Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse

Chapter 3889: Repeat after me! II

Chapter 3889: Repeat after me! II

The Master of the Mannafolds trembled beneath the frozen bark of a glacial Yggdrasil branch, the cold air of the domain wrapping around his form like chains of judgment. His lips were stained crimson. His pride was splintered and dangling, like the cracked mana runes floating around his battered form.

"I have the Mannafolds behind me! A Tower Master in our ranks with a terrifying progression in their Tower of Origin!"

WAA!

Torus, the Mannafolds Master, bared his teeth.

"The Tower Masters of the Mannafolds will hear of this. They will raze your beginning if you do this. They...!"

"Are they here?" Noah asked.

The cold question cut across his fury.

A Tower Master.

An extrenely accomplished Originus Venerant entity! But...were they here?

Torus faltered. "...No."

Noah tilted his head slightly, a faint breath curling from his lips like drifting mist. "Then they definitely won’t be able to save you. Maybe they’ll avenge you. But if you’re dead..." His eyes slowly narrowed, "Do you really care about vengeance?"

"..."

"So," Noah finished. "Repeat after me, and I might just let you live."

Something loosened inside Noah’s chest as he said this.

Freedom.

The ability to act as he wished. To speak as he wished. Whether the audience was a Fold Dweller, Living Origin, or Early Creature, it didn’t matter. He didn’t want to bend himself for them. Not anymore.

He wanted to live freely, tyrannically!

Quintessentially!𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝔀𝓮𝒃𝙣𝓸𝒗𝒆𝒍.𝙘𝒐𝒎

Torus clenched his jaw. "You killed Hannibal after he said your words," he hissed. "Will you not simply do the same to me?"

Noah’s gaze turned sharp. "I told Hannibal I may let him live. I’m also telling you, I may let you live. Statistically, you have better chances than he did. So I’ll ask again."

He paused.

"Will you repeat after me?"

Silence stretched. A soundless storm of shame and rage twisted in Torus’ eyes. He was a Master of Existence. An Originus Venerant. To speak such words...!

"I will repeat," he spat, venomously.

Noah nodded, the frost near his feet deepening into pale white ice.

"Good. Let’s begin."

He didn’t shout. The words weren’t loud, but they weighed more than mountains.

"Repeat after me," Noah said calmly, "I am a big sack of shit."

Torus flinched. His lips curled back in fury.

"I..." He closed his eyes.

"I am a big sack of shit."

It came out like gravel dragged across his throat.

Noah’s gaze remained impassive. "Next...I disgraced the idea of Mana."

A slight tremble ran through Torus’ shoulders.

"I disgraced the idea of Mana."

Noah nodded coldly and continued!

"I am the disappointment my Folds always feared."

...!

"I...am the disappointment my Folds always feared!"

Each one dragged itself through Torus’ voice like barbed wire. But he said them.

And then...

Noah’s voice dropped.

"One more."

He stepped forward, the glacial wind sweeping his robe in slow waves.

"Repeat after me..." he said. "My eons of cultivation are worthless, and I should just die."

A silence louder than thunder followed.

Torus looked up.

His red-rimmed eyes flickered with fury.

His lips parted, but no words came.

"...No."

The defiance returned suddenly, violently. "No," Torus roared. "I will not say that! You’re going to kill me anyway, just like Hannibal! I am not saying that!"

Noah tilted his head gently.

"You won’t repeat?"

"I won’t!"

"You won’t repeat?!"

"I fucking wont!"

HUUM!𝕗𝗿𝕖𝐞𝐰𝗲𝕓𝐧𝕠𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝐨𝚖

Noah’s eyes squinted sharply.

"Okay."

There was no anger in his voice. Just finality.

The Glyph of the Protagonist flared once more.

Torus didn’t even have time to scream. His body twisted. Folded. Collapsed into itself like a page being turned. His screams were silent. His resistance meaningless.

A single flash of purple-gold, and he was gone.

In his place, a Treasure Cache shimmered quietly. And then, that too, disappeared.

Another Master of Existence, erased.

A heavy silence fell over the glacial domain.

Sigrid was calmly watching behind Noah. Kalysta and others of the Veiled Sunfolds were astonished as this was far too surreal!

And at this time...

"Fellow Master of Existence," a new voice rang out, strong but tempered, "you cannot just go on killing like this."

...!

The air itself seemed to pause, as a figure stepped forward from the distance, flanked by nine other glowing titans of power.

White robes, embroidered with sigils of balance and retribution. Behind him, dozens of Primarchs hovered solemnly.

"Existence," the voice continued, "preaches harmony and law. If those two were in the wrong, they could have paid. Killing should be the last resort."

Noah’s eyes flicked upward and gazed at the origin of this voice, words quickly blooming to identify him!

|Master Neinoro|:: An Originus Venerant entity from the Lesser Law Folds with approximately 11,134,666 Complexity Quotient and Purity Quotient.

...!

Someone exceeding 10 Million CQ and PQ!

His gaze swept the space, and saw more of them now.

Not from the Nullvein Gravewake Folds, but from outside. Far outside.

In another direction, there stood a being whose skin shimmered with crystalline brilliance, a lattice of light dancing around him. His name pulsed in Noah’s vision.

|Master Lumerion of Geneva Bright Folds|

His arms folded behind his back, and twelve golden circuits whirred like layered halos above his crown.

In another direction, a woman hovered upon swirling flames, her eyes of sapphire and her body clad in robes of thunder. She carried a staff pulsing with every element known!

|Master Oravella of the Radiant Elemental Folds|

She gave Noah a glance both curious and cautious.

And then, there was a tall being with feathers of white and violet, a birdlike mask covering his face. Ethereal energy billowed around him as if he were half-spirit.

|Master Sil’vair of the Spirifolds|

...!

Each led their own parties. Each carried an air of ancient power and mystery.

They affirmed easily that this Labyrinth...had gateways from other locations! Other Folds unfathomably far from the Nullvein Gravewake Folds!

Noah observed them all.

And then, finally, his gaze rested back on Master Neinoro.

He did not argue. Did not shout. He simply... shook his head.

"I’m not interested in trading philosophies on killing," he said.

The glacial frost whispered around him as he turned, walking toward Sigrid.

She stood beside Kalysta, who was still healing, her aura faintly golden with blooming Kismet. Behind them, Master Etheopa and the other Primarchs of the Veiled Sunfolds gazed at Noah with silent awe.

Their expressions said it all.

He had come into their despair and shifted the very current of their destinies.

He did not do it for their awe or thanks.

He did it because he could.

Because he chose to.

And he would continue to choose freely as he turned his head to the Inevitabilities- the Imitation Mutated Inevitabilities that could provide imitations of Everything!
