Eternal Cultivation Of Alchemy

Chapter 2603 - 2603: The Final Day

“This will be my final lesson, so learn carefully.”

The ones who learned about herbs from him were gathered on the morning of the day when Alex was to leave.

The entire tribe knew by now of his departure and was saddened that the day had come so soon.

Soon was still three months long.

Alex found it strange that it had been three months since he had come to Hell. Three months since the Gods took it upon themselves to decide on a fate that they didn’t even know would come true.

After teaching the ones who would’ve become alchemists under a different scenario, he left to teach the fighters.

In the three months, everyone had become strong. But none had improved as much as Wushu had. After constantly pushing himself at every moment in his cultivation, in just three months, he had already entered the True realm.

He was the only one in the tribe that was now in that realm and thus the only one who could use the Qi absorption technique for True realm cultivators.

The technique he gave them all was the Winter Moon cultivation technique. It was the one his master had given him long ago, a Yin-cultivation technique that would be perfect for these people.

He also gave them a few other cultivation techniques, but it was unlikely anyone would use anything else since Yin was such an important resource for these people.

Alex was a little dejected that he couldn’t teach them so many other techniques and aspects of cultivation. Qi had such a wide scope of application, and these people would likely not realize that for a long time.

They didn’t know Alchemy, Formations, Artifacts, Runes and Scripts, and so many other things. Alex didn’t have the time or the resources to teach them all of that. In just the short three months, he had done enough with what he had.

It was a shame that all they knew were a few fighting techniques. Still, what he taught them would help them a lot.

Creating fire, ice, wind, and other elements through their Qi would come in handy for them.

There was nothing left for him to teach as it was, so his time with the fighters was simply nothing but conversations about different things. Now that he was leaving, they all wanted to know more about where he had come from and how he knew all of these things.

Sadly, Alex couldn’t tell them anything at all. They wouldn’t understand.

His time with the Baylords had been fun. He had taught them a lot and learned a lot from them as well. While with them, he had improved a lot as well.

So many things had happened in the past three months, so many answers. However, there was still one question he didn’t have an answer to.

How did these people get physically stronger?

Sure, it was likely from eating those fishes in the ocean, but why would that make them stronger? It was not as though they had a physique for it, or they cultivated a strange technique.

They simply improved on their own.

Truthfully, he didn’t even know if it was the fish or not. It could be herbs, or the air, or the water. It could be nothing at all. He simply didn’t know.

The only thing he did know was that whatever the reason was, they slowly improved their body cultivation without actually focusing on it, and that made Alex wonder if he too could get stronger.

He was physically already halfway through the Immortal Origin realm, so it would probably take a long time for him to see any effects of being in Hell, if there was one.

The day passed with everyone preparing for Alex’s departure. Just like the first day he arrived in this place, his final day here would also be a festival.

This one would be much bigger than the last one.

Tara caught a massive fish, much larger than the one showcased on his wedding day, for the festival. His fear of the sea had disappeared now after spending so many weeks with Alex and getting stronger every second.

His one fear of the sea was that he would drown, just like his father. However, with his current cultivation base, he could go up to an hour underwater without having to breathe at all.

His fighting skills also made him quite strong, so mere fishes weren’t much of an enemy for him, despite their superior cultivation base.

As evening fell, everyone gathered at the center of the beach where a large bonfire was prepared, the fish from the afternoon now hanging around near the flame for anyone to enjoy when it was cooked.

Drums were brought out, and people began drumming on the side. Some sang, some danced.

Mili dragged Alex to the center to dance along with all despite his refusal. Soon, he was forced to dance along with everyone. That only made the festival much more cheerful.

The rest joined one after another, and soon there were none that didn’t dance. Singing and dancing and eating and laughing and enjoying—no one realized how quickly time passed.

It wasn’t until the sky grew purple in the east that they finally realized that they had danced through the night.

Only then did the festival finally end.

The happy atmosphere soon became damp as people realized it was time for Alex to leave. Tears filled many eyes.

“Do you need to prepare anything?” the chief asked Alex.

“No, all I need I have already,” Alex said. He had it ready weeks ago. He had simply been delaying the inevitable.

“Then… I suppose this is farewell.”

The tribe gathered at the base of the mountain that Alex was going to climb now.

Alex looked at all the faces he had come to be familiar with in the past three months.

To an Immortal, three months should have been no time at all, and yet, he would remember so much of it.

“Everyone, this is it from me,” Alex said. “I have already said what I needed to say, so if fate has it, I will meet you all again.”

“Goodbye.”

He left.
