Fang Heng slowly lowered his hand, focusing his gaze on the bronze gates ahead.

"Fang, you’re incredible—handled that in no time," Zane said, now returning to his normal form beside Fang Heng. He swallowed nervously, his eyes scanning the gate entrance with excitement. "Shall we take a look inside?"

Fang Heng did not respond, merely extending his hand to stop Zane from speaking further.

"Boom!"

The next moment, a tremendous crash echoed from the other side of the bronze gates, the enormous vibration shaking the entire passage violently.

A commanding voice rang out from beyond the gate.

"Who dares to trespass into the forbidden lands of the God Clan?"

Before Fang Heng could answer, the heavy sound of footsteps echoed from within the bronze gates.

The gates slowly began to open from the inside.

Two bronze giants, nearly fifteen meters tall and wielding massive crescent-shaped blades, stepped out from the gates, their gaze fixed on Fang Heng.

Almost simultaneously, a group of twenty or so high-tier spawns martial artists from the lizard race arrived, turning a corner from the stairs.

"Wait! Don’t go further!"

The Blue Lizard elder grabbed a younger clan member who was about to pursue, raising his head to look at the two bronze giants radiating terrifying coercion. His heart raced, and his face mirrored the shock.

Those things...

God War Puppets!

The spawns had somehow acquired War God Puppets from the God Clan?

The War God Puppets regarded Fang Heng and Zane from a superior position, their voices deep and commanding, "Aliens, this is the territory protected by the Gods. Leave now. This is your final warning."

Fang Heng studied the automatons carefully.

He sensed no trace of lifeblood or ripple from the soul constructs.

Mechanical beings?

No, that wasn’t it.

Why could these soul constructs emit such strong coercion?

A special domain generated by sheer physical strength?

He had never seen anything like it.

The strength of the domain released by the War God Puppets was not extreme, but it was far stronger than that of the spawns’ high-tier martial artists enhanced through the Helium research program.

And they seemed intelligent enough.

In the main control room, Valentin viewed this through the spirit projection and was overjoyed.

Fortunate!

The God Clan had left War God Puppets to guard the cave!

No wonder the grand consul had not panicked like him, instead staying calm and awaiting reinforcements. They had been prepared all along.

He should have said so earlier!

Valentin immediately pressed the communicator and ordered the Blue Lizard martial artists, "Those are War God Puppets left by the God Clan. Seek their aid to eliminate the intruders. Go now!"

The twenty or so spawns martial artists hesitated, confused, but instinctive fear rose in them as they glanced at Fang Heng standing opposite the War God Puppets.

Valentin threatened them, "Go now! Otherwise, none of you will receive the next batch of Helium experimental potions!"

One high-tier martial artist gritted his teeth, leaping from the shadows to a position behind Fang Heng, kneeling on one knee before the War God Puppets. "Sir, we are martial artists recruited by the spawns. These two are intruders. Please capture them immediately!"

The two War God Puppets slowly turned their heads, their gaze settling on Fang Heng.

Fang Heng continued to look up at the automatons.

This time, the God’s Eye in his right pupil spun rapidly, reflecting their forms.

Not robots, not mere spiritual bodies.

He was curious how the God Clan controlled these War God Puppets.

The God’s Eye could perceive through layers.

Fang Heng’s vision gradually revealed the structure and weaknesses of the automatons.

Oh?

Through occultism and psychic methods?

Unknowingly, under the influence of the God’s Eye, the eyes of the War God Puppets began displaying rotating magic arrays.

What the...?

Zane was the first to notice the anomaly, his heart jolting. He quickly looked at Fang Heng.

What?!

Was he trying to seize control of the War God Puppets?

And it seemed to be working.

Even Fang Heng hadn’t expected the automatons to gradually come under his influence through the God’s Eye.

Of course!

Fang Heng realized.

These constructs were created by the God Clan, and his right-eye God’s Eye originated from the God Clan’s royal family.

Perfectly matched.

He could use the God’s Eye to control them.

Fang Heng immediately activated his psychic power.

The War God Puppets’ eyes gradually became hazy.

Almost there.

Fang Heng sensed a spiritual connection to the automatons and extended his hand, pointing lightly toward the kneeling martial artists behind him.

Huh!?

The spawns martial artists, praying for the automatons to act, froze as the War God Puppets stepped past Fang Heng and instead advanced toward them, triggering alarm.

No good!

Whoosh!

In the next instant, the giant crescent blades slashed through the air, leaving a dark streak.

What’s happening?

The War God Puppets had turned against them?

The intruder was clearly Fang Heng!

The spawns martial artists narrowly avoided the attack, unleashing their life potential and fleeing frantically toward the corner behind them.

The Blue Lizard patriarch was also startled by the automaton’s actions, reacting immediately. "Run!"

The martial artists scrambled backward as the War God Puppets pursued them.

What was going on?

The Blue Lizard elder and his high-tier subordinates ran desperately up the stairs, utterly confused.

The War God Puppets belonged to the God Clan, shouldn’t they be protecting the spawns?

Fang Heng was the intruder!

Why were the automatons chasing them?

The martial artists couldn’t comprehend the situation and called headquarters through their communicators. "Headquarters! What’s happening!?"

Only silence answered.

The War God Puppets were enormous, each step covering over ten meters, closing in on the fleeing high-tier martial artists at incredible speed.

Seeing the last few about to be caught, one martial artist shouted, "Damn it! I’ll fight him!"

He sensed the approaching slash, extended his domain power outward, and raised a solid earth barrier from the ground, towering over ten meters to block the automatons’ path.

"Boom!!!"

The falling crescent blades shattered the barrier instantly.

Debris exploded on impact with the automatons, but it barely affected the war god constructs.

How could this be?!

The martial artist’s eyes widened in shock.

His domain power had been completely nullified by the bronze giants.
