Chapter 4503: Flying Away

Chapter 4503: Flying Away

A few minutes later, the last specks of the fruit’s energy were absorbed by my body.

I wanted to slump down and sleep, but instead I started taking deep breaths, while healing energy spread into my body, healing my injuries.

I am injured right now. I need some time to recover, and I’ve also been tracking my progress on the scale to see how my strength has increased.

Soon, I was in my core, looking at my meta-scan with my eyes wide open.

’No wonder people call it a last place before the breakthrough,’ I said to myself. I had made massive progress. Far more than I had thought.

I am now really close to the limit. It won’t be long before I reach it, and I am not just talking about the physical limit, but also the forbidden one.

It made me happy, but also somber.

I nearly died, and I can’t say it is worth it, given how close I came to death. The next time, I would be more careful; strength is essential, but nothing compared to life.

As long as I am alive. I will get many chances to get stronger.

I looked at every part of me, and only when I was satisfied, I walk toward the library. I reached there a few minutes later and sat down.

It is the last thing I want to do, but I have to.

I took a deep breath before my finger started to draw the runes. I may have got a huge increase in the physical, soul, and forbidden, but it is nothing compared to my laws.

My laws should have taken several years to reach their peak, but they had taken only one session.

The energies aren’t wholly responsible for it. My experience and knowledge of the rules also help me comprehend it faster.

I am not the only one making such progress here. Most of those who come from the lower worlds make higher progress here compared to the natives.

It took a while, but finally I finished and slumped on the floor.

These runes will greatly assist with my inheritance, and I would greatly appreciate the help. Seeing that I am so close to the limit.

I will now have to focus more on inheritance. So, I could finish it quickly and advance to the Peak level of Sky Sovereign.

Then I could start working on the Prime inheritance.

I pushed that thought away and kept breathing in and out. I would rather sleep than do it, but this is not the place to sleep. I could rest at rest.

That is what I am doing.

A few minutes passed, and I felt a little better. I left the library and checked the meta-scan. The healing is progressing smoothly; I will go out.

So, I started checking on other things, and before I knew it, over an hour had passed.

My injuries haven’t fully recovered, but they’re good enough for me to use my full power. That is more than enough; the rest of them would heal over the sleep.

"Congratulations, Prime Arys," said Dynvar as I opened my eyes. "Thank you, Prime Dynvar," I said mutely.

"It seemed like it didn’t help you as much as I had expected it would," she said, and I shook my head. "It did, just not enough," I replied.

She seemed like, she wanted to say something, but didn’t.

I didn’t say anything either and got up. "Do you not need to recover?" she asked. "I will, when we stop for the night in a few hours," I replied.

She needs rest more than I do, as she suffered and would have died. If I hadn’t helped her on time.

We took to the air, filled with excitement. A lot of people were looking at us, but not a single one dared to move. Some might have, if they had not seen the fruits we had picked up.

I looked at a man from Alkaz. He is sitting alone with his eyes closed.

There is no one there to protect him, but not a single soul moved toward him. There might be cultists, but they wouldn’t dare to move against him openly.

If they do, then others will move to stop them.

They will do it, not because of the goodness of their hearts, but because if they did not. Then Alkaz might label them cultists, and it will be the end of them.

Even their organization would be in trouble; they don’t want something like that to happen.

"He chose the fruit from the same branch as me," informed Dynvar, seeing me looking at him. I am not surprised; he felt strong.

"He is strong. You should be careful if you every go against him," I cautioned.

Eating the fruit, Dynvar had become one of the strongest Primes in the world. It wouldn’t be long before she would attempt to make a breakthrough into Silver Prime, but that man is the same.

So, he is her equal, and fighting against such an opponent is always tough, but they also battle where one challenges oneself and learns the most.

I sighed and looked at the massive tree, absorbing its energy. I could feel it more clearly.

Its power is vast, and I believe, even Golden Prime would be hard-pressed against it. It is the center of the marsh, with its roots spreading far and wide.

There is immense power coursing through them. I shudder at the thought of what would happen if someone dared to attack this tree.

Those of higher power seemed to understand that, as they did not dare to move against it.

Minutes passed, and finally, we reached the end of its domain and flew out of it. The difference is stark; I felt like a huge invisible weight lifted off my shoulders.

"The tree was helpful, but I am glad to get out of its domain." Said Dynvar, sounding relieved. I didn’t reply to it, except to smile.
