Chapter 3918: Aeternitas Concordia! I
Chapter 3918: Aeternitas Concordia! I
The absence left by Altheon’s departure was immediate and palpable.
Noah’s gaze swept across the impossible view of Aeternitas Concordia, his eyes catching every detail with the methodical precision of one who understood that knowledge was power, and power was survival.
From his vantage point atop the triangular runic platform, he could observe the intricate dance of arrival and ascension that played out across this realm of infinite possibilities.
Other platforms materialized in brilliant flashes of authority- some bearing entire contingents of Fold Dwellers who moved with the coordinated precision of military units, others delivering solitary figures whose very presence seemed to bend reality around them.
Each arrival told a story. The group that emerged from a hexagonal platform of crystallized time moved with the measured cadence of those who had learned to navigate temporal folds.
A lone figure stepping from a sphere of living shadow carried herself with the fluid grace of one who had danced with entropy and emerged unscathed. Another cluster, their forms wreathed in elemental fury, bore the scars of battles fought in the elemental folds.
All of them, every single one, had earned their passage here through trials within Doorways!
They were the survivors who had looked into the abyss of Imitation Mutated Inevitabilities and emerged victorious!
Soon, they would all ascend to Aeternitas Concordia and receive their designations- labels that would define their roles in the weavings of war that stretched toward the Loom itself.
Noah found himself genuinely curious about what designation awaited him and Sigrid.
Would their origins in the Nullvein Gravewake Folds mark them as outcasts from Paradoxical Folds, or would Altheon’s subtle machinations behind the scenes provide some measure of protection for the one he called Young Miss?
The thought of Altheon brought a different sort of contemplation to Noah’s mind, one that carried with it the cold clarity of long-term planning.
The Prime Living Origin had played his role admirably thus far, bowing to Sigrid’s authority while maintaining the careful facade of respectful distance for Noah.
But Noah had not forgotten that this same being had tried to kill his other self, Ozymandias, not so long ago!
Altheon had acted without knowledge of who he truly faced, yes, but ignorance was no absolution for attempted killed of he- Noah Osmont!
In his mind, the Prime Living Origin was already marked for death, a sentence waiting to be carried out when the moment was right.
For now, though, Altheon served a purpose.
He was a tool- useful, efficient, and perfectly positioned to provide protection for him and Sigrid while maintaining the illusion of propriety.
If he proved valuable enough in that role, Noah was not averse to postponing his execution indefinitely. Tools, after all, were only discarded when they broke or outlived their usefulness.
And if the day came when Altheon needed to be removed from the equation... well, Noah had Moiraine for precisely such situations.
The Living Golden Paradox had already proven her capability by eliminating one of her own kind with surgical precision. A Prime Living Origin would present no greater challenge to her particular skills!
The thought brought a slight hum to his lips, a sound of quiet satisfaction that was lost in the glorious symphony that surrounded them.
He was preparing to move toward Aeternitas Concordia, to take Sigrid and begin their ascent into whatever wonder awaited them, when a familiar voice cut through his contemplations.
"Miss," came the oily tones of Master Neinoro, his approach heralded by the rustle of pristine white robes and the calculated smile that had become his trademark. "You can always come with us to receive your designation under the Living Laws. We wouldn’t want you to experience any hardship if you travel with others and receive no designation or worse yet, be labeled as coming from Paradoxical Folds."
HUUM!
The audacity of this fucker was immense.
Here, in this moment of glorious significance, this insignificant creature had the unmitigated gall to waste their time with his machinations!
The ingratiating smile, the false concern, the barely veiled threat disguised as helpful advice- it was all so predictably pathetic.
Noah could see Sigrid’s annoyance building, her stellar eyes darkening.
She was preparing to deliver what would undoubtedly be a devastating verbal assault, but Noah had enough of this guy.
"I’ve heard enough bullshit from you already," he said, his voice carrying the weight of absolute finality as he stepped forward.
His gaze locked onto Master Neinoro’s confident expression with the precision of a hunter sighting prey. "So for now, stay here and do not move a step."
The words hung in the air for a heartbeat, deceptively simple in their construction.
Then Noah allowed a fragment of his true nature to surface- just enough to make his point with crystalline clarity!
HUUM!
The aura of an Early Creature could be expressed in many ways. When wielded with benevolent intent, it could fill even Living Existences with euphoria so profound they would weep tears of pure joy.
But when turned to darker purposes, when infused with the cold displeasure of a being whose very existence predated the concept of authority itself...
Master Neinoro froze mid-breath.
His confident smile cracked like glass subjected to impossible pressure, the carefully constructed mask of superiority dissolving to reveal the stark terror beneath.
His eyes- those calculating orbs that had gazed upon Masters of Existence with casual disdain- now trembled like leaves in an existential hurricane as they stared at Noah with the horrified recognition of prey that had finally glimpsed its predator!
And it would not even know what type of predator had locked onto it!
The effect was immediate and absolute. Every muscle in Neinoro’s body locked in place, held rigid by an instinctive understanding that to move, to speak, to even breathe too loudly might attract the attention of something that could erase him from existence with less effort than it took to blink.
Noah nodded at the sudden, blissful quiet that followed. Without another word, he beckoned to Sigrid, and together they began their ascent toward Aeternitas Concordia, leaving behind a cluster of shock and confusion!
Behind them, Neinoro’s entourage rushed to his aid, shaking him, calling his name, trying desperately to break whatever weaving had fallen over him.
Their voices carried notes of genuine alarm as they struggled to understand why their leader- a being who commanded respect across multiple Wheels and Fold Dwellings, was cowering before what appeared to be nothing more than a Paradoxical Fold Dweller!
Many of them cast wary glances toward Noah’s retreating figure, their earlier dismissiveness replaced by a caution born of witnessing power they couldn’t comprehend.
But Noah paid them no mind. His attention was already elsewhere, drawn by the complex weavings of auras that surrounded the dozens of Fold Dwellers making their way toward Aeternitas Concordia.
The stellar roadway that led to the Living Coalition Gateway was crowded with beings of incredible power and potential at the Originus Venerant stage.
Some as weak as those with 2 Million CQ and PQ, and other as strong as those exceeding 50 Million PQ and CQ!
It was there, among that clustering multitude, that Noah’s gaze fell upon something that made him stop and blink.
A figure that sparked recognition in the depths of his memory- someone who had no business being here, whose presence raised questions that demanded immediate answers.𝒻𝓇𝑒𝘦𝘸𝑒𝒷𝓃ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝒸ℴ𝘮
How could there possibly be someone he recognized in this place?
Noah shook his head with calm incredulity as he studied the familiar silhouette.
There, moving with the measured pace of one accustomed to being the voice of reason in chaos, was a figure he remembered well from days ago.
Days, and yet it seemed like a while ago!
It was...
The Peacemaker!
Alexander Asmodeus, if his records served correctly!
The last time Noah had seen him, the man had been facing off against Bob with him in their native Wheel of Existence- a confrontation between powers that had seemed impossibly grand at the time but now felt quaint and weak in comparison to now.
For the Peacemaker to be here, in the Transcendent Origin Battlefront Folds, meant many possibilities and none.
Since he should have been a local of the Nullvein Gravewake Folds!
But Noah thought.
His mind worked with the rapid precision of a Weaver of Existence, sifting through memories and recent events with meticulous care.
Slowly. Rapidly.
And eventually...
The words of Royal Origin Calypso and Royal Law Tristesse echoed in his thoughts, fragments of conversation from the battle that had reshaped the very nature of the Nullvein Gravewake Folds.
And soon, his eyes brightened up at the only possible connection.
A treasure of the Living Laws that Altheon found within the Nullvein Gravewake Folds and sent back to them!
Could it be him? Could Alexander Asmodeus be the mysterious treasure that had drawn the attention of a Royal Living Law?
Noah’s eyes shone with the bright fire of curiosity as he adjusted his trajectory, floating toward the stellar roadway where the Peacemaker moved among the crowd of ascending Fold Dwellers.
Beside him, Sigrid noticed his change in direction but said nothing, content to follow his lead as they navigated the complex currents that surrounded them.
He was curious to know.
The threads of entanglements had brought them together once before, in simpler times.
Now, as they prepared to meet again in this place of glorious significance, Noah could only wonder what role the Peacemaker would play in the grand weaving that was slowly being woven around Fold Dwellers, Living Existences, and himself!
His curiosity, brilliant and irrepressible, demanded satisfaction. And he had never been one to deny himself!
