Infinite Range: The Sniper Mage

Chapter 298 - 298: 298: The Color of Destruction

Usher and the others turned to look, only to see Kalrien leading the charge, taking advantage of the situation and once again moving toward the Soul Seal star field.

Usher faced off against two opponents, frowning as he braced himself against the toxic mist, preparing to clash once more with Kalrien.

“What are you looking at? Orgod is dead, and I’m alone.” Naoko smiled lightly, her expression carefree, but Snow Dream’s divine gaze remained fixed on her, sensing something was off.

Naoko, unfazed, replied calmly, “I won’t get involved in your fight. I’m only here for one piece of equipment. If you insist on fighting… I’ll join the other side.”

Davis muttered, “She’s not strong, but if Yamata no Orochi joins the other side, it would put us at a disadvantage.”

“Riley, help me out, take down Sinternan first,” Usher said in a low voice. Sinternan, fused with the poison dragon, not only had incredibly high toxin damage but also numerous curse buffs that decreased attack speed and attack power.

At the same time, Kalrien was too powerful, his thunder-infused arrows unable to break through the lightning storm and being obliterated instead.

Seeing this, Davis mounted his skeletal horse and charged at Kalrien, trying to block some of the incoming attacks to give Usher some breathing room.

“Die!” Kalrien shouted, unleashing a storm of lightning through his war axe. A thunder strike cleaved down, and Davis’s face was filled with horror as his skeletal horse was split in half.

He was then struck by another lightning bolt and sent flying tens of meters away, nearly being taken out in one blow.

Snow Dream watched Naoko, trying to figure out whether this woman knew she was too weak to get the Soul Seals, or if she had some other plan in mind.

“What are you daydreaming about? Take down Kalrien!” Usher growled.

Kalrien fought with fury, his war axe roaring with thunderous energy. His second-to-none battle potential sent chills down everyone’s spine.

Usher’s face turned pale as he was reduced to nearly no health after three brutal strikes, despite his demonic power.

Snow Dream hesitated for a moment, but Naoko didn’t waste time. She casually picked up a piece of jewelry, turned, and quickly fled.

On the other side, Kalrien rampaged through the battlefield with no one able to stop him. Davis was surrounded by Pokpung and the maniac, and his death was all but assured!

“Alright, I’m on my way,” Snow Dream said, feeling a slight unease in her chest.

She knew that if she didn’t act soon, the situation with a 4-on-2 disadvantage would only get worse.

As the Archangel’s power enveloped her, she descended into the battlefield. Trained under Orson, she was well-versed in warrior classes, and the Holy Light Sword shimmered with brilliance.

Clang!

She raised her sword in a horizontal slash, striking Kalrien’s war axe. The collision sent a loud, high-pitched ringing sound, with sparks flying.

Snow Dream remained expressionless as she brought down a second slash. Kalrien frowned and for the first time, chose to dodge.

With a powerful flap of her holy wings, Snow Dream leapt into the air, accelerating as she kicked Kalrien from behind, forcing him to break his defensive posture.

At the same time, her Holy Light Sword surged forward, summoning a divine dragon from the Battle Space, which unleashed a Holy Light Dragon Breath straight at Kalrien.

“Black Pearl, set sail!” Kalrien raised his hand and threw a small ship from a bottle. The ancient artifact suddenly expanded, blocking the full force of the Holy Light Dragon Breath.

“My usable skills are limited, and I can only rely on basic attacks,” Snow Dream frowned. The Archangel’s possession came with many restrictions.

Having sacrificed so many devout followers only earned her an hour of possession time, and most of her skills were locked. Otherwise, when she’d arrived behind Kalrien, she would have been able to land the second-most powerful kill in the world.

“Damn it, why does this game feel so real? I’m seriously overheating!” someone muttered.

“What’s the use of shouting? The cannon barrel is already red-hot. What’s the guildmaster doing?!” someone else complained.

Meanwhile, in the Celestial White Goose armory:

Dynasty Old Yin clasped his hands together in prayer, begging the heavens, “This job isn’t for humans!”

The team was sweating profusely, the fire element swirling around them, and it felt as if they were about to roast alive.

Madman stared at the glowing main cannon, cursing, “If you don’t fire the damn cannon, it’ll explode! The whole Celestial Fortress is going to be wiped out!”

“Sorry, just a few more seconds!” Orson apologized with a smile.

“‘A few more seconds?’ You’ve said that seven or eight times already!” Madman was on the brink of losing his mind.

The group stood on a pile of monster corpses, eyes fixed on the terrifyingly large cannon, its barrel glowing a deep red and looking utterly intimidating.

The Forbidden Curse: Hellfire Burn had been activated, but it still required manual activation.

If the waiting time exceeded two and a half minutes without firing at a target, the cannon would explode from within, causing catastrophic damage.

No one knew just how powerful an S-rank Fire Element Forbidden Curse could be.

“Cling!”

A new mail notification rang out.

Orson quickly opened the inbox, and inside was a beautifully crafted pair of Earrings.

“Orson-kun, your delivery has arrived.” Naoko’s voice echoed softly.

“This time, it’s on me.” Naoko’s voice was sweet and tender.

Orson sighed in relief, while Naoko whispered, “Don’t forget our agreement… and remember… you belong to me.”

Orson chuckled bitterly. To prepare for the worst, he had practically sold himself out.

God-Emperor Earrings: Required Level 25!

“Equip now?”

“Yes!”

A strange glow enveloped Orson’s ears as he opened the guild channel again and softly muttered, “They will remember us. We… are their eternal nightmare.”

“Forbidden Curse!”

“Hellfire Burn! Kill!!!”

The Godslayer players raised their fists high in unison, their eyes filled with bloodlust, exuding an overwhelming aura of destruction!

“This is going to be the biggest, most ridiculous ‘plus version’ firework show since Infinite Dimensions launched!” Madman laughed maniacally, swiping his finger across the screen, changing the Godslayer player interface to a bright red.

Bradley remarked, “If ‘destruction’ had a color, this would be it!”

BOOM!!!!!

A dazzling fireball, like a fiery meteor, shot from the cannon.

At first, it was only about ten meters in diameter, but as it rose, it rapidly expanded.

100 meters!

1,000 meters!

… until it reached a kilometer and continued to grow, swelling uncontrollably!

It forcibly tore through the Abyssal Rift, forcing its way into the rift.

The void shattered, causing chaotic space turbulence.

Orson opened his livestream recording, broadcasting the moment to the guild channel for everyone to witness!

Burning-50000!

Burning-50000!

Hellfire Burn tore through the space rift, the sheer heat from it turning the massive horde of monsters blocking the entrance to ash.

It was like a death star, scattering the titan fragments, sending waves of monsters flying into the sky.

“He dares to come?! I’m dying of laughter. Starting with newbie gear? He’s wearing newbie gear and still trying to take the items back?” Pokpung sneered as she hovered above the chaos, taunting.

“I’ll flatten your server. I hope NUK can make room for my legs,” Orson responded calmly.

Pokpung retorted, “You? You shameless…”

“What’s wrong? Why have you gone silent all of a sudden?”

Orson tilted his head, looking at Pokpung and the others who were frozen in place, utterly stunned.

“What… is that?”

Davis stared at the death star in shock.

“Is that… an ultra-large area poison magic?”
