Chapter 1614: Reunion!

From MC’s Perspective:

I just walked out of the shower. I got a call from Manager Lara saying that friends have come to see me. My eyes gleamed with a twinkle.

I heard they have become official members as well. They must be thinking about fighting with me. But my strength has already gotten closer to the Supreme Level.

My mouth curves into an arc. Then I began to get ready.

About 10 minutes later,

I left the room and started going towards the lobby. When I got there. I spotted the familiar faces. I immediately checked their situation with the system probe function.

My gaze passes over the stats panel within a few seconds. They have all gotten stronger. But still there is a wide gap between them. Especially the rule power.

Susan Park, Jason Nicholson and Wilfred Cox saw Vincent Carey. Their eyes widened in disbelief. When they tried to see through him.

They immediately felt terrifying pressure.

“How is it possible?” Wilfred lost his voice.

“This level of coercion can be only released by Supremes,” Susan said with shock.

“Did he become Supreme Wizard?” Jason Nicholson asked. Shock was clearly written on their faces.

I came to them. I pulled out the chair and sat down.

“Why are you guys so shocked?”

“I got some opportunities. That’s why I’m stronger than you right now,” I said to them.

“Opportunity,” Wilfred uttered. He doesn’t know what to say.

Susan smiled bitterly.

Jason gritted his teeth and said,”You don’t have any idea. What kind of torture we went through?”

“The Supreme Wizard Helen tortured us,” he added.

My eyes flickered. If I told them about my experience, they would be scared to death.

“Tell me about the volcanic land. I heard there are numerous volcanos with flame type monsters,” I said to them.

“You are right. But there are some ruins over there with a special environment. It helped us to break through,” Wilfred said.

“What about you?” Susan asked.

“My mission is quite confidential,” I replied.

Susan rolled her eyes. Then she thought about the other magic towers.

She said,”You are lucky. Nobody knows about your return. Otherwise, there are quite a few wizards waiting to challenge you.”

“I have become an official member. Why do they still want to harm me?” I asked.

A sharp glint flashes in Wilfred’s eyes. He is known for having information.

He said,”You have become the face of the Silver Tower right now. Your magic also represents ancient Sub-Taboo.”

“They think if they defeat you, they will get fame,” he added.

“I heard even the wizard families are frustrated. They are asking around about your information. It’s been sometime since you made public appearances,” Jason Nicholson said.

His father told him about the various Wizard families. They are connected to the other Magic Towers. They are paying a high price for Vincent Carey’s information.

“It’s okay. I’m not going to make a public appearance for the time being,” I said to them.

But I have my plans to enter the Falling Star City.

Then we started discussing more. I’m getting to know what happened here during my absence.

Shortly afterwards,

Manager Lara came. She gave black storage bracelet to me saying that it’s a reward for the previous mission. Then she gave me another small storage container.

Which had the rewards for this mission. If I’m not wrong, it contains treasure to expand the lifespan of the supreme.

Three of them saw the bracelet. Their eyes gleamed with a twinkle. They believed that Vincent Carey went on a dangerous mission.

So the rewards must be rare and expensive. But they didn’t plan on inquiring about it. When it was night time. Three of them decided to leave.

“If you are going to make a public appearance, then tell me,” Wilfred Cox said.

“Why?” I asked.

“With that information I can make some money,” Wilfred said with a smile.

“It’s a good idea,” I replied.

Susan and Jason were stunned. They didn’t think of such a good idea.

“Good” “Good”

Susan uttered twice. She then asked me the same question.

“Alright, if I go outside. I’ll tell you guys,” I said to them..

Jason’s gaze fell on me. I can tell he wanted the same news as well. So I told him the same. Then three of them left with a smile.

When they are gone. I called Manager Lara and informed her that I’m going to leave for Falling Star City.

“Be careful. Even Lord Charlotte said that Falling Star City could be a trap,” Lara reminded.

“Don’t worry, I’ll be back,” After saying that I wore my mask and walked out of the Silver Tower.

Not long after taking a couple of steps. It felt my gazes on me.

[Ding! Warning!]

[Host is being spied on]

The system voice sounded in my mind. I didn’t show any reaction. I started walking over to the flying cabs. As I continued to walk, the gazes on me became harder and colder.

A hint of doubt flashes in my eyes. If I took flying cab, then it could be dangerous. Someone tried to attack me a long time ago.

Then I decided to take a long walk to the public square.

As the time passed, the cold gaze on me began to decrease. I sighed in relief. But I’m sure that people have started suspecting me.

Not long after, I spotted a flying cab without a customer. Then I entered the cab and told the driver to drop me at the public square.

Swoosh!

The flying cab then started going towards the public square.

Meanwhile,

The spies of various forces reported spotting masked men. The masked man’s current identity is unknown. They have spotted him coming out of the Silver Tower.

They don’t know the person. But the strength of the person is level-9. He could be an official member of the Magic Tower. There are official members who use masks.

So they need further information to confirm the identity. Some of them decided to chase after getting orders from their higher ups.

But before they knew it, the masked man slipped away from the spot. They don’t know where he went.
