Chapter 2641: Searching for the White Tiger Seer III

The Seer of the White Tiger of the West waited for the opportune moment and then jumped backwards. The Hacking Reaper of the Blood Haze smiled as he was already expecting the seer to do something related to the pool of energy present in the area. He did not follow just because he felt like it but because he wanted to see the seer struggle. The hunt will not be enjoyable for him if the prey will just offer its head to him after all.

The Hacking Reaper of the Blood Haze suddenly threw his blades towards the seer. The seer used her enhanced body to tank the hit but there was something different as the blades did not even hit her. The blades just went past her current location but the Hacking Reaper of the Blood Haze suddenly vanished when she looked back.

“Looking for me?” The Hacking Reaper of the Blood Haze asked as he appeared behind the seer and delivered a powerful kick that sent her flying to the other side.

The seer crashed onto a wall on the opposite side of the small pond. The Hacking Reaper of the Blood Haze, on the other hand, threw one of his blades towards the ground near the crash area of the seer. When the blade is planted onto the ground, the Hacking Reaper of the Blood Haze appeared shortly after.

“A cursed soul weapon! How many beings did you slaughter to cultivate such a dreadful weapon.” The Seer of the White Tiger of the West stated as she could feel the immense dark energy coating the blades of the Hacking Reaper of the Blood Haze.

“As expected, beings such as yourself are very knowledgeable. Entertain me more and more!” The Hacking Reaper of the Blood Haze stated with a crazed smile as he dashed towards the seer in a crazed manner and attempted to scar her beautiful face.

Just as the Hacking Reaper of the Blood Haze is about to permanently scar the face of the seer, two beings manifesting from a red mist suddenly pointed their daggers towards his head. Feeling the sudden bloodlust of these two beings, the Hacking Reaper of the Blood Haze shifted the direction of his blades to deflect the daggers of the beings that suddenly arrived.

The two beings that had red hair flinched as the bloodlust of the Hacking Reaper of the Blood Haze is shifted to them. It was an incredibly thick bloodlust that made them shudder because they already encountered beings that have such qualities. The beings with this intense bloodlust are either tyrants or powerful assassins in the level of a demigod.

“OHOH! It seems that the seer is being protected by her clan even though she already renounced her ties with it.” The Hacking Reaper of the Blood Haze stated as he thought that the reinforcements is due to the fact that the Seer of the White Tiger of the West is of the prestigious Peng Clan in the eastern continent.

“They are not guards from my family. We do not have anyone that practices the stealth arts. The Peng Clan is a warrior clan that believes in the creed that might makes right and that a powerful body is a powerful weapon.” The Seer of the White Tiger of the West thought as she also put her guard up.

“Adding two more should be no problem.” The Hacking Reaper of the Blood Haze stated as he smiled as he will be harvesting more energy than he thought.

The Hacking Reaper of the Blood Haze moved while the two vampire players could only grit their teeth as the intense attacks of the enemy has started. The two managed to hold on but all they could do is defend against the attacks of the enemy. They were only given a moment to breathe when the werewolf player and the dark elf player arrived to help.

The werewolf player tried to bite the neck of the Hacking Reaper of the Blood Haze, but the latter could twist his body in an abnormal degree. The sneak attack that would have ripped up the neck of the enemy failed and he was the one that is sent flying by a powerful kick from the Hacking Reaper of the Blood Haze. The dark elf player used the chance to pierce the Hacking Reaper of the Blood Haze with his weapon but even that failed.

The Hacking Reaper of the Blood Haze could also twist his body to an inhuman degree which made it possible to block the daggers of the dark elf player. Even with all four of them attacking together, the Hacking Reaper of the Blood Haze did not even break a sweat in blocking their attacks. The Hacking Reaper of the Blood Haze thought that another two added to his victims is not a problem as he believed of the concept of the more, the merrier.

The Hacking Reaper of the Blood Haze believed that there was no one else as he even used internal energy to scan the area and only five life signatures could be detected. The life signature of the seer, the two vampires, the dark elf and the werewolf. Believing that no one else can come to them, the Hacking Reaper of the Blood Haze twisted his body back to normal to use a martial skill that will kill at least one of the targets before him.

As if a mosquito just landed and drank the blood of another, the Hacking Reaper of the Blood Haze felt a small prick from behind him. It was the prick of a sharp golden nail from a woman that is dressed like a kunoichi. The Hacking Reaper of the Blood Haze suddenly swung his dagger behind him in an attempt to kill the one that snuck an attack on him. It was an instinctual attack backed by fear of the unknown which is something that the Hacking Reaper of the Blood Haze thought he already erased from his emotions.

The blades did not reach Awraka though as she immediately backed up when she landed the attack. The Hacking Reaper of the Blood Haze was about to say something when he saw the mark that is generated by the area that was hit by his new enemy. The black butterfly made the Hacking Reaper of the Blood Haze shiver because this was the mark of the most famous assassin of the eastern continent.

The black butterfly is an indicator that one is now called the Black Wind of the East. A title only handed to an assassin that is said to have mastered the brutal ways of moving in lightspeed. The Black Wind of the East is also one of the assassins that the Hacking Reaper of the Blood Haze actually fled from. He was toyed with by the Black Wind of the East to the point where any news of her being in the area would make him flee.

“Impossible! The Black Wind of the East is dead! There was also no news of a disciple.” The Hacking Reaper of the Blood Haze stated as this really is major news for the eastern continent.

“And it must stay that way.” Awraka stated as she appeared behind the Hacking Reaper of the Blood Haze once again.

Awraka attempted to pierce the butterfly mark she left, but the Hacking Reaper of the Blood Haze is able to block her attack. It seems that the Hacking Reaper of the Blood Haze is familiar with her move set to the point that he can block attacks from her poisoned nail via instinct. Awraka did not mind as she knew that she is still not at the level of her master that taught her, but she has her ways to defeat enemies aware of her skill set.

Awraka is swallowed by the shadows and vanished from the mortal realm. This made the Hacking Reaper of the Blood Haze confused as the presence of his perceived most dangerous enemy is suddenly gone without traces just like earlier. The Hacking Reaper of the Blood Haze was searching desperately but he seemed to forget that there were other enemies besides Awraka.

The four other members of the shadow unit moved once more, and they aimed at different parts of the body this time around. One aimed for the neck, another aimed for the chest, the third aimed for the artery on the foot, and the last aimed for the spleen. All of them were efficient and moved without wasting any stance as if they practiced this type of tactic a thousand times already.

The Hacking Reaper of the Blood Haze did not have any problem blocking all of these attacks though as his reflex is as impressive as his instinct to survive. The seer also moved and did not waste her chance and ran towards the energy pool and dove straight in. The Hacking Reaper of the Blood Haze could not stop the seer because a shadowy hand with a golden nail pierced his shoulder this time.
