Chapter 6351: Ye Xiancheng

Chapter 6351: Ye Xiancheng

The Ye Immortal Clan stripped and stored the cultivation of their dying pinnacle True God level clansmen. Over the generations, the stored energy accumulated to a terrifying degree, and that became known as the Immortal Legacy.

Over the generations, the stored energy became incredibly powerful.

However, the fusion of so many energies, no matter how well they were combined, was bound to be violent.

According to the nine targets, their incumbent clan chief had fused with the Immortal Legacy more impeccably than anyone else had since the Ancient Era. He obtained supreme fighting prowess through that; no one was a match for their clan chief within the same cultivation rank.

But the downside was that their clan chief couldn’t raise his cultivation or fighting prowess through his bloodline. His base cultivation was his strongest state.

A junior becoming the clan chief, no matter how talented they were, was bound to invite skepticism from the other clansmen. The current strength of the clan chief was more important than their potential.

But it was a different story for this clan chief.

Chu Feng had placed the nine targets under his control, forcing them to speak their minds unreservedly. Yet, they were filled with compliments for their junior clan chief, saying that he had an excellent character. Even though he had a big temper and had berated many clansmen to date, none harbored any grudge against him for that.

Their clan chief, under the influence of the Immortal Legacy, was named Ye Xiancheng.

Chu Feng had asked those questions to get a grasp of the Ye Immortal Clan’s strength and situation, but what he was more concerned about was finding clues about his grandmother’s whereabouts.

And the Ye Immortal Clan did have clues on his grandmother.

The remnant torched by flames had contained cultivation resources, but no one noticed them until an abrupt inferno caught their attention. The flame went out shortly after, but the extreme temperature persisted, making it hard to approach the remnant.

But someone spotted an old woman walking out from that remnant, and she was none other than Chu Feng’s grandmother.

By the time the Ye Immortal Clan arrived, Chu Feng’s grandmother was already gone. They were able to enter the scorching remnant, but there were hardly any cultivation resources left in there.

They had sealed off the remnant to conduct a more thorough search of the area to see if there were other treasures in there. They seemed to be searching for a specific treasure, but none of the nine targets knew what that treasure was.

For that, their clan chief, grand elders, and other elites had traveled to this realm.

There was another important clue.

An important figure from the Ye Immortal Clan was frolicking alone in this realm. He was the clan chief’s older brother, born to the same father and mother. He was known as Ninth Young Master because he was the ninth sibling.

His talent paled far in comparison to Ye Xiancheng. He lacked ambition, and he had terrible character, too. He was the scum of the Ye Immortal Clan, committing all kinds of atrocities.

He was currently alone in this realm’s Flowing Sun City. It was not that the clan didn’t dispatch guards to protect him, but that he didn’t want people to follow him and get in the way of his fun.

The Ye Immortal Clansmen weren’t fond of Ninth Young Master, but they dared not disobey him.

Ninth Young Master was nine thousand years old, but his cultivation was still stuck at early True God level.

Chu Feng asked a few more questions before erasing the nine targets’ memories about him and lifting the formation.

The nine targets didn’t sense anything amiss; they continued their journey right away.

Chu Feng remained on the spot, deep in thought.

“Sounds like your grandmother was here, Chu Feng. The Ye Immortal Clan must be looking for your grandmother since they covet what was inside the remnant,” Eggy said.

“We might be able to use Ninth Young Master to get more useful information. Otherwise, we can also have him order the Ye Immortal Clan to search for my grandmother’s whereabouts. It helps to have more people looking for her,” Chu Feng said.

“Let’s go capture him. Why are there scums in every clan? Such people are a waste of space in the world. We’d be doing the world a favor by vanquishing him from the face of the world,” Eggy said.

“Milady Queen, why did you become such a caring person?” Chu Feng asked.

“I have always been a caring person,” Eggy scoffed.

“Of course, of course.” Chu Feng dared not refute her.

He moved carefully despite those nine saying that no one was protecting Ninth Young Master. Just because they were being honest didn’t mean their information was accurate. Thus, he constructed a more potent concealment formation around him.

With his prowess as a world spiritist, even Heavenly God level cultivators would struggle to find him unless he revealed himself.

But Chu Feng failed to find Ninth Young Master in Flowing Sun City—the latter had moved elsewhere. Fortunately, Ninth Young Master had left some clues about his trail, so Chu Feng could still track him down.

While Chu Feng was searching for Ninth Young Master, the Ye Immortal Clan’s army arrived outside the remnant where the God Mother died.

The Ye Immortal Clan’s Clan Chief, the two grand elders, and the guest elder entered the remnant together. A while later, they stumbled upon Chu Feng’s unconscious grandmother.

“It’s her?”

The Ye Immortal Clan’s Clan Chief and the two grand elders were astonished.

“Father, mother, is she the one who killed our elders?” the clan chief asked.

They had long noticed this old woman, but the Ye Immortal Clan paid no heed to her, thinking that she couldn’t pose a threat to them. But now, they had no choice but to take her seriously. Putting all things aside, the heat lingering here was much stronger than the other remnant they sealed off.

The terrifying flames had appeared in not just one remnant but two. And this old woman just so happened to be lying unconscious here. It was hard to believe that she didn’t have anything to do with those flames.

“It’s hard to say, but it is highly suspicious that she has appeared in both remnants. We can’t underestimate her,” one of the grand elders said.

“It’s her,” the guest elder suddenly remarked.

The Ye Immortal Clan’s Clan Chief turned over and asked, “Guest elder, do you recognize her?”

“You must have heard about Chu Feng, right?” the guest elder asked.

“I have. There are all kinds of rumors about him. Not only is he the strongest junior in the present world of cultivation, but it’s also said that he has obtained the legendary Genesis Bloodline?” the clan chief replied.

“The rumors are true, and this old woman is likely to be Chu Feng’s grandmother,” the guest elder replied.
