Chapter 6418: Peach Blossom Luck

Xiahou Jue looked at his bleeding palm and suddenly burst into laughter. It started as a chuckle, but it quickly grew unnervingly louder and manic.

Everyone from the Heavensword Sacred Palace stood at attention, ready to launch follow-up attacks.

But the Heavensword Sacred Palace’s Palace Master quickly realized something was amiss. The red aura looked threatening, but Xiahou Jue’s presence had vanished. Only his laughter continued to echo in the tombstone realm.

“The Heavensword Sacred Palace? I’ll remember you.”

The red aura dissipated with the wind, and Xiahou Jue’s silhouette vanished into thin air.

“Huh? Is it a feint? Is he just putting on an act to slip away?” Eighth Zhao asked.

It was clear to everyone that Xiahou Jue had escaped. Those from the Heavensword Sacred Palace weren’t surprised, as they knew how strong their Heavensword Sacred Formation was.

“That’s all the Netherworld Sect amounts to!”

The Palace Master waved her sleeves, and their formation and the two humongous light swords dissipated.

Chu Feng rushed to Eighth Zhao’s side to inspect his injuries. Eighth Zhao had stopped in time to preserve his life and his cultivation, but his body would never be the same as before.

News about the battle’s conclusion quickly spread. The Zhao Heavenly Clansmen, the Ye Heavenly Clansmen, and the Divine Body Heavenly Mansion’s members quickly entered the tombstone realm.

“What’s wrong, father?” Zhao Zhuyin and the others were concerned.

“I’m fine.” Eighth Zhao grinned. Despite his aged appearance, he was still as carefree and vibrant as before.

“My apologies for arriving late, young friend Chu Feng.” The Heavensword Sacred Palace’s Palace Master went up to Chu Feng with her elites.

“Don’t say that, elder. We would have struggled to deal with Xiahou Jue if you weren’t here.” Chu Feng stood up and bowed.

“Young friend Chu Feng, we’re only doing what we must. This was Lord Qingyuan’s instruction, after all,” the Palace Master said.

Eighth Zhao, Zhao Daobin, and the others were taken aback.

“Lord Qingyuan? Which Lord Qingyuan?”

Even Ye Xiancheng’s parents, who were recuperating some distance away, cast their gazes over. The word ‘Qingyuan’ was too striking for them to overlook.

The Ancient Era races had records of the events that transpired in the Ancient Era.

Faced with the curious gazes of the two immortal clans’ experts, the Palace Master replied, “Your question suggests that you have records of Lord Qingyuan. Yes, the Lord Qingyuan I speak of is the renowned prodigy of our Heavensword Sacred Palace back in the Ancient Era, Tianjian Qingyuan.”

The Zhao Immortal Clansmen and the Ye Immortal Clansmen were flabbergasted.

“Tianjian Qingyuan has survived to the present era?”

Tianjian Qingyuan was still a junior when she first rose to prominence. Her astounding talent was the reason her name appeared in the records of countless clans.

Not much was known about her afterward, but with her level of talent, her cultivation must have risen to an unimaginable level if she had survived from the Ancient Era to the present era.

With Tianjian Qingyuan’s backing, no power within the eight galaxies would dare challenge the Heavensword Sacred Palace.

While reeling in shock, some Zhao Immortal Clansmen and Ye Immortal Clansmen subconsciously glanced at Chu Feng. This would explain why the lofty Heavensword Sacred Palace had rushed to Chu Feng’s aid and was so amicable to him.

It turned out Chu Feng had ties with Tianjian Qingyuan.

This filled them with relief. They were glad that they had chosen to befriend Chu Feng.

“Chu Feng, are you injured?” Tianjian Canhua stepped forward and asked out of concern.

“I’m fine,” Chu Feng replied.

“That’s good to hear.” Tianjian Canhua smiled. Her friendly attitude made it seem as if there had been no conflict between them.

Chu Feng turned to Tuoba Yijian and Tuoba Tianxue. “Brothers, we meet again.”

Tuoba Yijian and Tuoba Tianxue greeted Chu Feng with a smile, but they didn’t speak much. They had been relaxed and confident the last time they met Chu Feng, but now, they appeared reserved.

From where they stood, Chu Feng could tell that they were indeed prodigies in the Heavensword Sacred Palace, but they were nowhere near on par with Tianjian Canhua.

The Heavensword Sacred Palace had two clan names—Tianjian and Tuoba. Those from the Tuoba lineage were beneath those from the Tianjian lineage.

Chu Feng first traded some pleasantries with the Heavensword Sacred Palace before informing them about the Seven Stars Orbs.

“To think such dangers lurked within the Immemorial Cemetery.” The Palace Master was surprised, but she decisively chose her stance, “Young friend Chu Feng, feel free to command our Heavensword Sacred Palace.”

“I’m sure we’ll overcome this crisis with the Heavensword Sacred Palace’s aid,” Chu Feng replied with a confident smile.

“Are you certain the sixth star is here? I have looked around the realm, but I don’t see a tombstone anywhere,” the Palace Master said.

“The tombstone is hidden, but I know the method to make it appear,” Chu Feng said.

This method could be used by cultivators and world spiritists. The higher one’s cultivation was, the greater the ease in making the tombstone appear.

The Palace Master was overjoyed. “It would have been much more difficult to overcome this crisis if not for young friend Chu Feng.”

Chu Feng responded with a smile as he shared the method with the Palace Master.

“Chu Feng,” a voice suddenly echoed. It was Ye Xiancheng.

He had first checked on his parents as they were injured, and only after confirming his parents were fine did he head over to Chu Feng’s side.

“Who is this lady?” Ye Xiancheng’s attention was immediately drawn to Tianjian Canhua.

“Tianjian Canhua,” Tianjian Canhua replied.

“What a graceful name! I am Ye Xiancheng, the Ye Immortal Clan’s Clan Chief,” Ye Xiancheng first introduced himself before bowing to the Palace Master. “Paying respect to the Heavensword Sacred Palace’s Palace Master.”

“You’re too polite, Ye Immortal Clan’s Clan Chief. It’s incredible someone as young as you is already taking on such a heavy burden,” the Palace Master replied.

After trading some pleasantries, the Palace Master took her leave to make the tombstone appear. Tianjian Canhua followed her.

Ye Xiancheng’s gaze followed Tianjian Canhua.

“Have you fallen in love?” Chu Feng asked.

“Nay, I have decided to seal off my heart after what happened with Song Yun. I’ll devote myself to my career,” Ye Xiancheng replied.

“Then why do you keep looking at her?” Chu Feng was skeptical.

“Just because I’m not in love doesn’t mean I can’t appreciate beauty.” Ye Xiancheng leaned closer to Chu Feng and whispered, “I think Miss Miaomiao is prettier. Haven’t you realized that Miss Miaomiao and Tianjian Canhua look at you with peculiar eyes? You are truly blessed with peach blossom luck.”

Ye Xiancheng’s eyes brimmed with envy.

Before Chu Feng could reply, Ye Xiancheng suddenly directed his gaze elsewhere. His eyes lit up as he blurted out a curse, “Holy shit.”

Little Fishy and the others were making their way over.
