Chapter 3177 Divine Sense
Chapter 3177 Divine Sense
Alex knew a few recipes for a pill similar to what he had made. He also knew that someone had to have come up with a recipe using almost all the same ingredients as he had too.
So this pill was not something unique. If not for the lack of ingredients, he would’ve even just used those pre-existing recipes. Only, he had to make do with what he had.
However, just because the pill existed before didn’t mean that they had ever been made to work in a place like his mind.
At Immortal Transcendent 1st realm, Alex’s spiritual sense was about as strong as an early Divinity. A Divine Sense’s quality made it hard to judge exactly, but if pure mental strength were to be counted, he was no weaker than a Divine Creation 3rd realm cultivator.
And that was not including the fact that whatever he had done during the missing 50 years had improved the amount of his spiritual sea by more than twice.
That was to say that Alex had strong spiritual energy, and he had a lot of it.
And since that wasn’t enough to sense whatever was going on in the pool, he was making it stronger.
As the changes began before him, Alex ate the pill.
Within seconds he could feel the changes inside his spiritual sea, as if a raging tempest had burrowed its way in there and made it its home.
Alex didn’t even have to look into his spiritual sea to tell what was happening. The entire sea was raging as it was moved by the
tempestuous energy. The sea from all sides churned, growing smaller by the second.
They collected and improved, temporarily, as Alex’s spiritual energy became stronger and stronger.
What was before only comparable to Divine Creation 3rd realm was now reaching 5th realm and growing. It grew to 6th realm, and then the 7th, and finally the 8th.
And it would’ve likely stopped there had it not been for the massive size that was Alex’s spiritual sea. It continued to grow even stronger, reaching equivalent to the 9th realm, and even a tad bit more.
What was left in the end was a pond where it had previously been a sea. But the spiritual energy inside that pond was strong enough to make a Divine Manifestation 1st realm cultivator think twice.
Alex opened his eyes as the changes settled, the spiritual energy coming off him now far stronger and sharper than before, to the point that he felt as if he had been working with a dull mind previously.
His senses allowed him to sense things in a much better capacity than before.
Immediately, Alex reeled all of his spiritual senses into his body, not wishing to waste a tiny hint of it. With just a pond’s worth of spiritual sense at his disposal, he would burn through it in no time if he were to let it move freely.
He needed to make each drop of that pond count.
So, when the snake went from pain to calm once again, Alex finally let his senses release from his spiritual sea and go for the snake.
He had to be extremely careful on this part, mostly because he was stronger than he was before and his control over his senses wasn’t as fine-tuned. Any mishap could make it worse for the snake.
He laid his senses on its body gently, hoping to see what sort of changes were happening.
What he hadn’t expected was to find a Divine Sense actively going through its body.
Alex’s eyes widened sharply, unsure where the Divine Sense was coming from. He barely managed to trace its way back to the statue
when the Divine Sense turned its attention toward him.
A tremendous spiritual attack flew out of the snake statue at once, slamming onto his mind. Half his pool’s energy vanished in just that one hit, and the statue wasn’t done just yet.
If Alex let himself get hit again, he would be knocked out completely. He gave up all reservations regarding the two Saint beasts and immediately poured yang out of his body, burning away the senses before they could attack.
He took deep breaths, mind struggling to come up with any explanation as fear alone gripped it for the moment. The pain of losing half his spiritual energy in one hit wasn’t small either. He was barely doing everything to stop from crying out in pain.
The panic took a moment to subside before the questions came
flooding in. Why was there another Divine Sense in the room? Why was it coming from the statue? Was it the thing that was stopping the snake from dying?
Alex calmed down slowly, the yang still overflowing to stop any more attacks. Truthfully speaking, he didn’t even know if this could stop the Divine Senses from launching an attack. He could only sit and wait, and hope he was safe.
‘Is this why I needed a strong sense?” Alex thought. ‘To realize there was another Divine Sense in here? And it was coming from the statue no less. Is the other statue the same?’
Alex was only just beginning to theorize what was happening when his face paled. The yang in his body was slowly pushed back, flowing
back into his body outside of his accord.
It took him only a moment to realize what was happening.
‘Intent!’ he thought. ‘It’s using Intent to suppress my yang!
Alex gulped in abject horror as he couldn’t even try to fight back. That would only result in the same issue of him using up the pond of
energy and falling unconscious.
All he could do was wait and see what happened next.
The pain Alex expected never came. What came instead was a single
message.
“Who are you?”
It was a masculine voice.
Before Alex could answer, another Divine Sense landed on him, it too
carrying a different question.
“And why do you have the aura of the Sun God?”
