Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Chapter 1877 A Small Change

Chapter 1877  A Small Change

While the city at the base of the Third Star Peak began to emerge, back on the Seventh Star Peak, Xuan Hao found himself opening his eyes after absorbing a vial of Stardusk Essence. Feeling his strength, taking another step forward as his spiritual sea had once again expanded with the help of the endless spiritual qi provided by the Stardusk Essence.

By now, it had been around a month since he had returned to the sect, and his days had been almost entirely spent on absorbing Stardusk Essence to expand his spiritual sea after his comprehension of the Dao of Formations broke through to the Perfection Realm and he officially stepped into the Saint Realm as a Formation Master.

The little time he had after each meditation dedicated to expanding his spiritual sea was either spent on his disciples or checking the small token that had been given to him by the old man from the Fallen Immortal Archipelago to see if those elders mentioned by the old man had reached the Ewaria Continent.

And as usual, he once again checked the small token inscribed with an intricate pattern of a one leaf flower after checking the condition of his disciples with his divine sense and seeing that none of them seemed to need his help.

Well… Almost everyone, as Mui seemed to have found herself in a rather troublesome situation with Elder Song and a few other elders chasing her after she made some kind of modifications to a fountain that had been constructed in a new city that had sprung up at the base of the Third Star Peak.

Outside of that little troublemaker who would soon be caught by Elder Song, there wasn't really anything else of interest taking place when it came to his disciples.

Qing Yi and Chun Hua were working together on some kind of new alchemy recipe, while Bai Ning was unsurprisingly in deep discussion with Gong Cheng on the Dao of Blacksmithing. The only one that stood out aside from Mui, was Chu Yang, who was currently locked in an intense battle with Feng Chen.

Although… Looking at the almost crying expression of the sect master along with the almost overjoyed expression of a few nearby Soul Ascension Realm cultivators, it seemed like his disciple had dragged the old sect master into this battle while those on the side were happy that they had managed to escape this kind of fate. Making it clear that his disciple's interest in combat had ended up making quite a few of these seniors suffer after being dragged away to join him in the Combat Hall.

Back to the matter at hand, Xuan Hao found himself carelessly fiddling with the small token before suddenly freezing after realizing that the intricate pattern on the small token had started giving off a soft green glow at some unknown point in time.

Even if he had no idea about how this small token would help him know when those people from the Fallen Immortal Archipelago arrived, he felt that the token starting to glow should be a rather obvious indication, though it didn't exactly allow him to contact or even know the whereabouts of these senior figures that had been mentioned to him in the past.

But then again, their purpose should be the ancient dao seals, so it shouldn't be that difficult to find them if he paid a visit to those ancient dao seals, something that could be done in a relatively short time with his current comprehension of the Dao of Space. The only somewhat troublesome dao seal being the one that was located inside the Frozen Wastelands, as it didn't have any fixed location and seemed to be jumping all over the place. Making it difficult to track down.

However, the others were still relatively simple to reach with his current strength and should also be the first ones that would be visited by those senior figures from the Fallen Immortal Archipelago.

After all, searching through the Frozen Wasteland was something that even he would find difficult with his current strength, let alone the two senior figures from the Fallen Immortal Archipelago that he expected to either be somewhere between the Dao Seed Realm and the Earlier Stages of Profound Immortal Realm, with the highest strength he expected from them being the Sea Formation Realm.

He could always be wrong, and their strength far exceeded his expectations, but… With how unconfident that old man had seemed in their ability to fix the ancient dao seals, it was clear that they wouldn't be too strong.

To be honest, thinking that they might have reached the Profound Immortal Realm could already be considered a bit of an overestimation of their strength, as the most likely strength of the two would likely be somewhere in the Dao Seed Realm.

But then again, he could always dream, as he genuinely hoped for these people to be powerful. After all, the stronger they were, the higher the likelihood of them having the ability to fix the ancient dao seals or at the very least lend him a hand in attempting to repair them.

Filled with a growing sense of curiosity and anticipation as these thoughts swirled through his mind, Xuan Hao decided now was as good as any time-

Whoosh~

Getting up for the first time in over a week before using the Dao of Space to shuttle through space in the direction of the first and closest ancient dao seal to his current location, the one that had been hidden beneath the Raging Flame Sect that had once been the mortal enemy of the Flying Sword Sect before it was ultimately destroyed.

"Hm… No one here? And no sign of anyone entering the place since I last visited…" However, after reaching the first ancient dao seal, he found no traces of anyone having been there since he had visited the place in the past. The only change he could sense being the ancient dao seal that had now grown significantly weaker compared to the past with several visible cracks now present on the surface of some of the formation symbols.

Without any repairs, it was doubtful that this seal would be able to last for more than a year or two, but even if he wanted to sit down and repair it right at this moment after seeing the awful state of the ancient dao seal below the Raging Flame Sect, he held himself back for now and continued towards the next ancient dao seal in search of the two from the Fallen Immortal Archipelago.

Soon enough finding himself hovering a few hundred meters above a familiar dark red whirlpool in the Burning Mountain Range that served as the third of the ancient dao seals.

Different from the first located beneath the Raging Flame Sect, it was clear that others had also found this dark red whirlpool, though it was also clear that none of those who had encountered this whirlpool that served as the third ancient dao seal recently had been above the Nascent Soul Realm. Making it clear that the two he was looking for shouldn't have come to this ancient dao seal yet either.

Leaving him with one last ancient dao seal to check out, one that was quite a bit farther away compared to these first two. Located beneath the massive river that connected the Blue Sea Empire to the endless ocean in the past before being moved to a mountain range that was still inside the borders of the Blue Sea Empire.

Although… Given the bad state of the first ancient dao seal beneath the Raging Flame Sect, he began to worry about the state of this fourth dao seal, as it was similar to the one beneath the Raging Flame Sect. Only in a far more damage state compared to the latter.

If the one beneath the Raging Flame Sect was already close to breaking in another year or so, the one that had once been beneath the massive river would be in a far worse state. Potentially only a few months or even weeks from breaking, something he hadn't honestly expected considering he had originally been under the belief that he should have had another year or two to strengthen his spiritual sea before he had to worry about repairing those ancient dao seals.

Maybe the arrival of those two from the Fallen Immortal Archipelago isn't entirely a coincidence, but because they sensed that those ancient dao seal wouldn't be able to hold on for much longer…

Narrowing both his eyes in anticipation as he thought this to himself while rapidly approaching a rather desolate section of the Burning Mountain Range inside the Blue Sea Empire that bordered the Onyx Empie, Xuan Hao made sure to keep an eye on the small token he had been given in the past to see if there would be any changes as he got closer.

And… He did indeed notice a clear change taking place, as the gentle green light from the token became brighter the closer, he got to the location of the fourth ancient dao seal. Making him feel certain that he should be able to encounter the two senior figures that had only been mentioned to him in the past.
