Chapter 6398: Am I That Old?
Chapter 6398: Am I That Old?
Tenth-gen Chen was known throughout Old World - the successor of a long secret art. He caught up to Everlasting Jiang and everyone thought Eleventh-gen Chen could become a supreme overlord.
The details aside, none doubted his power. He was not an ordinary primal ancestor and had reached the return path.
Only a few were in this stage so he stood at the top of their world. However, he was defeated by a single palm strike?
Thus, Goldblade stared at Li Qiye in horror, wondering the guy’s true identity. As for Black Wind, his legs trembled for even attempting to rob someone of this level. He could have been crushed like an ant.
“I don’t feel so good.” Everything turned dark and he fell on his face, unconscious.
“Useless.” Goldblade glared at his nephew. Nevertheless, he was terrified by this ordinary-looking youth as well.
There was only one capable of this feat in Desolate Frontier - Desolate Ancestor. However, everyone knew Desolate Ancestor was a woman.
“Senior...” Goldblade wiped his sweat away and bowed.
“Do I look old?” Li Qiye smiled and took a sip of tea.
“...” Goldblade smiled awkwardly and said: “How should I address you then?”
“Young noble is fine.” Li Qiye placed the teacup down and said.
Just him sitting there and speaking casually frightened Goldblade. This was rather strange because he never felt this while facing primal ancestors or heaven-slayers.
“This place...” Li Qiye looked outside at the jagged islands.
“Young Noble, they appeared here and aren’t under our control.” Goldblade said.
“Here, this is Imperial League’s territory isn’t it?” Alch-deer asked.
“Yes.” Goldblade said.
“What’s your goal for surrounding the league?” Alch-deer was surprised to see the location.
Imperial League was a major lineage founded by Ocean-gaze Emperor who originated from Trinity.
He disliked the selection system in Trinity and had too much pride in joining Devil Cult. Therefore, he left Trinity and came to this region to start a lineage.
His goal was to gather like-minded individuals regardless of their origin. A few emperors joined at first. He eventually became a primal ancestor and more joined.
It had a fixed position in Sea of Heavenly Sin. The same couldn’t be said about Isles of Evil.
Although the latter always floated unpredictably, it avoided territories with masters such as Imperial League and the Dugu.
“After a strange flute sound came the fog, we didn’t know what happened before finding ourselves here, now we have to plan accordingly.” Goldblade said.
“Plan accordingly?” Li Qiye stared at him.
“It’s nothing.” Goldblade immediately responded.
“They want to rob Imperial League.” Alch-deer didn’t hold back.
“Nothing weird about my doing what I’ve done my whole life, given the opportunity.” Goldblade paused for a second before arching his chest.
“It’s admirable how you stick to your way.” Alch-deer gave him a thumbs-up.
Goldblade smiled awkwardly and said: “Yes, it is in my blood now.”
“Who’s your target? Ocean-gaze Emperor or Virtuoso Emperor?” Alch-deer asked: “From what I know, Virtuosos Emperor’s parents are Fairy Companions, our progenitor’s disciples.”
“I can’t say.” Goldblade responded.
Both choices were horrible. Ocean-gaze was a primal ancestor already while Virtuouso Emperor was at the apex stage. Most importantly, the latter came from Immortal Bronze Palace.
“Well, let’s see the famous villains first.” Li Qiye said.
Goldblade shuddered after hearing this, not knowing Li Qiye’s purpose.
“Young Noble, a-are you here for revenge?” He asked while cursing Black Wind for bringing this monster here.
