After taking a look at the forest, I started walking along the narrow road. This time I don’t know whether the tree monster would dare to attack me during the day.

As the time passes, I’m getting closer to the entrance of the forbidden area. But the dense cover of the forests has started to block the daylight as well.

A mechanical voice sounded in my mind. When I heard it was the worm monster. My eyes flashed with disbelief.

I paused my footsteps and started looking around. Out of all the monsters, I didn’t expect the worm monster to be lurking here.

From the dense forest cover. A shadow appears beside the huge tree. For a second, I mistook it for a tree branch moving because of the wind.

But things have changed as I started looking at things closely. It’s not a tree branch but the body of the actual worm monster.

Compared to the worm monsters that I had faced before. This one had perfect camouflage. The body was covered with green skin and spikes.

The green color matches with the color of the leaves growing on the trees here. An almost 22ft tall worm monster is looking at me with its smaller eyes.

I don’t know what other monsters are roaming in the vicinity. The fight will definitely attract them. So, I thought about using the flight ability to flee from the place.

The next second, I started moving in mid air.

My gaze fell on the nearest habitable area marked on the map. I think it’s better to explore the place first.

If I could find any survivors there, then I could collect information from them.

Then I looked around and found out there is still some daylight. I think it’s better not to waste time.

I put the map back in the storage bracelet. Then I started moving forward. I flew above the dense forest cover.

As the time passes, I’m moving in the direction of the nearest habitat.

[A movement of the wizard was detected ahead.]

A mechanical voice sounded in my mind. Hearing I paused in the mid air. I didn’t expect to meet a survivor here.

The system says that the wizard is weak and fragile. He is hiding inside a small underground shelter.
