-after opportunities within the Star Shattering Sect's sphere of influence. Especially so for the now rather numerous branch sects, who had a real chance to become a permanent member of the main sect.

In a way, because of the ongoing competitiveness between the different branch sects for an opportunity to become a part of the main sect of the Shattered Star Peaks, Elder Song decided that the main sect of the Star Shattering Sect would stop directly recruiting disciples like it had done in the past and instead chose talented disciples from the different branch sects scattered throughout the sect's now rather sizable territory.

Of course, this did not mean that the sect's elders wouldn't be able to bring in disciples to become part of the main sect in the future, it just meant that the main sect wouldn't be doing any large scale recruitment events like it had done in the past or rather when it did any, it would be for the disciples from the different branch sects competing with each other for a chance to be promoted to a main sect disciple.

As for the promotion route for elders… That was rather simple, as they either had to be strong enough to fulfill the requirements of becoming a sect elder and have contributed to the sect.

Although, the elder promotion being put in place was mainly for future generations of elders for the different branch sects, as most of the elders running the different branch sects were elders from the main sect out on assignments to run these branch sects.

As for outsiders who happened to get the chance to step inside the Shattered Star Peaks and wanted to stay there… Unfortunately for them, there wasn't exactly a way for them to stay inside the Shattered Star Peaks no matter how much they wanted to do so after personally experiencing the benefits of cultivating there.

But… Even though it was impossible for them to remain inside the Shattered Star Peaks, those able to step inside the Shattered Star Peaks were all part of the different sects and other subordinate forces that existed under the Star Shattering Sect. Meaning that they could enter the Shattered Star Peaks from time to time and potentially even borrow some of the sect's resources and facilities by contributing to the Star Shattering Sect as a whole, something that encouraged the different powers under the Star Shattering Sect to work harder and overall ended up benefiting the sect's continued growth and influence in the region.

By far, the most useful tool for the Star Shattering Sect that was used by these different subordinate powers was none other than the different platforms that the sect had set up for those either breaking through to the Nascent Soul Realm or the Domain Lord Realm.

Not because the platforms in question were helpful in a breakthrough to the Nascent Soul Realm or the Domain Lord Realm, but instead because they used those breakthrough platforms that had been designed to minimize any damage caused by such a breakthrough to secure a spiritually rich environment for their breakthrough.

In a sense, it was not the breakthrough platforms they wanted, but instead the cultivation environment those platforms were in, as a spiritually rich environment filled with spiritual qi did improve someone's chances at breaking through to the Nascent Soul Realm or the Domain Lord Realm.

Not to mention, the danger of anyone interfering in one's breakthrough was essentially nonexistent due to the location of those platforms being the very heart of the Star Shattering Sect where even someone above the Soul Ascension Realm would find impossible to reach.

The Star Shattering Sect had long since managed to establish itself as the strongest power in the region, with no other power even comparable to it.

After all, for most of these different minor powers who might have one or two people in the Nascent Soul Realm watching over them, with the strongest ones having someone in the Domain Lord Realm and those in the Soul Ascension Realm essentially being the pinnacle of strength in their eyes, the Star Shattering Sec's existence was so far beyond their comprehension given how normally legendary figures at the Soul Ascension Realm could be easily encountered and beings beyond the Soul Ascension Realm also existed.

The Blue Sea Empire that was one of the major powers closest to the Star Shattering Sect's territory, might be something that some of the stronger powers under the Star Shattering Sect knew about, but the Blue Sea Empire didn't have any real influence or impact on the Star Shattering Sect and its territory. So… In the eyes of most powers that now exist under the Star Shattering Sect, there was only really the Star Shattering Sect around with no one even being close to comparable.

At the end of the day, the continent was simply far too vast and even someone in the Soul Ascension Realm would find it difficult to easily travel from one corner of a single central region to another in their lifetime without relying on teleportation formations along the way.

Only someone above the Soul Ascension Realm that had stepped into the Dao Seed Realm would be able to traverse the continent, but even then, it wouldn't be easy.

Only when someone managed to reach the Celestial Immortal Realm or the Profound Immortal Realm, would travelling across the vast continent become doable while still being able to keep oneself safe in the process, as exploring the vastest and deadliest region of the continent, the Southern Central Region, was impossible for anyone below that realm.

The exception to this being that someone managed to comprehend a Dao like the Dao of Space that would be able to keep them safe even in the face of someone who was a major realm above them, while at the same time significantly improving one's speed.

All that is to say, it was difficult for those below a certain cultivation realm to learn much about what existed outside their own little sphere and even if they did, it wouldn't really affect them much.

One such example being the current battle against demonic cultivators playing out at the borders of the sect. Although the different powers under the Star Shattering Sect knew about it, it didn't really affect them in the slightest and life continued.

Well… It wasn't exactly accurate to say the battle with the demonic cultivators didn't affect them, as there was no small number of cultivators from the different powers under the Star Shattering Sect that stepped forward every now and again trying to join the battle in hope of contributing to the Star Shattering Sect…

Although this might be fine if those wanting to contribute had reached the Domain Lord Realm or the Soul Ascension Realm and could help ensure the safety of the sect's disciples, the same could not be said if the one wanting to contribute had only reached the Foundation Establishment Realm.

If the sect accepted people like that, they would end up with the sect's disciples and disrupt the sect's intended use of the demonic cultivators for training the sect's younger disciples.

For this reason, information on the battle with demonic cultivators at the border of the sect's territory was something that the sect had attempted to suppress in an attempt to stop people from showing up wanting to join the battle against the demonic cultivators.

Overall, there was no small number of people looking for any way to try and either become part of the Star Shattering Sect or an opportunity to enter the main sect at the Shattered Star Peaks. Ultimately resulting in the city that had been constructed at the base of the Ninth Star Peak experiencing what could only be described as a terrifying growth rate, as it was the closest one could be to the Star Shattering Sect without directly entering the Shattered Star Peaks.

That and the fact that the growing spiritually rich environment of the Shattered Star Peaks inevitably influenced the area around the Shattered Star Peaks to some extent.

Although nowhere near comparable to the environment inside the Shattered Star Peaks themselves, the surrounding environment turned into a far better cultivation environment that attracted wandering cultivators without any power behind them to provide a spiritually rich environment for cultivation.
