Chapter 6313: Rank Three True God
“I understand, big sister,” Chu Feng replied.
“Is there anything else you two want to talk about? Let it all out now. It’ll be a long time before you can meet again,” Long Zhuoyan told Chu Feng and Long Xiaoxiao.
“Take care, Chu Feng. Don’t push yourself too much. You should prioritize your safety no matter the situation. I’ll be waiting for you in the Ninth Galaxy,” Long Xiaoxiao said.
“Don’t worry, I’ll be there in no time,” Chu Feng replied.
Long Xiaoxiao chuckled. She had tremendous confidence in Chu Feng too. She turned to Long Zhuoyan and said, “Master, I’m done speaking my piece.”
“That’s all?” Long Zhuoyan was baffled. “You aren’t going to hug or anything?”
Long Xiaoxiao’s eyes reddened. She did harbor such a thought, but despite her composed front, being in the presence of a powerhouse like Long Zhuoyan still intimidated her. She dared not to let herself loose.
“Are you embarrassed? Shall I excuse myself for a moment?” Long Zhuoyan smiled in mischief.
Long Xiaoxiao’s face further reddened.
Chu Feng gentlemanly stepped forward and embraced Long Xiaoxiao. She was a close friend who had toiled through tough times with him. There was no saying when they would meet again. A hug wouldn’t have been out of place here.
Chu Feng’s sudden embrace flustered Long Xiaoxiao. By the time she snapped out of her daze and wanted to lean against his chest, he had already let go.
“Take care, Xiaoxiao,” Chu Feng said.
“You too,” Long Xiaoxiao replied gently.
“That’s all?” Long Zhuoyan asked once more.𝓯𝓻𝒆𝙚𝒘𝓮𝙗𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝒍.𝙘𝓸𝙢
“What else do you want, big sister? Do you want to come here so that the three of us can have a hug together?” Chu Feng smiled.
He knew Long Zhuoyan better, which allowed him to be less restrained around her.
“You punk.” Long Zhuoyan rolled her eyes. “If you two are done, I still have a few words for my little brother. You come here.”
Long Zhuoyan beckoned to Chu Feng, and the latter walked over.
“I have already warned you about whatever is out there, but since I’m your big sister, I can’t leave just like that. I’ve been to the Fortuitous Bloodline Mountain before, and resources are very important in that place. Take this. It’ll come in handy.”
Long Zhuoyan handed a palm-sized transparent stone to Chu Feng.
Chu Feng asked as he took the stone, “Big sister, how do I use this?”
The stone looked ordinary, and he couldn’t sense any energy in it.
“You’ll know once you enter the Fortuitous Bloodline Mountain. You should also assimilate this,” Long Zhuoyan said as she flicked her palm.
Before Chu Feng could see what she had on her palm, she was already pressing her hand against Chu Feng’s dantian area. Gentle energy harnessing martial enlightenment flowed into his dantian.
“Thank you, big sister.”
Chu Feng was overjoyed.
Knowing he had just received an invaluable cultivation resource, he quickly sat down to assimilate it on the spot. The sheer energy he had just received was enough for him to make a breakthrough on the spot.
Boom!
Nine-colored lightning crackled in space.
“Oh? My little brother’s phenomenon sure is shocking.”
Even Long Zhuoyan was impressed by the nine-colored lightning. She had seen nine-colored lightning phenomena before, but they had never been at this scale. Granted that she had heard rumors about it, it was still shocking to witness it in person.
The scale of the phenomenon usually correlated to the extent of one’s talent. This astounding phenomenon gave her a better grasp of how powerful Chu Feng’s Heavenly Lightning Bloodline was. At the very least, it surpassed what she had seen in the Ancient Era.
The nine-colored lightning whizzed down, but Chu Feng emerged unscathed. The lightning eventually dissipated.
Chu Feng’s cultivation advanced from rank two to rank three True God level.
As soon as he opened his eyes, Long Zhuoyan asked, “How are you feeling?”
“I feel great. Your cultivation resource is amazing,” Chu Feng replied with a beaming smile.
“I could have helped you advance a few more cultivation ranks, but advancing gradually will be more beneficial to your future. I have met many people with decent talent and ample resources, but they advance their cultivation so quickly that their foundation becomes unstable. This led to them meeting a bottleneck due to a gap in their enlightenment,” Long Zhuoyan said.
“I understand,” Chu Feng smiled.
“Good.”
Long Zhuoyan opened a teleportation passageway in the middle of space with a wave of her sleeves.
Long Xiaoxiao was flabbergasted, but Chu Feng was unsurprised. Long Zhuoyan used to be one of the top figures in the Ancient Era, after all. Her means were bound to be anything but ordinary.
“This teleportation passageway leads straight to the entrance of the Fortuitous Bloodline Mountain. You’re heading there, right?” Long Zhuoyan asked.
“Mmhm.” Chu Feng nodded.
“Hurry along.” Long Zhuoyan pushed Chu Feng into the teleportation passageway.
A cloud manifested beneath Chu Feng’s feet as he entered the teleportation passageway, greatly increasing the speed of his travel.
Eggy’s voice echoed in his ears, “Chu Feng, shouldn’t you warn Long Xiaoxiao to be wary of that big sister of yours? That woman was known as a demoness in the Ancient Era.”
“There’s no point mentioning that when Xiaoxiao has already chosen to follow Long Zhuoyan. She’s bound to encounter other dangers in the world of cultivation anyway, so it would be wiser for her to go with Long Zhuoyan. Besides, my big sister seems to be a reliable person, though she seems to have her own thoughts about things...” Chu Feng said.
He had wanted to ask Long Zhuoyan if she was the one who had constructed a formation around the Immemorial Storage Realm to stop the sealed energy from escaping. But on second thought, he decided not to probe.
He already had an answer in his mind anyway, and Long Zhuoyan likely had her reason for doing it secretly too.
He could at least sense goodwill from Long Zhuoyan.
“That’s true. Good and evil are two sides of a coin. I bet many think you are a villain too! ” Eggy said with a laugh.
“That’s true.” Chu Feng chuckled.
That was why he didn’t think he was a good person. In the first place, there was no way to satisfy everyone, so he was never concerned about how others viewed him. All that mattered to him was to keep a clear conscience.
