Chapter 1084: I Beg My Death
Chapter 1084: I Beg My Death
Thump! Thump! Thump!
Orakha’s mind felt stifled by fear, unable to even process an escape plan. His body’s actions had slowed down to the extreme, making him resemble a stone. The organs were merely relying on the Prana within them to not experience an organ failure.
Thankfully, with Mystic Grade Prana, he could remain in that state for a long time. However, whether or not he wanted to remain as such was another matter altogether, ’It…IT…IT’S HERE!!!!!!’
’It’s here! That monster is here! It’s here! It’s here!’ He was going insane, for even if he didn’t want to, from what he had seen through Future Sight, there was just one outcome here.
An Eldritch Death!
Manmade horrors beyond his wildest expectations were what awaited them from the entity that had arrived, not just to the living beings, but the land, the terrain, and even for Sumatra itself.
Grotesque hands that had mutated to resemble blades of Prana, swirling about and drilling into a pair of eyes that crumbled down into sand. Nose that inhaled the surroundings into it and bloated the lungs, which were drumming upon the heart.
Every moment, the texture of the stomach was changing, in a rampant cycle of destruction and revival. As psychokinesis gathered in his heart and birthed into a blood-curdling monster that latched onto the lungs, the blades from the hands swerved in and hacked into it.
In retaliation, the stomach opened up to spew out various terrains. One after another, the organs branched off into their own individual selves. Every blood vessel became a grotesque monster and targeted each individual born from the organs.
All along, he, Orakha, was alive, his mind split between the various individuals, able to consciously feel every single blood vessel army hacking into his split being. This continued until his mind gave out and resulted in his death.
But soon after, he was revived, only to revisit the prior horrors from scratch, in a never-ending cycle. This was merely the first possible future that Orakha had analysed and derived using Future Sight.
Intermediate Silver Grade Pranic Beast—Brood Mother!
Every future that Orakha had analysed, all he saw were scenes of him experiencing horrors one after another, with his Mystic Tentacle powers turned against him, subjecting him to endless cycles of deaths and revivals.
Through him, the natives of Sumatra were forced to live in infinite loops. Worst of all, in all these possible futures, the cause hadn’t even actively targeted them. They were merely collateral.
Boom!
While Orakha was stressing too much, a Forest Boar walked through the defences of Grehha’s Dungeon and unleashed its Prana detection means through the tunnel created by Orakha into the deepest parts.
Casually, its Prana detection means approached Grehha. The Forest Boar tilted its head in confusion as, in the next moment, its body exploded.
Even the Celestial Boar’s skin burst from sensing the newborn variant of this entity. A mere Forest Boar trying to sense the same individual after the latter had grown a bit was straight up a death sentence.
“Stop there.” The entity standing before Grehha uttered softly. In response, Orakha stopped moving, knowing very well the statement was addressed to him.
No longer caring about him, the Brood Mother eyed Grehha to say, “I have fully consumed the Celestial Boar.”
“I’ve realised it.” Grehha gulped in response, feeling something strange well up in his guts.
“I have fully consumed the Celestial Boar.” The Brood Mother said again.
“Yes,” Grehha said, feeling his body turn cold all of a sudden.
“I have…” The Brood Mother paused and curled up into a ball, beginning to cry, “I ate him up. So…why? Why must I continue being like this?”
She asked, “Grehha…you can hear me, right? I am speaking correctly, right?”
“Ye…” Grehha couldn’t finish his sentence, feeling suffocated now.
“I can’t perceive anything. I can’t hear my voice. I can’t smell anything. I cannot see anything either.” As the Brood Mother uttered, a series of eyes appeared on her body and spontaneously died out, “Even in this, I can barely make out two-dimensional lines, a sort of microbial means of perception.”
Pfft!
The Brood Mother sprawled on the floor, “I…I don’t wish to suffer any longer. Please…”
“Kill me!”
At the same time, Grehha collapsed on the floor as bursting out of his mouth were a series of insects resembling ants, centipedes, moths, bed bugs, etc. They were spawned out of his body. And as they filtered out of his mouth, they turned into a digested mush spontaneously.
State of Unity—Unlimited Predator!
Grehha was relying on the Influenced Region of Armoury to withstand its effects that had pervaded his body, mind, and soul. The creatures born out of him didn’t have the shielding effect from Armoury and hence turned into digested mush instantly.
’Just…her words tinged with her presence reduced me to such a state.’ That was all Grehha could think as creatures were spawning out of his body nonstop.
“I…” Grehha opened his mouth, barely able to voice his opinion while a sea of creatures spawned out of his buccal cavity, “I will help you.”
By the time he had finished his sentence, his mouth was empty. His teeth, lips, and gums had been turned into the insects that flew out.
Grehha lifted his hand as a thick bone mist converged upon the palm. He extended his hand and touched the Brood Mother, beginning to turn her into a bone sculpture. A few seconds later, his arm collapsed. Barely a tenth of the Brood Mother had been turned into a sculpture.
“Assist…me!” He uttered and activated Mystic Bone Art, turning the blood sea into a digested fluid mass while he treated it as a part of his power and transformed the entirety into bone mist.
He then surged it into the Brood Mother, “I will grant you your wish!”
The bone mist surged into the Brood Mother’s body, invading her deep and turning everything in contact into a bone sculpture.
The sheer quantity of bone mist he had generated would have been enough to transform a large region of the Kalahatra Desert into a sea of bone. However, it wasn’t enough here.
The moment his bone mist seeped into her body, Grehha despaired, ’It’s…endless. Her every cell seems to have become a small world.’
’I…am sorry!’ He pitied the creature before him, ’I’ve subjected you to such horrors.’
Nothing existed in the Brood Mother’s being other than the will to die. However, she seemed unable to kill herself, no matter what she did.
“Please…” The Brood Mother begged upon seeing the sea of bone mist thin out. In panic, she bellowed, “Mystic Tentacle…”
“Come, kill me!”
Orakha hesitated only for a moment before he created a lava drill and pushed it into a Brood Mother, watching it drill into her, producing a stream of smoke in response. However, ’She’s…huge!’
Contained within her small frame seemed to be an endless stretch of mass, that even with Orakha’s power, while drilling into her without facing any resistance, seemed to take forever.
“Once he realised his ability, the Celestial Boar became an unkillable monster.” Grehha said, “During the fight, he had an infinite stream of Prana to draw from. The source for it was his Major Treasure’s pillar of light.”
That endless energy, capable of still being maintained even after the completion of its Influenced Region, had all been consumed. “The Boar Race she spawned at the Kalahatra Desert is merely a fraction of that infinite energy. The rest, has been built into her mass.”
“Can…” After a while, the Brood Mother asked as she raised her hand, which was spontaneously covered by a brightly glowing fabric. At a closer glance, the fabric was made of strings of Prana. Pointing it to Grehha, she uttered, “Can the creator of this object manage to kill me?”
“Similar to the Celestial Boar, he was wielding a power potent enough to harm me.”
State of Unity—Four Steps to Nullity!
’Inala?’ Grehha smiled wryly, “For that, you need to wait.”
“How long?” The Brood Mother asked, not even realising that over a hundred lava drills were drilling into her body now. She didn’t have any senses to realise what was happening in the first place.
“Soon,” Grehha said, noticing his vision was vanishing now. Following his vision was his sense of hearing, smell, and then touch. ’Is she transferring the power of the Minor Treasure of Linked Rupture to me? No, she’s linking my senses to hers?’
“Ahhh!” Tears streamed down her face as suddenly, the Brood Mother transformed into a human girl, closely resembling Harrala, Yennda, and Blola. She had ivory hair resembling a Mammoth Clansman as a glowing fabric covered her.
Major Treasure—Palm!
After the Royal Zinger’s Prana in it was expended, the Brood Mother gradually gained control over it. And now, she had made Palm hers. If necessary, she could even snack upon it, which she did from time to time, whenever hungry.
“Is this how sight works?” She relished in the effects as her hands mushed her face, “I…this is how touch feels…!”
“I…am thankful.” She hugged Grehha and spoke, “After consuming the Celestial Boar, all I could instinctively perceive were traces of the Celestial Boar’s power. You were the closest, so I came here.”
“Grehha…” She spoke as her arms held Grehha tight, “Why did you make me do that?”
“To ensure the Celestial Boar is dead,” Grehha responded, no longer able to see. All he could feel was a slight physical sensation of someone gripping him tightly. His ears and mouth barely retained their functioning.
“Then, I am free now, right?” The Brood Mother asked, “I am free to die as I please, right?”
“If possible, I want you to live.” Grehha touched her head and then, his hands slumped, delivering his last, “Eat me, and make my power yours. That might…help you.”
“You are strong, Grehha.” The Brood Mother uttered and relaxed her hold, watching Grehha drop to the floor and collapse into a pile of bone mist, “Seventeen seconds…that’s how long you were able to handle Linked Rupture’s curse.”
“And that’s how long you made me feel alive.” She slowly kneeled on the floor while facing the pile, “Even a Spectral Boar barely lasted a second. I understand now.”
“Only a Mystic Grade existence can make me feel alive…” She had just completed her statement when a golden flash covered her vision.
She lost her senses the moment Grehha died, not knowing what to do anymore. Instinctively, she perceived the next location with the Celestial Boar’s power.
Boom!
Having exploded with all his power, Orakha reached high up in the sky and rained down golden flashes that destroyed the region. Forest Boars were a mere casualty, as each golden flash had enough power to cut one in half without feeling any resistance.
There was a crackle as Orakha turned an entire region within a 180-kilometre radius into dust with his endless flashes. Of course, he knew that wasn’t enough to kill her, ’Even when she resisted, I couldn’t kill her.’
“Shit!” Through Future Sight, he knew where the Brood Mother would go next. Without hesitation, he flew at top speed, ’There’s one more individual containing the power of the Celestial Boar!’
’I need to kill him fast, before she reaches there!’ He flew across the skies, rampantly using Future Sight to predict the timing of the Brood Mother’s arrival. And then, he continued flying, heading to his destination.
The Brimgan Empire!
