I don’t have much time, so today’s chapter is a bit short.
I’m really glad I decided to join this tea party. Who would’ve thought there were custom brushes made specifically for each individual? That was a blind spot for me.
Bell’s coat is my pride and joy, I wash and shampoo her every day without fail, and brush her thoroughly, so I’ve always considered it to be soft, fluffy, and with the best texture, but the thought that it could be made even better makes my heart race.
I had been getting Alice to make special-order shampoos, but as for brushes, while I’d collected the highest-quality ones available, it never occurred to me to commission a custom-made brush.
……Maybe I could have one made for Lynn’s scales, too? The one I’m using now is good, but if something even better could be made, I’d love to have it. I should bring a few of Lynn’s scales and ask if it’s possible.

[Unn. I give Lynn one Fruit of the World Tree every day, but I figured she’d get bored of eating it raw, so I have it processed and mixed in. For Bell, I mix Magnawell-san’s powdered scales into her food, which is also tricky to prepare, so I leave it to Alice.]

As expected, Fruits of the World Tree hold strong life force, or rather, natural magic power, making them a perfect match for monsters like Bell and Lynn, so they’re extremely useful. I did receive quite a lot from Lillywood-san, but lately, Nebula has been able to produce as many Fruits of the World Tree as needed, so I’ve been using those instead.
According to Nebula, her fruits are specially adjusted for Bell and Lynn respectively, so these days I mainly use those. Incidentally, it was also Nebula who told me that mixing processed Fruit of the World Tree into shampoo enhances the sheen of the coat.
[Since Sela also wants to eat Fruits of the World Tree, Sieg-san also asks Alice to make her food too…… In Sela’s case, it seems she thinks of Lynn like an older sister, so she’s imitating Lynn, I guess?]

These days, Sieg-san also asks Alice to specially make food, but instead of paying with money, it’s done through a kind of barter, exchanging them with Sela’s Midnight Diamonds.
She seems to have more money than she knows what to do with, sending most of it to Rei-san and Fia-san, so having food made directly must be convenient for Sieg-san as well.
