“Hehehe! My children, I’ve returned!”, an elegant yet seductive voice spread throughout the continent.

After a chuckle, her figure fell from the sky, gently landing outside the capital.

Her place of descent happened to coincide with the place where the Pope, Duke Dandelion, and the Beast Emperor had previously fought.

But by now, only ruins and devastation remained there.

Duke Dandelion had died, and his body had been completely wiped out, while the Beast Emperor had hastily escaped after his sudden betrayal.

“It’s been a long, long time. This world has changed greatly since I last saw it.”, the Zerg Hive muttered, and her gaze landed on the Pope.

“It seems that my gift has proved useful. This world has become a grand pasture.”, she said and licked her lips.

Under her piercing eyes, the Pope couldn’t help but freeze in place.

Facing this terrifying enemy, who, according to the Church’s books was the enemy of the whole world, he wanted to resist.

But he discovered that it was impossible. The Life Force coursing throughout his body and the Life Seed staying on his abdomen refused to obey his commands.

In his senses, they seemed to resonate with the woman standing not far away, as if she were their true master.

Seeing this, a horror flashed in his eyes, replaced by a look of determination soon after.

Gritting his teeth, the Pope decided to end his own life.

However, just when he was about to blow up his Life Seed and go out with a bang, his eyes grew hazy.

The next second, they turned completely empty, like the eyes of a puppet.

Mechanically, he knelt on one knee and stared at the Zerg Hive piously.

“My Queen!”, he uttered, as if he were this woman’s most loyal servant.

A smile appeared on the Zerg Hive’s face. But it quickly vanished.

The next moment, she clenched her hand tightly and turned it into a fist.

Instantly, the body of the Pope exploded, turning into pure red energy and firing towards her.

Opening her mouth, the Zerg Hive devoured this energy before licking her lips.

At a speed visible to the naked eye, her aura grew stronger.

After her eyes narrowed in satisfaction, the Zerg Hive turned her head again.

This time, her gaze landed on Liora, who also happened to be facing in her direction.

“I didn’t expect that another Devil has descended to this world.”

“You seem quite young, but your strength is quite extraordinary.”, the Zerg Hive chuckled as a grin flashed across her face and she slowly stepped towards the capital.

Her movements failed to escape Liora’s senses.

From the moment the Zerg Hive had escaped her prison, her full focus had been on her.

Ignoring the reason behind her escape for now, she hurriedly analyzed the current situation.

Soon, she couldn’t help but breathe out a sigh of relief.

Perhaps due to the long-term prison sentence, the Zerg Hive was not as powerful as imagined.

Her strength was only equivalent to a Lesser Devil, and even after she devoured the Pope, she only reached the peak of this stage.

This was better than expected.

However, Liora knew better than to underestimate her.

This was not only a being who was a True Devil in the past, but was also a member of the infamous Zerg race.
