Chapter 818: Anna Grace Is Worried
Chapter 818: Anna Grace Is Worried
They could hardly believe it—the Elven Queen, Mireya, was also Yuan’s wife. The revelation stunned every ogre in the hut, their gazes fixed on him with baffled expressions.
The Queen of Elves, famed as the coldest woman in the entire Beast Continent, had fallen for a human. To them, it was unthinkable.
“A-Are you truly claiming to be the husband of that icy woman?!” Malgar’s voice trembled, his brows furrowed as he searched Yuan’s eyes for even the faintest lie. “How is this even possible? That woman despises humans like you!”
“He’s telling the truth, Lord Malgar. If you doubt us, you’re free to ask Sister Mireya yourself.” Valeria spoke with calm confidence, her lips curving into a knowing smile.
But Malgar shook his head, then let out a low chuckle. “There’s no need to go that far, Lady Valeria. I believe you both.”
He leaned back on his throne, his voice steady but thoughtful. “I’ve lived more than two centuries. In that time, I’ve met countless people, each trying to deceive me in one way or another. But I can always tell when someone is lying. From you two, I sense no deception.”
“Thank you for believing in us, Lord Malgar,” Yuan replied warmly, a faint smile on his lips.
Malgar’s expression softened before he leaned forward again. “Yuan, may I ask something personal? It’s of great importance.”
“If it concerns the Dragon Blood Tribe or the Elven Kingdom, I’ll gladly answer. Please, ask.” Yuan responded with a polite nod.
“Oh? You’re quite perceptive for someone so young.” Malgar chuckled lightly, though his eyes soon sharpened. “And yes, you’ve guessed correctly. It’s about the Dragon Blood Tribe.”
He leaned on the armrest of his throne, his tone low and deliberate. “Recently, I received word that Queen Mireya destroyed Kaelrath—one of that bastard’s greatest prides. Tell me, is the rumor true?”
“It’s true,” Yuan confirmed with a firm nod. “But we didn’t intervene. Mireya and Sylvia handled everything themselves. We only watched as spectators.”
“I see…” Malgar’s brows knitted together. “But why not lend them your strength, considering how powerful you are?”
“Because I trust my wives,” Yuan answered without hesitation, pride glimmering in his eyes. “They are strong enough to stand on their own. They don’t need me to fight their battles.”
Malgar studied him for a long moment before nodding slowly, a faint smile tugging at his lips. “Such trust in your women… admirable indeed.”

Later, Yuan, Valeria, and Vrasha returned to her hut. Vrasha kindled the fire and prepared a meal, filling the air with the scent of roasted meat.
When they had eaten their fill, Vrasha seated herself beside Yuan. Her golden eyes softened as she regarded him, though a trace of sadness lingered deep within.
“When will you return to the Elven Kingdom?” she asked quietly, hiding her sorrow behind a composed expression.
Seeing the expression on her face, Yuan suddenly pulled Vrasha into his embrace, settling her on his lap before saying softly, “I think we’ll return to the Elven Kingdom by evening. My other wives must already be worried about us. After all, we only came here for some fresh air.”
“Yuan is right,” Valeria added firmly. “We can’t linger here, or else they’ll come searching. And believe me, your tribe cannot afford to provoke them.”
Her tone softened into a smile as she continued, “But you can come with us if you wish. After all, you’re my husband’s woman now. And there’s so much you still need to learn about us.”
“That’s right,” Yuan said warmly as he gently caressed Vrasha’s hand, his eyes fixed on hers with quiet anticipation. “Come with us to the Elven Palace. There are many things I want to teach you about our family.”
Vrasha’s thoughts grew hazy as she stared at him. She didn’t want Yuan to leave her side—especially since she hadn’t even mated with him yet. Despite her warrior’s strength, she was still a pure woman with no experience in such intimacy.
’I don’t want him to go… but he can’t remain in the tribe, and I can’t chain him here. He doesn’t belong in this place. What should I do?’ Her mind swirled with conflict, torn between desire and reason.
At last, she nodded, her decision firm. “Alright. I’ll go with you. I also want to meet my other sisters. I only wonder… will they accept me? No human has ever taken an ogre as a mate before—you’re the first.”
“I’m certain they’ll welcome you with open arms. My wives are unique—you’ll come to like them as much as they’ll like you.” Yuan chuckled before lifting her chin gently, pressing his lips against hers.
Vrasha’s eyes widened at the sudden kiss, her heart pounding. But as Yuan’s arms wrapped tightly around her, warmth overcame her surprise. Slowly, she closed her eyes and melted into the embrace, savoring the kiss.
“Yuan, don’t forget about me,” Valeria teased in a sultry tone as she slipped her arms around him from behind. “I’m also your wife, you know. I deserve some attention too.”
“Sorry, Valeria,” Yuan said quickly as he broke the kiss with Vrasha and pulled Valeria into his arms.
“It’s fine. I know exactly how you feel, you shameless pervert.” Valeria giggled softly before locking her arms around his neck, her lips pressing against his in a fiery, passionate kiss.
—
Meanwhile, at the Elven Palace, Anna Grace sat on Mireya’s bed while the others lounged idly, boredom clouding their faces in Yuan’s absence.
Anna Grace hadn’t slept a wink through the night. She missed her darling far too much. For as long as she could remember, she had fallen asleep with her arms and legs wrapped around him. Without Yuan at her side, the bed felt unbearably empty—and so did she.
“Why aren’t Yuan and Valeria back yet? Just where did they go?” Lily muttered in boredom, rolling back and forth on the massive bed.
’I miss him so much… It feels so empty without him here with us…’ she thought, hugging the blanket with a faint pout.
“I’ll give him a proper beating once he returns,” Anna Grace said coldly, her anger written clearly across her face. “How could he and Valeria leave us worried like this? He needs to take responsibility.”
“Could it be that he found another sister for us?” Emma chimed in with a mischievous smile, glancing at Anna Grace. “It wouldn’t be that surprising, don’t you think?”
“Well, now that you say it, that’s actually possible. After all, he is a shameless pervert, and we all know it.” Rose chuckled softly, shaking her head.
Leah crossed her arms, her expression unreadable. “I don’t know why, but I have this feeling he really has found another woman to join our group. Maybe it’s just a hunch… but we’ll find out soon enough when he comes back.”
Just then, the door creaked open, and Mireya walked in with Kitsura. Both of them immediately noticed the tense atmosphere and the curious looks on everyone’s faces.
“Well, ladies, what kind of secret discussion are you having? Care to let me in on it?” Kitsura asked with a playful smile as she sat beside Vanessa on the bed.
“Are Yuan and Valeria still not back yet?” Mireya asked calmly, seating herself next to Anna Grace, her eyes searching for an answer.
“No, they haven’t returned,” Anna Grace replied with a sharp snort. “And when he does, I’m giving him a lesson for making me worry. He has no right to make his own mother feel this way.”
Mireya chuckled softly. “Calm down, Mother-in-law. He’ll return soon enough. No one on this continent has the ability to harm him.”
’Mother-in-law?’ Kitsura’s eyes widened slightly. ’So she’s Yuan’s mother? But she looks so young and stunning… anyone would mistake her for his sister.’
Then, a sudden realization struck her, freezing her thoughts. ’Wait… didn’t Mireya introduce this woman as his wife? How could she be both his mother and his wife at the same time?’
Her eyes widened even more, her mind racing. ’Could it be true…? She’s both his mother and his wife? This revelation… is too shocking.’
However, she chose to remain silent about it and not confront Anna Grace. After all, it was their personal matter, and she didn’t want to interfere before truly becoming a part of the family.
—
“Are you ready to leave now?” Yuan asked as he turned to Vrasha, noticing how she appeared both nervous and eager about meeting her new family.
“I’m ready. Let’s go, we need to cross the mountains before nightfall,” Vrasha replied with a firm nod, glancing at him and Valeria.
Yuan shook his head with a faint smile. “We’re not returning to the Elven Kingdom on foot or horseback. We have a much faster way of traveling—it’ll only take us a few minutes to reach there.”
“What?! That can’t be possible!” Vrasha gasped in disbelief, her eyes widening. She had never once heard of such a method that could shorten travel so drastically.
“Of course, it’s possible. But only we are capable of using this method, no one else,” Valeria assured her with a knowing smile, before suddenly retrieving her sword from her spatial ring.
Vrasha’s confusion deepened the moment she saw the radiant red blade in Valeria’s grasp. What in the world was she planning to do with that sword?
Then, just as calmly, Yuan also drew his own weapon from his system storage. The instant her gaze fell on the massive blade in his hand, Vrasha froze in place, utterly mesmerized by its sheer presence and flawless design.
“What kind of sword is this? I… I don’t even know how to describe the feeling it gives me…” Vrasha whispered, her voice trembling slightly as she stared at it in a daze, completely entranced by the weapon’s otherworldly beauty.
“This is a Soul Weapon—a weapon with a will of its own. The most remarkable thing about Soul Weapons is that they grow alongside their master,” Yuan explained, gazing at the sword with a gentle smile.
Vrasha, however, looked utterly lost. His words sounded mysterious, and everything felt confusing to her.
“Well, I’ll explain it properly later. For now, let’s head back to the Elven Kingdom,” Yuan said with a faint smile before tossing the sword into the air. To Vrasha’s astonishment, it didn’t fall but hovered steadily, defying gravity itself.
“What the—?! Why isn’t the sword falling?!” Vrasha cried out, dumbfounded.
“I’ll tell you later, alright, my wife?” Yuan said softly as he guided the sword lower, close to the ground. “Now, climb on. We’ll be riding this sword back to the Elven Kingdom.”
“A-Are you sure about this? Won’t I fall off?” Vrasha’s voice trembled as hesitation clouded her face.
Yuan chuckled warmly. “Don’t worry, I’ll be holding you the entire time. Trust me, now get on.”
“Alright… if you’ll be with me, then I’m not afraid anymore,” Vrasha replied with a smile, stepping onto the floating sword. Yuan joined her and gently wrapped his arms around her waist.
“Are you ready to fly, my dear?” Yuan whispered as the sword slowly lifted, rising higher into the sky.
“I’m ready, Hubby.” Vrasha’s eyes shone with excitement.
“As you wish, my love.” The very next moment, the sword shot forward at a terrifying speed, tearing through the air and leaving powerful sonic booms in their wake.
