Chapter 3345 A New Realm
Chapter 3345 A New Realm
Nothing but lava surrounded Alex on all sides as he stood far above the main island. The smog had weakened a lot since the early days, allowing for much-enhanced visibility of the surrounding area. Not that it did him much good at all.
Scarlet, Whisker, and Shumi gathered around him as well. The older Alex and Emily, as well as the Playground, had been placed back into his Soul Space, arriving back where it used to be.
Alex stared down at the massive island, the last task remaining for him while still in this realm.
“Ray,” he called out softly.
Ray appeared in a blaze next to him, remaining afloat with wisps of yellow flame rising from his body.
“Is there anything else left for me to do?” he asked. “Have I taken in all the other islands and places available under your control?”
The crow remained silent for a bit, looking around. “The sea of lava is technically under my control too. It runs through a formation that I keep active at all times. If you wish for it, you can take as much of it away as well.”
Alex considered the proposal shortly before dismissing it. “There’s no point for me to take away the lava. There’s no spirit veins or anything under there, right?”
“If there was one, it was destroyed the day my legs made the mark in this world,” Ray said. “There is nothing of worth left to take away.”
“So… only this island remains,” Alex said with a nod. “Let’s not waste any more time then.”
Alex lifted his palm forward, placing the egg-sized spatial pocket at a distance away from him. His spiritual sense erupted outside of his mind, far stronger than normal thanks to a pill he ate, and
immediately surrounded the entire island at once.
Once the entire island was under his senses, Alex employed the Dao of Teleportation on the entire thing.
In a flash, the island vanished into the spatial pocket, leaving behind a world of emptiness down where it previously used to be. Lava surged out of the way to fill up that vacuum, quickly covering it.
Alex held onto the heavy-yet-light spatial pocket, feeling the intense energy within it even when he was just holding it. If there was someone other than Ray that could control this energy, Alex might’ve been reluctant to take in this piece of land, but since there was no danger, he didn’t worry.
With a thought, the spatial pocket flew into his Soul Space, where he felt it settle next to the new massive realm.
That was just the first part of the job, so Alex focused on the next part, which was merging the two islands.
This was the largest merge Alex was going to make just yet, but somehow, he wasn’t worried in the slightest.
“Ray, go and handle the realm just in case I make a mistake,” Alex said, calling to the remnant Primordial.
“Yes, master,” Ray said, disappearing into his Soul Space, arriving within the spatial pocket where the island with the mountain lay. He appeared within the massive amount of energy that one could not simply comprehend, and began taking control over it to stop it from giving Alex a difficult time.
Alex was certain Ray would pose no threat to him, but he had still been a little worried. So when Ray entered, he was ready to pull him back out just in case. Thankfully, his first thought turned out to be the correct one.
Because of their bond, Ray’s presence wasn’t a burden for him. With that determined, Alex moved to merging the two lands. That
didn’t take as much effort as he had thought it would. Despite the two spatial pockets being much larger than anything Alex was used to, the overall idea about the merging was the same.
So long as the two pockets came in contact on just a small cross-section, he could snap open that cross-section and let the two spaces move into each other.
The sudden merging of space caused some disorder in the objects within that space, but with Ray there, Alex didn’t even have to bother with it.
The moment the two secret realms merged into one, Ray grabbed onto everything with a strong hold, safely letting the two pieces of land merge with each other. Not only that, Alex could feel the spatial walls of the secret realm grow stronger with Ray’s presence there. “Master,” Ray called out. “These lands are too thin. I suggest using some of the lava to cover the underside of these lands, make it whole.” Alex raised an eyebrow. “Use the lava as glue? That’s not a bad idea.”
He immediately did as he was advised, filling the lower portion of the secret realm with lava that would slowly harden over time, turning into a strong foundation for the new realm.
Once finished, Alex pulled away his spiritual sense, simply viewing the new realm from up above.
It didn’t look that good just yet. It was a little too barren outside of the original Demon Realm and the poison islands. There were some places with water, but not a lot. He would have to slowly fix it all, remodel the entire thing to fit him.
And even with all that, floating alone in the void with nothing else surrounding it, it was one of the most incredible things he had ever
seen.
“Do you guys wanna go see?” Alex asked the group.
Everyone immediately nodded, entering his Soul Space. Each one
stared at the new realm with wide eyes.
Scarlet flew around, searching through everything. Whisker ran around, trying to get a feel of the new world.
Shumi flew next to the World Tree, looking all around from the vantage point it provided.
There wasn’t much here just yet, but she could see the potential in this. With the primordial’s energy and the personal involvement of many others, this could soon become one of the greatest places to stay in among all the other realms.
