Emperor’s Domination

Chapter 6843: Unwilling To Accept

Chapter 6843: Unwilling To Accept

“How was it before?” Thunder Emperor asked.

“A labyrinth forest giving eternal life, as long as they are willing to be lost forever.” He said.

“A forest, where is it now?” She looked down at the water.

“It’s a good question, it is still below.” Li Qiye sighed.

After the lesson earlier, she didn’t dare pry the water again. However, she was sure there was no forest below.

Li Qiye squatted down and tried to scoop a handful of water with his hand. Alas, he never got any water.

“Interesting.” He stood up and used his will instead, exerting his dominion over this special liquid.

This supreme will didn’t permit refusal, whether it be from a lifeless object or the most special affinity.

“Splash!” The water was dragged up and took the form of a pillar.

“Let me see your true form.” He narrowed his eyes before pointing at it.

It began to shift through a series of colors – red, yellow, blue, green, purple… Eventually, it settled into gold.

The golden water shimmered brightly but upon closer inspection, it was sand. The grains were just so fine that they looked like water.

“Elusive Heavenly Golden Water?” He said: “Unfortunately, I’m someone who has seen the real thing before.”

As he raised his hand, it pulsed with a simple yet unique light. He placed it into the liquid and removed the golden light.

A crystalline radiance replaced the golden hue, adding to the pillar’s beauty. Within its clarity were immortal energies. Each droplet contained infinite mysteries.

“Incredible.” She could tell this was peerless.

“You may call it Elusive Heavenly Immortal Water.” Li Qiye furrowed his brows.

Just the name alone indicated its precious value. She remarked: “Drinking it must have incredible results.”

“Of course.” He said.

“Enough to become an immortal?” She asked.

“Yes.” He smiled: “But it doesn’t stop here.”

Sure enough, the flowing water slowly began to settle. The brilliance turned murky and the immortal energies dissipated.

It turned into a stagnant pool brimming with death. It lingered and entwined those who lay eyes on it.

“Ah!” She staggered backward, feeling wrapped by the unsettling affinity. She thought death was growing from within, supplying death force.

In theory, death should be nothing, so how could there be a death force – the opposite of life force?

“Pop!” Li Qiye waved and shattered the stagnant water.

“That was bizarre.” She turned pale after feeling the death force, not daring to look at the water.

“Still unable to accept death.” Li Qiye frowned before scanning the area again.

“Let’s go.” He pulled her arm and took her along.

She couldn’t measure distance on this flat water. Thus, when he took one step forward, she couldn’t tell how far they had gone.

When they stopped, they saw a colossal figure ahead.
