I Was Caught up in a Hero Summoning, but That World Is at Peace

The parfait that was brought out after we ordered was, as expected, on the smaller side. If anything, I feel like the parfait Hina-chan had when the three of us, Aoi-chan, Hina-chan, and I, went out together before was even bigger.

[Ohh, so this is the couples-only parfait…… What exactly makes it a couples’ parfait?]

[It looks like a strawberry chocolate parfait, but I guess it’s because there are heart-shaped chocolates in key spots, and the strawberries are cut to resemble hearts.]

[I see! But it looks really delicious…… W- Would it be okay if I took the first bite?]

[Unn. Actually, if you can finish it, you can eat the whole thing yourself, Hina-chan.]

[……N- No, that won’t do. Since this is a couples-only parfait, we should eat it together…… I’ll, errr…… take half…… No, maybe two-thirds……]

It seemed like she was torn between wanting to eat the whole thing herself and wanting to share it with me, but after some internal struggle, Hina-chan chose to eat it together.

Well, I really only needed a bite or two, so I decided to just take a small amount at the right moment and let Hina-chan eat as much as she wanted first.

[Mmm~~ It’s delicious! Parfaits really do taste like happiness!]

[Ahaha, you really look like you’re enjoying it.]

Seeing Hina-chan take a bite and smile happily was adorable. Just watching her eat so cheerfully made me smile as well.

[By the way, after this, we’re planning to buy a present for Aoi-chan, right? I was thinking a general store with small accessories might be a good place. Do you have any other ideas, Hina-chan?]

[Hmmm, I think that’s a good idea too…… but I just thought of something, I’d like to visit Alice-sama’s miscellaneous goods store.]

Since I could pass through it normally and had also taken Amel-san there before without any issues, I had assumed anyone could go through.

But from what Hina-chan just said, it seems like when I’m not there, the door functions as an exit, and only when I’m present does it connect directly to the general store. Well, knowing how cautious Alice is, that explanation makes perfect sense.

[Alright, then, let’s go check out Alice’s miscellaneous goods store. She does make some joke items just for fun, but a lot of her stuff is high quality too……]

Alice’s craftsmanship is top-tier, so her shop has plenty of amazing products. That said, it does seem like she runs the store purely as a hobby, so there are also some bizarre items made on a whim and an oddly strong push for her mysterious mascot.

Still, I buy most of my accessories from Alice’s store…… No, even my clothes and shoes, too…… Honestly, most of my daily necessities probably come from her. Well, in any case, there’s no doubt that she has a lot of great items, so it should be a good place to find a birthday present.

After leaving the café, we arrived at Alice’s miscellaneous goods store as per Hina-chan’s request…… but as soon as we stepped inside, a certain sign caught my eye.

……This girl. She’s blatantly trying to sell Hina-chan inexpensive, casual items while attempting to push expensive stuff onto me without even trying to hide it. Her shamelessness is almost admirable.
