Epic of Ice Dragon: Reborn As An Ice Dragon With A System

Chapter 2101 - 2101: Aliens

“W-What’s going on?!” Sergeant Toren asked in disbelief. “I thought this was a magical world, and yet you’re creating robots?! Gigantic ones!”

He was shocked with my Kate’s amazing abilities.

“There’s more than simple fantasy magic to it,” I said. “This is an extension of it called Technomancy, my daughter’s specialty. She can create, assemble, combine, and control machines born from her own magical powers.”

“…Unbelievable,” he gasped.

As they saw the machines spreading everywhere, they heard explosions and tremors, they started cleansing the city already, and they were doing it very effectively.

As we nodded, we kept moving, I was done with my Barrier, as I quickly erected it above the entire city, monsters inside won’t be able to run away though, but that’s for the better, they’ll get killed quickly.

Once we reached the base, we were greeted with more tanks and jets flying above us, while there were even huge machineguns pointing at us, they weren’t trying to make this easy…

“Don’t worry about them, I’ve already told them the news, let’s go.”

The Sergeant guided me, as we entered the protected area, I was only allowed with my daughter, as we were too huge and too big of a group to get anywhere else, I nodded to Benladann, as she stayed behind with everyone else.

“Well this place sure is flashy and interesting~” Yuki said while looking around. “So a planet of just humans, huh? That’s even crazier than Zipangu.”

“I find it interesting…” Pekora said.

“Yeah, I mean it’s a planet of weaklings I guess, but they did create all those weapons without magic, it’s commendable,” Tisha nodded.

“I am still trying to process everything myself… but then again, at this point, I guess we’ve seen crazier things,” Ruby said. “Right mom?”

“Indeed, let’s consider this something like a touristic trip!” she said with a nod.

“Hah, well, I hope the humans get their place restored, imagine suddenly getting stranded into a completely alien world against your will… I wouldn’t want that fate,” Rakasha said.

As I heard them having a conversation while the soldiers were sweating in fear while trying to watch over them, we entered the military base with the Sergeant, bypassing several security checks with his authority and ultimately walking downstairs.

With Benladra we barely fit in here, and that was using our smallest most compact forms of around three meters and a half, we were taller before.

“Wow, this place is interesting, I’ve never seen architecture of this level before, and there’s light and technology without magic? How?” Benladra asked.

“Seems you still have some energy reserves working?” I asked.

“It should last for a month or so,” the Sergeant sighed. “But that won’t be enough… we’ve got Solar Panels for more energy, but they aren’t even that good either.”

“Hm, helping you get magic technology would be too hard to adapt to your current things, and I bet you don’t want them to go to waste…” I said. “I could, however, ask Kate to create electricity generators as well, which once connected to, can lend you energy without problems.”

“Really…? Can your daughter do such miracles as well?” the sergeant asked.

“Kate is awesome, she can do even more than that!” Benladra nodded.

“I am also capable of some technomancy, but she was born with the power… I hate relying on her though, she’s just a child, but she loves to help,” I laughed lightly.

“I see… you’re a good father,” Sergeant Toren nodded with a smile, as the soldiers nearby glared at him weirdly because of how casually he spoke to me. “Um, and here we are, past this door…”

“W-what is this sir?!”

“You brought aliens?!”

The soldiers that were protecting the gate leading to the underground shelter panicked as they saw the two of us.

“We’ve managed to contact intelligent inhabitants of this world, and they claim to be reincarnated from Earth. They spoke to me about various things, I couldn’t help but believe them,” sighed Toren. “I’ll hold responsibility if the worst happens, but please, believe me… they’re goo.”

The soldiers looked at one another, and then at me and my daughter, who smiled at them gently.

“Hi!” she said, waving her hand.

“…”

“…”

The soldiers looked at one another and then opened the door silently, as we went into the large shelter, where we saw dozens of tents spread through a very large, wide underground area.

There were people everywhere, humans, modern humans, wearing modern clothes too, it was almost surreal to see Earth Humans and their “ordinary” appearances after living here for years.

It felt more like fantasy than fantasy itself…

And it finally made me wonder…

Could I find my family among them?

No… they didn’t live in Texas I guess.

But maybe in another place…

Although perhaps it would be for the better if that never happens, their lives would be at terrible risk if they suddenly landed here.

“W-What is that?!”

“Giant blue people?!”

“They have scales…”

“Mama who are they?”

“Run!”

“Sergeant why are you bringing them here?!”

The people started screaming in horror, running away as we stepped forward, our appearances, so normal to us were perhaps very scary to them… maybe even ugly or horrifying.

“They’re so scared…” Benladra said. “Please don’t worry! We came to heal you.”

“Get back monsters!”

An old man suddenly threw a half-empty alcohol bottle at my daughter, which I quickly reflected with my tail.

CRASH!

As the bottle hit the walls and shattered into pieces, the people panicked even more…

The Sergeant ant the soldiers stepped forward.

“People! Calm down! This is not what you think! These are intelligent people from this world! They have offered, in their kindness, to heal the sick and wounded… and if you don’t believe them, then they will now show you their sincerity.”

As he looked at us, he pointed into the left side of this large shelter where white tents were located, and where doctors and nurses constantly walked from in and out, it was huge, with perhaps over a hundred people in there.
