An Lin’s eyes twinkled and then she smiled in response.

Qin Mu gently curled his lips into a smile, walked over to her desk, and reached out to help her tidy up the pile of documents, “I originally wanted to refuse him, but he insisted over the phone that I must come and even got Jinchen to persuade me.”

“Is Tang Yang trying to chase after my cousin?”

An Lin stopped her actions and looked up at Qin Mu.

The voice on the phone was Luo Haofeng’s.

“Ah, I’m just checking if Uncle Qin’s injury is better.”

“Still recovering, these things don’t heal in three to five days. Are you in City B or out on a trip again?”

“I’m in G City, arrived half an hour ago. Just heard from Ah Kai that Uncle Qin transferred back to A City, so I figured I’d call you.”

Qin Mu frowned, “If you have time, you can visit A City to check in, as I haven’t returned home myself and am not very clear on things.”

When it comes to his brothers, Qin Mu is not polite.

“Precisely, so don’t let me receive your calls at night,” Qin Mu said and directly turned off his phone.

An Lin widened her eyes in surprise, “You actually told him?”

“What’s there to hide?”

On the other end, Luo Haofeng blinked at his phone for quite a while before regaining his senses.

Seeing him staring blankly at the phone screen, Gu Kai and Mo Xiuchen couldn’t help but chuckle.

Finally, it was Mo Xiuchen who knocked on the glass of the table in front of Luo Haofeng, “Ah Feng, what’s got you dazed?”
