Chapter 2689: Fallen God Chiyou III

The White Tiger of the West has already been observing the fight earlier and vanished into the ground as soon as it appeared on the battlefield. Unlike the other cardinal divine beasts that helped their allies, the White Tiger of the West only had one thing in its mind and its revenge. It planned to kill the Fallen God Chiyou as soon as it finds the latter. Fortunately for the White Tiger of the West, the Fallen God Chiyou is already embroiled in a battle against a group.

The White Tiger of the West lay in wait as it knew that the Fallen God Chiyou would eventually come crashing to the ground in a weakened state. The White Tiger of the West would often send killing intent to the Fallen God Chiyou in order to confuse it and have the ones attacking the latter to succeed but not everything is easy. The Fallen God Chiyou is more powerful than before and he is also empowered by the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong.

The White Tiger of the West then noticed that the support given by the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong vanished when the demon transformed into the Primordial Divine Beast Sun Wukong. The White Tiger of the West did not know how that demon manage to do such a thing as the Primordial Divine Beast Sun Wukong is no longer of this world but it was a welcomed anomaly.

The Fallen God Chiyou lost the support of the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong and had to rely on his own divine energy to use attacks. The unfortunate thing is that the group attacking the Fallen God Chiyou is almost at their wits end. At the very least, the White Tiger of the West is thankful that they managed to have the Fallen God Chiyou expend more divine energy than usual.

“Even if you all die, I will remember your faces and reward you.” The White Tiger of the West thought as he is about to pounce on the Fallen God Chiyou once the group attacking the latter has been killed.

Just as the White Tiger of the West is about to attack the Fallen God Chiyou, another group arrived and battled with the god of war. The White Tiger of the West remembered this group as they were there when the previous version of it died. The White Tiger of the West could even see that its fangs were fashioned into armguards that the oni is using. The White Tiger of the West is not overcome with rage though as it observed why the disciple is now trying to kill the master.

Fortunately for the the White Tiger of the West, it could easily read some of the memories created by Tai as it is wearing a weapon crafted from the parts of a divine beast. Armors and weapons crafted from divine beasts could transmit emotions or feeling if the divine beast it came from is still alive. The White Tiger of the West managed to learn about the realization of the group that is now before him.

“To think that this kid already knew that he was trained to become a new vessel and not because of a bond of master and disciple. I shall forgive your transgression as long as you deliver your master right into my fangs.” The White Tiger of the West thought as it now waited for Tai to weaken his teacher.

The White Tiger of the West belief in Tai did not disappoint as the oni kid actually managed to control his oni club. An oni that can control their own soul weapon is a force to be reckoned with. The White Tiger of the West now know why the Fallen God Chiyou considered Tai as a new vessel. The White Tiger of the West also believed that his chance is now coming closer than it thinks.

The White Tiger of the West began channeling the power of the earth into his fangs. The pure natural energy of metal surged towards his body without anyone above the ground knowing. The White Tiger of the West pulled every possible powerful metal qi below ground that no minerals will be created in the area for the next five hundred years.

The patience of the White Tiger of the West has finally gained fruit because the Fallen God Chiyou got sent crashing onto the ground. The time that the White Tiger of the West has waited finally came and it will not miss this chance. As soon as the body of the Fallen God Chiyou crashed onto the ground, the White Tiger of the West activated a spell that made the body of its enemy be stuck on the soil itself.

Without even a hint of killing intent which made the Fallen God Chiyou unaware that he has already fallen into a trap. When the Fallen God Chiyou finally noticed what is happening, the fangs of the White Tiger of the West manifested from below the ground. The Fallen God Chiyou is shocked to see a large mouth with large fangs enclosing on him. The Falle God Chiyou tried to use his aura to create a powerful barrier to block the mouth and fangs but his aura barriers shattered in an instant.

The fangs of the White Tiger of the West are considered a powerful anti-magic weapon. It is also the reason why Tai could deflect spells just by using his armguards. The Fallen God Chiyou suddenly found himself in a pitiful state and is about to release more of his divine energy as he finally knew who was lurking around him. The Fallen God Chiyou made his body explode with divine energy but the White Tiger of the West was not having any of it.

Even if his mouth was injured, the White Tiger of the West did not flinch from the pain and bit the Fallen God Chiyou. The fags of the White Tiger of the West pierced through the body of the Fallen God Chiyou as divine blood started flowing from the wounds. The Fallen God Chiyou even lost an entire arm and half his leg.
