Chapter 1337: Spying Void Empire: Part-3
Chapter 1337: Spying Void Empire: Part-3
Ashara Nightfire’s POV
But there was no response.
Now everyone moved toward the source, tension escalating… This was urgent!
The guard’s face remained slack, blood trickling between his lips.
“Shit!” another cursed, sweat beading on his brow before turning and running towards the source, “Come on, what are you waiting for?!”
“B-but Empre-”
“If those goods fall and are destroyed, she would turn into paste!!”
Everyone’s face turned paler even more as they rushed towards the source.
Meanwhile, the fallen guard lay still. For a breathless moment, nothing happened—no twitch, no gasp—just silence and the sickening scent of blood in the air.
Then, suddenly, his eyelids fluttered.
A wicked grin twisted his mouth as he sat up, slow and unnatural. He wiped the fake blood from his jaw, his eyes glittering with sly satisfaction. The other guards were too busy yelling and crowding around to notice the deceit.
Before looking up…
“Well, not a bad plan,” I muttered to myself. The taste of blood—real and fake—was thick in the air, making me lightheaded.
I let the illusion melt away.
I glanced back. The guards were shouting and shoving, nobody paying attention to the path they’d left wide open. A sly grin crept across my lips.
I slid into the shadows, slipping away before anyone could notice the trick.
’Are you sure about this? You just caused a big ruckus…’ Ashara’s voice slithered into my mind, edged with worry.
But I just shrugged, ’If you’ve got a better plan, then say it. Otherwise, shut your mouth and admire my craft~’ I replied.
I crept along the empty path… My boots landed softly, my eyes darted—searching for any flicker of movement. I could still hear the guards shouting behind me, the word “blood” whispered and hissed like a curse.
A few steps further, something glittered underfoot… a scattering of sharp, translucent crystals, glimmering faintly blue in the dim torch flames.
“Artificial crystals?” I murmured, crouching down.
These were power sources for machines, rare and valuable, yet here they littered the ground, abandoned among smashed crates.
“Were those inside the boxes?” I whispered, peering at the broken splinters, the scattered shards.
Had someone been smuggling weapons?
Or hiding something even stranger?
I walked deeper. The path sloped down into shadow, the air thick with the tang of dust and something metallic.
Still, not a single guard in sight. Only the sound of my own breath.
More broken boxes…. Inside, I glimpsed odd stones and veins of glowing rock—like chunks of fossilised lightning, pulsing with eerie, shifting colour.
“Hmm… What’s going on here?” I muttered.
My fingers trembled on my sword hilt as I kept moving, senses straining for the slightest warning.
A sudden breeze swept through the tunnel, cold and strange, carrying a whisper of something alive.
I froze—was that air? My skin prickled.
“Air?” I said, breathless, as the chill wrapped around me. The darkness ahead flickered, broken by a distant glow… warm, living light, barely visible around a bend.
’I think we found it,’ Ashara whispered, her voice now trembling with an edge of awe.
’Yeah…’ I grinned, ’You better be ready, your cock, fucker~’ I thought, forcing my fear into a cracked, wicked smile as I crept forward.
“Stop!”
But suddenly—voices echoed from up ahead, bouncing off the stone. I stiffened, pressed flat against the wall, my heart jackhammering in my chest.
“Hey, have you heard anything from the guards?”
A chill shot down my spine. I bit my lip to keep from cursing. Instinctively, I shrank into the shadows, breath held tight in my lungs.
’Calm down, Nightfire,’ Ashara hissed in my mind, desperate and serious. ’If they see you, it’s over.’
I nodded, swallowing, forcing myself to breathe slowly and shallow. Carefully, I peered around the corner.
Two men stood there, both massive—armoured from throat to toe, faces lost behind steel helms. One clutched his sword, eyes darting, mouth twisted in a suspicious frown. The other rested a hand on his companion’s shoulder, murmuring words I couldn’t quite catch, their tone dark and urgent.
“Weird night… I don’t like it,” the first muttered, glancing at the light flickering down the tunnel.
“Shut it. We’ll know if there’s trouble. Just keep your sword ready. Nothing comes through here that the Empress doesn’t want,” the second replied.
I drew back, sweat slicking my palms, heart still pounding. The path forward was blocked—guarded by monsters in steel.
’Fuck! Another set of guards?’ I clicked my tongue in annoyance, shrinking deeper into the shadows. For a second, I cursed my luck—but then my eyes narrowed.
It was just two of them. Just two.
I pressed my back to the damp stone, eavesdropping.
“Man… how long are we supposed to stay here? I’m so fucking tired and… horny as fuck!!” one guard groaned, rolling his head back against the wall. He sounded half-crazed with exhaustion, half-starved for something to feel.
The other laughed, a sharp, hollow bark. “Honestly, if you were a girl, I’d have fucked you already. Or even if you weren’t. Shit, after all these weeks, I’d take a hole in a barrel if it winked at me!” He spat, his voice breaking with bitter laughter.
“But what else is there? We’ve been stuck here for weeks—no sleep, no women, not even a break. I swear, I want to sleep more than I want to screw.”
Their words twisted into something desperate and strange—men losing themselves to the tunnel’s dark hunger.
I felt a wicked grin creep across my face, a twisted idea blooming in the shadows of my mind. My body moved before I thought; the blood-mesmer always demanded more.
I raised my hand, biting deep into my palm. Hot blood welled out, thick and dark, pooling in my cupped hand…. My eyes glowed with the thrill of it.
I whispered, words curling around the blood like smoke… The crimson liquid shimmered and quivered in my palm, then I blew on it softly—breathless, teasing. The blood rose as mist, swirling, hungry, as it floated toward the unsuspecting guards.
Sniff… Sniff…
The first guard’s nose wrinkled. “Man, did you smell that? Like something sweet… and weird—arrhh!” His eyes rolled back, hands trembling.
The other sucked in a shuddering breath, panting as his face flushed red.
“Wh-what the fuck? My skin’s on fire. D-Darling, is that you?~” His voice pitched high, trembling with sudden need.
“D-Dear, is that you? Gods, I missed you… come here, give me a deep sucki—oh, I need you so bad—”
I bit my lip to keep from laughing out loud.
Well, let’s not get into the details.
Their hands grabbed at each other, armour scraping, weapons falling to the ground with a metallic clatter. Their lips crashed together, desperate, tongues fighting, moans muffled by steel and flesh.
I stared, half-horrified, half-fascinated. The sheer weirdness of it nearly broke my composure.
My skill had never worked so fast, so wild—before, I could barely slip a man into a nightmare, or maybe tickle his lust for a second. Now I could turn two battle-hardened brutes into rutting animals, their shame lost in a haze of blood and magic.
’Damn… My skill really improved,’ I thought with a snicker, lips curling in satisfaction.
I might not be able to break bones or hurl fire, but I could make even monsters drop to their knees and be pegged by a man.
And even a monster would fuck a woman if I wanted—so messed up!
It was all thanks to that pervert who poured so much filthy power and twisted love into me.
The memory made me chuckle under my breath—low, sly, and dangerous.
Not wanting to witness more of the most disgusting mating I’d ever seen, I slid past, boots silent, cloak pressed to my body. The wet sounds, the grunts, the way their bodies tangled and writhed—disgusting and hilarious at the same time.
’Ashara, look at them! They’re fucking each other—armour off, dicks out, going at it like wild dogs—’
’Arrh! Stop, idiot! Just do the mission!’ she snapped in my mind, her voice shaking with embarrassment and disgust.
I laughed quietly, breathless with victory and a little horror, and slipped through the entrance they were meant to protect.
As I stepped inside, the world exploded with sensation… a sudden blast of wind whipped my hair back.
“W-What the…”
My eyes widened, pupils shrinking as blinding light washed over my face. As I vision adjusted to the light,
“OH… MY… FUCK!”
Those were the only words I managed as my jaw dropped. I stood, heart hammering, frozen in awe and disbelief at the impossible sight before my eyes.
