Susan Park, Wilfred Cox, and Jason Nicholson began to speak one by one. Everyone told how they were taken aback by the sudden attack.

Manager Lara furrowed her brows. From their words, she could tell that they didn’t know who the attacker was. To think the attacker exploded himself to cause this damage!

She said, “You guys can leave. We will discuss later.”

Right after, they left with their family wizards one after another. Only the Magic Lord Lara was left behind.

She then thought of Vincent Carey before calling him. When the call was connected, she heard that Vincent was on his way to the Silver Tower.

So she decided to return.

From MC’s Perspective:

Meanwhile,

I landed on the magic tower street. After stepping out of the car, I paid the fare to the driver. Then I started walking back towards the Silver Tower.

While walking, I couldn’t help but think of the terrible attack. I didn’t know who was attacked and by which organization.

Shaking my head, I continued to walk towards the tower.

Soon, I reached the Silver Tower. Then I showed my badge before entering the tower.

I came to the living area and saw no one was there.

“Did they return to their homes?” I asked myself.

Manager Lara had asked me to wait here, so I sat down on the sofa.

About 5 minutes later,

Manager Lara arrived. Her expression was serious, as if something had happened. Seeing that, I didn’t know what had happened, but it must be serious.

“Where were you?” she asked in a solemn tone.

Hearing that, I stood up and replied, “I went to Old Man Martin’s bookstore.”

“Manager Lara, did something happen?” I asked back.

Hearing that, Lara raised her eyebrows in surprise.

“You don’t know about the attack?” she said in surprise.

“Attack?”

“Yes, I heard about it. That’s why I returned sooner,” I replied to her.

But she was still carrying the expression of shock.

Manager Lara didn’t know how to explain. She could tell that Vincent Carey was clueless.

“The people who were attacked were none other than Susan Park, Jason Nicholson, and Wilfred Cox,” she said in a serious tone.

Hearing that, I felt as if a thunderclap had struck my head.

“What?” I blurted out in shock.

The next second, I immediately thought of the Forbidden Wizard Remi. As I had guessed earlier, he had attacked.

Then I thought of the other three wizard seeds. My expression changed drastically.

“Manager, what about them?”

“Did they suffer any injuries?” I asked back-to-back questions.

“They’re fine. The three of them had magic artifacts with them. It saved their lives,” Lara replied.

Hearing that, I sighed in relief.

“I asked them about the attack. They only saw some explosions before crashing to the ground. But I learned earlier that someone slammed into their vehicle, and then the person exploded on the spot,” Lara explained.

My expression turned ugly. How could I forget the puppet slave? I had experienced the same attack before. Now, the Forbidden Wizard Remi had used the same tactics, but he missed the target.

“Vincent, do you know anything?” Lara asked.

She didn’t know why she felt that Vincent Carey might know something.

Hearing that, I collected my thoughts and looked at her. I didn’t know whether it was okay to tell her about the Forbidden Wizard Remi. It’s a big issue.

It’s better to let them find the culprit. Otherwise, my secret will be exposed. So I shook my head.

“Alright, you can go to your room. You have an important match tomorrow,” Lara said.

Hearing that, I nodded to her before going towards my room.

Lara then immediately called Forbidden Wizard Charlotte. When the call was connected, she reported to her.

A few minutes later,

Charlotte said, “Check the footage and collect the details from the eyewitnesses.”

“Okay, Lord,” Lara replied.

“One more thing, protect Vincent Carey. I won’t be there tomorrow. Wind Elemental Tower guys might target him,” Charlotte said before ending the call.

Lara heaved a sigh of relief.

She then went back to her office to arrange for men to collect eyewitness details.

Meanwhile,

It didn’t take long for the reporters and other media to find out the details of the victims. After learning that they were wizard seeds of the Silver Tower, they were shocked to the core.

They hesitated about whether to publish or not. They didn’t want to offend the Mage Union. The Magic City is under their administration.

Then they quickly received orders from higher-ups to stop the coverage. They were not allowed to air any program. The safety and privacy of the wizard seeds were important.

The authorities were yet to find the culprit. The reporters knew that a similar incident had occurred not long ago, but no casualties were reported except for the attacker.

But this time, the three wizard seeds were hit, and they were saved by their magic artifacts. The reporters knew that no one had the guts to go against the Mage Union.

If someone was doing this, then they must be enemies of the Mage Union and enemies of them as well.

On the other hand, the Magic City authorities were collecting details on the ground. They wanted to identify the attacker.

As long as they could gather enough information, it would be useful to find the culprit.
