Chapter 3381: Earth Jar

Whoosh!

The five members of the God Clan simultaneously condensed a mark in front of them.

A seal!

Eugene, as the world guardian, naturally understood that in the Netherworld environment, the Soul Binder possessed abilities equivalent to indestructibility.

Actively attacking would only be a waste of time.

The only option was to seal it!

Eugene felt somewhat relieved.

Fortunately, they had brought along two extra helpers this trip, otherwise sealing the Soul Binder would have been even more troublesome.

Holy light swirled and condensed around them, and immediately a pentagram imprint quickly appeared on the ground and extended, firmly locking the Soul Binder at the center of the pentagram.

"Roar!!!"

The Soul Binder sensed the danger and let out a piercing howl again. Influenced by the holy power, many undead that composed its body screeched sharply as they self-ignited into holy fire and dissipated.

Whoosh!

At that moment,

A pitch-black figure suddenly dashed out from the shadows without warning. In its hand appeared a dark, compact dagger densely saturated with the aura of death, which it slashed fiercely at Eugene’s back.

"Bang!!"

A loud noise!

A protective barrier appeared behind Eugene and was hit, trembling violently. Eugene staggered forward several steps from the heavy blow.

"Who!?"

Eugene shouted fiercely and spun around abruptly.

He saw Fang Heng emerge from the darkness. After launching an attack, Fang Heng used the recoil to retreat, a mocking smile on his face.

"It’s you!"

Eugene’s anger instantly surged to its peak upon seeing Fang Heng’s face.

He had long perceived a vague aura in the darkness, so he and the others had deliberately reserved some strength to lure out the snake.

"Looking for death!"

Eugene roared furiously, his figure turning into a golden shadow. Abandoning the sealing of the Soul Binder, he instantly flashed forward, crossing a distance to appear right before Fang Heng.

"Whoosh!!!"

He punched forward with a boom!

Fang Heng neither dodged nor avoided, swinging his shadow dagger forward as well.

"Bang!!!"

The two forces collided with a shockwave. Fang Heng was immediately knocked back dozens of meters before regaining his balance.

Such a strong strength attribute!

Fang Heng thought silently, lightly flicking his toes mid-air and quickly darting toward another side.

"Think you can run?"

Eugene shouted angrily, chasing after Fang Heng’s fleeing direction. He almost instantly appeared behind Fang Heng again and punched forward with another boom.

Fang Heng spun around sharply, releasing a dark gleam from his palm once more.

"Boom!!!"

They clashed again. Fang Heng fell back into a disadvantage, flying backward into the black fog.

Eugene was about to continue chasing when Vera’s shout rang out from behind.

"Eugene! Calm down! Don’t chase!"

"D*mn it!"

Eugene stared fiercely in the direction Fang Heng flew off, suppressing the urge to chase and crush him completely. Clenching his fists, he turned and flew back.

He could sense Fang Heng’s approximate power range.

If he had not been seriously injured three days ago and not yet fully recovered, plus the Netherworld suppressing most of his strength, two punches from him could have utterly smashed Fang Heng.

"Eugene, he’s provoking you. Ignore him and continue sealing the Soul Binder. Once the seal is complete, he won’t escape."

Vera reminded loudly.

"Mm."

Eugene replied gruffly.

He realized the matter at hand was more important. Forcing down his urge to chase Fang Heng, he shot a fierce glare toward Fang Heng’s escaping direction, then turned back to his position and rejoined the sealing.

The pentagram seal bloomed in dark golden light again.

The dark golden light formed chains, gradually wrapping and enveloping the Soul Binder at the center.

"Whoosh!"

A soft sound.

Eugene’s eyelid twitched slightly.

Again!?

Fang Heng’s figure flashed again from another strange angle behind him. His dagger slashed fiercely at Eugene’s outer holy shield. The immense force interrupted Eugene’s spell and made him stagger forward two steps again.

The sealing magic array, half-completed, was interrupted once more.

"Whoosh!"

Fang Heng landed a hit and dashed again toward the distant undead aura.

"Bastard!!"

Eugene was furious to the point of almost vomiting blood.

This guy ran faster than anyone else and had some kind of aura concealment ability. Using his familiarity with the Netherworld environment, he kept harassing Eugene, making it impossible for him to focus on sealing the Soul Binder.

"Vera, I’ll hold him off! You all continue!"

Eugene snapped, unable to bear it anymore. He broke away from the magic array and turned to chase Fang Heng.

The remaining four exchanged glances.

Vera frowned slightly, feeling something was wrong. Worried, she said, "Not good. Eugene is already enraged."

Another God Clan member said calmly, "It’s fine. That kid has been causing trouble the whole time, preventing us from sealing the Soul Binder. Better let Eugene chase him. The four of us can take a bit longer and still finish the seal."

"I’m not convinced."

Vera had suffered a loss against Fang Heng once before and felt uneasy. Shaking her head, she said, "That kid isn’t weak, and I have a feeling he was deliberately showing weakness just now."

"I’ll go."

Randy, a companion Eugene had recruited, nodded to the group, "If Eugene and I go together, even if that kid turns the world upside down, he’s no match for us two."

"Good."

Vera nodded, "Be careful. Once we finish sealing the Soul Binder, we’ll come find you immediately."

While speaking, Vera and two others switched formation, forming a triangular seal around the Soul Binder.

Randy immediately left the formation and rushed toward Eugene’s chase direction.

The triangular seal gradually formed a sealing magic array on the ground, controlling and locking the Soul Binder in the center.

On the temple floor, dark golden light appeared again, slowly wrapping around the Soul Binder.

In the nearby darkness, a shadow slowly condensed.

Zane had been observing here for a long time. Watching the three God Clan members sealing the Soul Binder ahead, he licked his lips lightly.

This kid Fang Heng...

He didn’t know whether to say Fang Heng was lucky or the God Clan was unlucky — he had really tricked them!

Time to act!

"Whoosh!"

Zane quickly condensed a mark in front of him. Flicking his wrist, two earthen jars covered with sealing runes appeared in his hands.

"I spent the whole night yesterday making these... they better be useful..."

Zane muttered as he tossed the jars into the distance.

"Bang! Bang!!"

The jars traced two arcs in midair and shattered on the ground.

"Huh? What!?"

The three God Clan members maintaining the sealing magic array suddenly perceived the sound of something breaking behind them, followed by a rapid condensation of undead aura. Their hearts jumped, and they turned sharply to look back.

What?!

Not far behind, two dark vortexes wildly condensed, twisting and merging toward the center.

That was...

Vera’s expression changed slightly.

Shadow vortexes!
