Guide to raise my cutie husbands

Chapter 1745 - 1745: Wolf in Rabbit's Den (2)

To think that Ding Xuelan would actually act so calculatingly against her, her elder sister, who had raised her!

Ding Nan was so angry that she turned on her feet and pushed Ding Nan in front of her. Since this woman did not care about her, there was no need for her to care for her either.

When Ding Nan pulled her to the front, Ding Xuelan immediately yelped. While clutching the piece of fabric that was tied around her waist, Ding Xuelan skidded to a halt as she took three steps back at once.

However, as soon as she stepped in front, the horse of lambs charged at her. Ding Xuelan screamed in agony as she turned on her feet and turned around to run behind Ding Nan.

However, Ding Nan didn’t allow Ding Xuelan to use her as a shield once again. She dodged to one side and then jumped to the left just as Ding Nan charged past her along with the horde of lambs.

It was only after they chased her around for another ten minutes and stomped on her twice did they let go of her.

Village head Gu was stunned when she saw such a thing happen in front of her. Even Yu Dong was stumped. She had never seen the lambs look this angry before.

Her eyes flickered before she sensed that something amiss and muttered, “One of the lambs seems to be limping.”

As soon as she finished speaking, everyone turned and looked in the direction in which Yu Dong was looking, and sure enough they saw a lamb that was walking with a limp. And it was this lamb who was leading the entire horde towards Ding Xuelan.

After this, what else did they need to know? Ding Xuelan certainly did something!

The stampede ran for a while before it came to a halt, and it only stopped when Ding Xuelan climbed up the ox cart that was resting in the shed.

“Someone stop them!” Ding Xuelan shouted gloomily. She could not believe that the entire crowd was simply watching the show instead of helping her.

Yu Dong walked over to the edge of the ground; she looked up at Ding Xuelan, who was standing at the top of the ox cart. She glared at the woman before saying to her, “Just what did you do? And don’t you dare to lie, one of the lambs is limping; its clear as the day that you have done something to it.”

As soon as she finished speaking, the lamb started to bleat as if filing a complaint against Ding Xuelan.

Ding Xuelan stiffened as she looked at the lamb that escaped her grasp and looked slightly guilty. However, she stubbornly said to Yu Dong, “I did not do anything wrong.”

“Which means that you did something!” Village head Gu looked at the woman sharply.

Ding Xuelan, who was standing on top of the ox cart, glared at Village Head Gu before saying to her, “I was just hungry.” As she finished speaking, Ding Xuelan trailed off as everyone in the crowd started to glare at her, including Ding Nan, who was staring at her with such intensity that it was a surprise that she did not blow a hole into Ding Xuelan’s head.

“You.. why would you do such a thing?” Ding Nan was furious. This woman was really stupid; even though she told Ding Xuelan that she should stay away from the animals in the barn, it seemed like her sister didn’t listen to a thing that she was telling her!

This stupid woman!

“Why did you go ahead and try to eat a lamb from the shed?” Village head Gu was simply speechless. She knew that Ding Xuelan was a foolish woman, but she never thought that she was this foolish.

What was she thinking trying to steal from the shelter? Every animal in the shed was counted and carefully raised. If she had touched even one of them, she would end up being caught anyway. Did she not know it?

As she spoke, she turned to look at Ding Nan, whose face was flushed with embarrassment. She said to Village Head Gu, “I told her everything, Village Head.”

She knew what kind of virtue her younger sister had; who would have thought that Ding Xuelan would treat her words as fart?

As soon as she finished speaking, she turned and glared at her sister. She was truly out for her blood, wasn’t she? Now what kind of face would Ding Nan show in front of Yu Dong?

What would Yu Dong think of her? She was her boss, and she was kind enough to let her have the servants’ quarters.

But because of her sister and her actions, Ding Nan was certain that Yu Dong would no longer trust her anymore.

“This is why you are always punished by the heavens,” one of the workers of the shed couldn’t help but say. “You and your family suffered so much, and yet you never once thought of changing yourself. Look at this; you only stayed here for a day, and you are already thinking of stealing from the shed!”

“You!” Ding Xuelan felt as if she had been isolated by the villagers, including her sister. She looked around before turning to look at Village Head Gu, who was already having a headache.

Yu Dong was even more unwilling to deal with the woman because what was she thinking, trying to steal from her shed!?

In the end, Ding Xuelan couldn’t turn to anyone and stayed silent on top of the ox cart.

At long last another worker couldn’t help but say, “Madam Yu, Ding Xuelan now lives in the shed along with Ding Nan, though we have nothing against Ding Nan… Don’t you think it’s dangerous to let Ding Xuelan stay? What if she tries to steal again? Today she was caught, but what about the next time? We cannot let a wolf stay in the rabbits’ den, right?”
