First Demonic Dragon

Chapter 1109: Oh, By The Way…

Chapter 1109: Oh, By The Way…

A couple of days later, the group had gotten relatively adjusted to their new normal.

For twelve hours a day, Ayaana was fused together with the ten wives and Possibility.

As soon as the girls’ time was up, they split without warning. They decided when they wanted to fuse again and were stuck that way until time ran out.

The family learned these things the hard way when ten women miraculously spilled out of a bed that was meant for four at the maximum.

The girls retained full memory of the things they did while fused, and even recalled sensations with perfect clarity. It was more comfortable than they thought.

They described it a bit like having your body on autopilot.

Life negotiated a better deal with Sif and Izanami than Possibility did; claiming seventeen hours of a twenty-four-hour day.

At first, Sif was quite angry about this and felt immensely taken advantage of, but after spending a few days together, she had gotten more used to it.

There were some slight kinks, but really they were a small price to pay for a bit more security for their family.

Abaddon and a few of the others were lying across the edge of the bed and watching Odie’s attempt to put barrettes in her brother’s hair.

Judging by K’ael’s face, he wasn’t all that thrilled about it. But their parents had already bribed him with room service to keep him calm.

Suddenly, Zahara came rushing into the bedroom with an unusually big smile on her face.

“How much do all of you love me?”

Abaddon was immediately scared to answer. Whether it was his kids or his wives, whenever someone began a conversation with that line, he usually ended up doing something he didn’t want to.

“Babe, I literally heard your heart drop from here.”

“N-No you didn’t.”

“Abaddon!”

As he tried to come up with a defense, the dragon felt movement come from underneath him.

Ayaana popped her head out from underneath the covers like a groundhog. Abaddon didn’t even notice that she had replaced Tatiana.

Neither he nor Zahara even reacted to the change and continued their conversation like nothing unnatural had happened.

“I’ve decided where I want to build our new home. In the city!” Zahara beamed.

Ayaana and Abaddon stared at her questionably.

“…You don’t like the idea?” Zahara poured her lips.

“It’s not necessarily that, but I thought you liked us having our own little corner of the world for ourselves?” Ayaana tilted her head.

“I-I do, but gods! Haven’t you felt it lately? Our lands have so much life and vibrancy within them! The people sing and dance, they laugh and frolic, fight and battle! It is all so wonderfully intoxicating!”

Zahara spun around the room like a ballerina as she swooned. Her eyes were bright gold and her smile was somewhat delirious.

She flopped on the edge of the bed and stared up at her lovers with mild desperation in her eyes.

“Our home can still be our safe haven away from the world, but I want our people to be able to see us! To know that we are there for them and feel their love for us firsthand while we still have the opportunity!”

Zahara clapped her hands together. “So can we please-”

Ayaana peeled back the collar of Zahara’s shirt.

She stared at her new piercings for a couple of seconds without saying a word.

“…Okay.” She finally decided.

“…That’s it?”

Ayaana pulled out her phone and took a picture before letting her shirt go.

“Uh-huh. I don’t need much more reason than that, honey.”

Abaddon wished he could say that he didn’t understand, but he was in the exact same boat.

Zahara somehow convinced him to eat a tomato sandwich yesterday in the bath. He hated tomatoes.

His love for body art was becoming a grueling weakness.

Ayaana rolled over and closed her eyes.

“I guess I can start on construction today… righttt after I close my eyes for a little bit.”

“You literally just got here.” Zahara pursed her lips.

“Possibility has shared an uncountable number of eons’ worth of exhaustion with me. Believe me, I need this more than words can convey.” A sleep mask covered Ayaana’s eyelids and she settled her body in direct sync with her husband’s.

With Ayaana slowly dozing off, Zahara turned to Abaddon.

He cupped her face in his hand and smiled at her.

“No complaints from me… I think you’ve sold the idea quite well.”

“Are you only agreeing because of my chest too?”

“No.” He shook his head. “…But I mean, it doesn’t exactly hurt either.”

Zahara felt quite powerful. Who knew the power of such a small addition would give her this much influence with her partners?

A mischievous glint shone in her eye as she began to wonder just how far she could push things.

“You know… there’s something else I maybe want to do~”

“Odie, take your brother outside and-”

“No, not that.” Zahara smiled. “Just something for later. But I want you to say you’ll agree to it right now!”

“That’s totally not sketchy at all.”

“Pleaseeeee!!!” Zahara held his hand against her face. “I really think you’ll like it if you just give it a try!”

“I’m questioning that a bit.”

Zahara moved her hand from her face to underneath her shirt.

Abaddon’s entire body stiffened.

“…This is not fair.”

“I’m desperate.” Zahara admitted.

Ayaana suddenly lifted up her mask unprovoked.

“Since we’re asking for things, I think it’s time we talk about putting the children in schools. Now that they’re cousins are gone there’s a 64% chance of their social skills decaying before they come back.”

This quickly got both Abaddon and Zahara’s attention.

“I suppose we could enroll K’ael in a school in Tehom, but Odie is…” Zahara bit her lip.

“Finding her an accommodation would be a little bit worrisome right now. There’s too much going on.” Abaddon said bitterly.

Ayaana lay back down and covered her eyes again. A slight yawn escaped her voice as she pulled the covers up to her neck.

“We could always place her within a school in Thea’s realm. It’s human populated, and powers are not uncommon. But.. *yawn* I’m 94% certain that Percival is dead, so the danger may not be as high as you both think…”

It was as if a bomb had gone off in the room.

Abaddon and Zahara leaped onto Ayaana and shook her like a tree in a hurricane.

“Wake up! You wake up right now!”

“You can’t just say something like that and go to sleep after!”

Ayaana whined. “Noooo… please, let me sleep..!”

“”Ayaana!!””

Cursing her decision to say something, Ayaana begrudgingly sat up and ripped off her mask.

“Gods, I’ve been running the odds since I’ve been alive, okay? If he was hit by your flames, then there is a 98.72% chance that was the cause of the explosion.”

“But you, I mean Lillian, never felt him die, so-”

“There’s a 99.04% chance that Percival was on the verge of death after being hit full contact. If that is the case, we know that Percival was housing at least two other souls in his body. As you both know, storing and enslaving weaker souls within yourself isn’t necessarily difficult, but-”

“If you’re ever in a weakened enough state, they can revolt and take over…” Abaddon was hit full force by the revelation.

“And who ever said pretty men weren’t smart?” Ayaana kissed his cheek.

Abaddon felt a bit like he was being patronized, but he had no way to prove it.

“So assuming that he’s dead, who took all of that power? Lucifer or Michael?” Zahara asked.

Ayaana’s brow furrowed. “…57% chance it’s Lucifer.”

“…Those odds are much lower than I expected.” Zahara admitted.

Ayaana wasn’t exactly happy that she couldn’t reach a more solid conclusion either.

“Given their personalities, Lucifer has the edge over his brother. He is vindictive and wouldn’t hesitate to kill his own child if scorned. That could also explain why Michael hasn’t turned up, as he is still being held hostage, just by a new master. I don’t believe the devil would ever willingly let his brother go.”

“And the odds that it’s Michael..? What are they based on?”

Ayaana slicked back her hair as she manifested a small cup of tea for her to sip.

“His status as an angel, as God’s second-favorite son, and his personality. If Michael suddenly overcame Percival the chances of him being corrupted by that much demonic power are 89.99%.

In the rare event that he wasn’t, he would be in a constant struggle not to succumb to new and dark urges. That could be another reason for why he has yet to turn up.

Someone like him would believe staying out of sight and unseen is the noble thing to do. If he is locked away with the demons, he can be their warden or their executioner. The chances of either are split down the middle.”

Abaddon and Zahara were stupefied. Listening to Ayaana’s theories in real time was quite impressive.

She was every bit as smart as she was beautiful. Her partners were in complete awe of her.

Just as they thought their attraction couldn’t get any higher, they were swiftly proven wrong.

“…Can I go back to bed now?” Ayaana finished her tea and had already started to lie back down.

“Ah… s-sure.”

“I-I might do stuff to you in your sleep.” Zahara had no idea what else she was supposed to do with all of the feelings raging inside of her.

“You have my consent.” Ayaana kissed them both affectionately before she rolled over and started to doze off.

Abaddon and Zahara simply stared at her in shock before turning to each other. There were few words that adequately conveyed their feelings. Intelligence and competency were very attractive.

What would this wonderful woman they married think of next?

“…Oh, and by the way, I’m pretty sure I figured out where Hastur is hiding. We can talk about it when I wake up.”

Abaddon and Zahara felt their jaws fall open. They had the same thought at once.

“”Kids, go find grandmas.””
