Chapter 3960: Hacking
Chapter 3960: Hacking
Indeed, not only did they get the Celestial Soul Dimensional Realm to generate enough Starlight Energy to reach the Peak Stage of the Divinity Realm, but they also got a good bunch of Celestial Points and a promise for new upgrades. Above all, that meant they didn’t need Wisfreya’s life, not that they would have used it anyway.
After hearing the full explanation, Celis immediately took out many of their Divine Stones, throwing them into that Formation.
*Bzzz!*
The Divine Stones disappeared in an instant, their energy bursting and being quickly absorbed by the formation. On the other side, clean, uncompromised Starlight Energy flowed out in significant quantities. Celis immediately extended his roots over that side and could feel the Starlight Energy rushing into his body.
"Hehehe... Hahahahaha!" Celis was ecstatic! "This is great! This is awesome! This is unbelievable!"
Noticing his reaction, Kentucky asked a question. "How much Starlight Energy are you getting from it?"
Celis stopped for a moment, thinking about the Starlight Fruits they got from the Golden Palace. "The Starlight Energy output is on par with the Starlight Fruits, but from the looks of it, this formation can release even more. We just need enough Divine Stones, Rank Nine or above."
Rean nodded. "In this A1 Universe, Rank Seven Divine Stones are the lowest level you can find. Rank Nine should be fairly easy to acquire, as it would be somewhat equivalent, in difficulty of acquisition, to Rank Three back in the Lisan Universe."
Foliana and Tanxan were happy for them. "That’s good. Tanxan and I were the only ones making cultivation advancements in the last decades; we even had a breakthrough each. Now you guys can finally cultivate for real again."
She wasn’t lying. Tanxan reached the Middle Stage of the Space-Time Realm, while Folaina got to the Late Stage. They never had any problems with energy since they didn’t need Starlight Energy. Just the environment of the A1 Universe alone, plus the Celestial Soul Dimensional Realm, Roan’s Laws Pills, and Roan’s cultivation techniques, gave them this incredible burst of cultivation speed.
Roan had his arms crossed, nodding. "So be it. It’s about time for us to graduate, then."
Yes, they were ready for that a long time ago, and only haven’t done it until now because they wanted to stay close to Wisfreya. Let’s not forget that to graduate, you had to reach the Middle Stage of the Space-Bending Realm. Or, you had to reach the age of 300. Of course, they surpassed both, who knows for how long now.
"Sister Orb," Rean called her out. "What about the new upgrades?"
Sister Orb didn’t answer, though.
"Oh, right. The system is adding new options to the upgrade list. Sister Orb won’t be able to talk with us for a while." Rean pulled the Control Orb closer, and he touched it with Roan so they could check it.
[Time: 193:42]
"193 hours to finish the upgrade, uh? That won’t be long," Rean commented. "Still, the system usually tells us when it is going offline for upgrades."
Roan wasn’t concerned. "Maybe it knew we already understood this and didn’t waste our time talking about it. Anyway, during the following week, we will all reach the ’Middle Stage of the Space Bending Realm’ so we can graduate from the Academy."
"Sure..." Foliana understood it. "But what will we do after that?"
"Cultivation should be a priority, but we can’t suddenly have many breakthroughs nonstop," Roan explained. "However, I already have a plan for this. For now, we will graduate but will join the academy as members, like the teachers and elders."
"Hum?" Rean was confused. "Why go through something that boring?"
"Because it won’t be long before Riquicious Empire opens its slots for the Future Realm," Roan explained.
Everyone looked at Roan, puzzled. Riquicious Empire? Future Realm? What was he talking about?
"You don’t really think I wouldn’t have a plan for the huge amount of time of cultivation we needed to pretend to spend, right?" And then, Roan started.
The problem with making a name for themselves from scratch was definitely time. To pretend to go from the Space-Bending Realm Middle Stage all the way to their real cultivation realms, they would need at least a few hundred or maybe a few thousand years or so.
That alone would already be unbelievably fast and extremely suspicious, especially considering their strength. They needed an excuse to get there fast without anyone questioning. So, what better than a place where time runs at a different speed?
Of course, that alone wouldn’t be enough. We can’t forget that once time is accelerated, so are the laws, which makes it harder to comprehend them. However, there are exceptions to this rule, and the Future Realm from the Riquicious Empire was one of such places.
The reason Roan found out about that was actually Rifindio, who was now the F976 Universe Owner. When Rifindio was brought away by Victor Rampel and then back, he was already in the Celestial Realm, and his foundation was fairly solid.
How could he have comprehended all the necessary laws that fast if not in a place where time moved faster? Above all, a place where time moved faster but didn’t impact the laws? So, Roan focused on it when he started his research with Sister Orb.
That’s when he found out about the Future Realm of the Riquicious Empire. He didn’t comment about it with the others since it was too early. Not to mention, they still had to get Wisfreya’s soul and blood, and there was the fact that she definitely wouldn’t go with them because of her attachment to the Verjansy Country.
Also, you couldn’t just go to the Riquicious Empire and try to acquire a slot to enter the Future Realm. There were rules in place, Rules that the Werdlem Empire itself wrote down for such environments, so the Riquicious Empire had to follow them. The Future Realm of Riquicious was only one of such places. You truly couldn’t look down on how much better it was to live in an A-ranked Universe.
"So, this Future Realm is a Dimensional Realm where time runs differently?" Kentucky asked.
"Not quite," which Roan corrected.
The Future Realm didn’t really exist in a different dimension like the Dimensional Realms or even the Celestial Soul Dimensional Realm. Instead, it was a lot closer to the Floating Islands of Time, Kentucky’s Home.
The difference was that the laws there moved at a steady pace, allowing the experts to comprehend them while making use of the accelerated time. How did that work? How did the Future Realm’s time run so much faster and not impact the laws? Roan didn’t know that. Of course, he didn’t care either. What mattered was that it would fit their interests.
Now, for the rules to enter the Future Realm, you would need to register for a slot. But that wasn’t so simple. As anyone could imagine, there was no lack of experts trying to enter the Future Realm. To apply for a slot, you first had to be part of a continental ruling power.
At the moment, the Runia Continent was still a loose bunch of countries without a real ruler. Still, the Runia Continent experts weren’t idiots. They, too, wanted to enjoy the benefits of the Future Realm. Thus, for all intents and purposes, the Divine Military Academy was considered the ruling power of the Runia Continent.
"Alright, so they likely have the right to some slots, is that it?" Rean asked. "But would we get those slots? Don’t forget that only Krue’Suan and Ximao know our real power. Would we get those slots for ourselves? They are bound to be limited."
"That’s the good part," Roan explained. "The rules of the Werdlem Empire imply that each of the continental powers has a set number of slots available every one hundred years, and these slots are separated by cultivation realm. For ’Space-Bending Realm’ cultivators like us, there are twenty slots, ten slots for Elemental Space, and another five for Space-Time, too. As for Divinity, only a single slot is available. We only need six slots, so we should be fine."
"So, it all comes to whether we can fool the Riquicious Empire that we are truly Space-Bending Realm experts, is it?" Kentucky asked.
Rean narrowed his eyes. "It is one thing to fool those watching us with Divine Sense. However, that place is bound to have many formations to check everyone’s cultivation realm. I don’t think our suppression will be enough to stop those formations from finding the truth."
"Yes, and that’s why we are leaving early," Roan knew that. "We will have Sister Orb hacking into those formations. We will leave early so she can have time to analyze them without being caught."
"And if this method doesn’t work?" Tanxan asked.
"If not, we can find another way," and Roan answered.
