Chapter 1776: Primal Essence Realm
Chapter 1776: Primal Essence Realm
A metallic luster shone on Master Xunzi’s skin, along with his eyes turning pure gold—an ancient, primordial, and noble aura emitted from his body. Wang Wei frowned because this aura was familiar; it reminded him of Siwangji — albeit, drastically weaker. No, to be precise, it seems to be the fusion of a Fiendgod and a Chaos Demon God.
’Now that I think about it, the Fiendgod Race should have been created long after the Chaos Demon God’s era. So, why does their cultivation system use the same?’ Wang Wei analyzed. ’Could it be, in this timeline, the Fiendgod Race was not created by the Primordial Cardinal, but by the Chaos Demon God? Is it really just a coincidence or a divergence of a timeline, or is there a bigger secret at play?’
Wang Wei was immediately suspicious. In the universe in which everything is somehow connected, it’s hard to believe there wasn’t a hidden connection between these two races. And if there are, it may be the key for Wang Wei to evolve his bloodline into Human Chaos Demon God.
Master Xunzi’s aura reached the peak, and he looked at Wang Wei condensing, "Otherworldly Demon, I will use your head to fuel my ascension." He moved so fast that it appeared he had teleported, and with one punch, Wang Wei’s armor cracked, and he spewed a large mouthful of blood. Most of it landed on Master Xunzi’s face, but he did not mind. On the contrary, he licked the blood before punching again.
Wang Wei’s body flew a few hundred thousand kilometers, breaking through trees, mountains, and demons — who instantly exploded on impact — before landing on his feet. His armor — at least the upper part — was basically non-existent, with a few parts hanging by a thread. Blood dripped down from the corner of his mouth, but this was the least of his worries.
Master Xunzi’s malicious face appeared in front of him, and before he could react, the latter plunged his terrifying fist through Wang Wei’s chest while grinning. He looked at Wang Wei’s eyes, opening to see something, but he was soon disappointed.
"Interesting. Even in this situation, there is no fear and despair on your face. Your willpower is commendable," Master Xunzi sneered. "Unfortunately, you outsiders always underestimate us."
Wang Wei frowned. He sensed a deadly aura spreading on his body. With his cultivation, his flesh and willpower are united, meaning as long as he remains mentally weak, nothing between Heaven and Earth can kill him. However, he still felt death was approaching.
"Your Willpower Manifestation," Wang Wei commented. "It’s so pure, condensed, and domineering. It appears it can dominate my will and nullify my [Immortality] and [Indestructibility]. Can you tell me why? Think of it as the request of a man dying."
"Why not?" Master Xunzi smiled calmly. "Willpower Manifestation, as you called it, is the lowest level. While you outsiders have developed its subtle manipulation to the pinnacle, you never transform it into higher powers. Above manifestation, there is Domination, and above that, there is the Saint Will, which can reject, destroy, and suppress all laws, rules, and phenomena."
"Will Domination and Saint Will...Hahaha, this world is truly going to be my time to shine."
Master Xunzi suddenly felt something was wrong, but it was too late. A blood sphere flew out of Wang Wei’s body and swallowed him. In a matter of nanoseconds, he turned into a blood droplet and was instantly sealed. Wang Wei calmly swallowed the blood. Since he didn’t know how this world killed its cultivators, he had developed countless sealing methods. However, Master Xunzi’s state of being was not his concern.
A terrifying power manifested on his palm, and he observed it calmly. Under his subtle manipulation, it was condensed, purified, and evolved; the last step was not smooth, but Wang Wei quickly figured it out. Since it’s all about domination, he added his own arrogance, superiority, and domineering nature into his Willpower Manifestation. Everybody wants to be the best, to be number one, but only one person can stand at the top.
The Emperor Path is inherently domineering. A Great Emperor is someone better than every cultivator in their generation. How overbearing it is to stand above millions of talents and boldly proclaim: I am the best. Wang Wei has suppressed an entire generation — an entire Golden Generation. His arrogance and superiority never manifested, as they were not his defining traits. But now that he needed such a state of mind to evolve, he easily tapped into it.
Crack!
His Willpower Manifestation broke apart. But that didn’t mean it had collapsed. No, sometimes, destruction is required for further creation or evolution. From the ashes of the old power, a new and more terrifying force was born: the Will Domination. The nature of this power was obvious: forcing everything between Heaven and Earth to bow to it, bending reality to its whim. It was raw, barbaric, and arrogant, but Wang Wei liked it. A smile crept on his face as he gazed at this new power.
"That’s not even my limit," he muttered. The power suddenly increased until it reached the peak, one step away from condensing the Saint Will, no, it should be called the Saint Will Prototype. After hearing what Master Xunzi said, Wang Wei realized what new trait he was on the verge of condensing. He used the previous enlightenment to fuel his Will Domination. Now, he only needs a small push to condense the new trait.
’By the time I leave this world, I will be a new man,’ Wang Wei thought, his eyes flashing with excitement. He looked in the distance before tearing the void apart. Before, such an action required immense force or subtle manipulation of Spatial Divine Ability, but now, he can twist the void to his will with his Will Domination.
The void tore apart, and Wang Wei appeared in the sky above Master Xunzi’s lackeys. He coldly glanced at them, and with a wave of his palm, they were instantly annihilated. Two of these people were Peak Paragons or Elder Fiendgod with Will Manifestation, but Wang Wei instantly overwhelmed them and granted them true death.
Such power and terrifying ability should have been a cause for celebration, but Wang Wei suddenly paused and frowned, "It would have been better to keep them alive and get information from them. It seems this new power can easily influence the mind."
No wonder Master Xunzi seemed a bit too arrogant for his own good. He could foresee how hotheaded and domineering the people of this world are, which is a good and bad thing for him. Wang Wei closed his eyes for a second to regain mental clarity. Then, with one step, he appeared before the hideout of the woman and child who were being hunted.
"You’re quite calm," Wang Wei said to the woman holding an infant. "Almost as if you were waiting for me."
"I am, and I was waiting," she replied nonchalantly.
"Your words would be more believable if not for your trembling muscles and fast beating heart," Wang Wei smiled.
Her body visibly paused, but her expression remained composed. "You can’t kill me."
"Why is that?" Wang Wei asked with a smile, not hiding how amusing he found this conversation.
"Ten thousand years ago, the Otherworldly Demons invaded this realm and caused mass chaos," the woman calmly stated. "However, after years of interaction, most of the upper echelons of the world know what you people are like: greedy and willing to do anything for power and rare resources."
"That’s a fair assessment," Wang Wei nodded. "So, you think you can offer me something?"
"I can. I can offer you something you desperately need: cultivation technique and access to the Primal Essence Source."
"Primal Essence Source? Is that what allows you to reach the Ancestral Fiendgod Realm?"
"It’s a bit more complex than that, but, yes."
"You’ve piqued my interest," Wang Wei nodded. "But, why should I believe you? Why can’t I get what I want from your soul?"
"Why don’t you try?"
"Oh?"
"Go ahead."
Wang Wei was intrigued by her boldness and confidence. With one glance, he entered her mind and sifted through all the memories. The normal ones were fine, but the ones about cultivation contained an extraordinary ban. With his method and limited power, he will have to spend countless yuan epochs to open even one memory.
"Can’t do it, can you?" the woman sneered. "More than 8000 years ago, the Heaven Splitting Holy Land and the Primordial Chaos Holy Land released a new ban technique to all the Ancestral Clans and factions of the realm, just to combat your people’s methods."
A glint flashed in Wang Wei’s eyes. The names of these two places immediately reminded him of Pangu and Hundunxi. "Are those two places the most powerful force in your world?"
"They are," the woman nodded. "Without them, your people would have caused even more slaughter and chaos."
Wang Wei had no comment about this. The cultivation was this cruel. He knew that if these natives were able to leave this place and reach Timeline NP89076H, they would have acted as barbarically as his own people were. For any cultivation civilization, new worlds mean an opportunity to plunder resources, knowledge, people, and even the Dao Fruit of the world’s civilization.
