Chapter 2726: The Frozen Kingdom Under Siege III

The fight between Brunhild and the God of War Tyr is basically a stalemate. The God of War Tyr was able to make Brunhild detach from her mount which decreased her power quite a bit but the latter was not losing in terms of power. The current Brunhild now only has the power of a demigod while the God of War Tyr has been weakened to have the power of a lesser god when outside of Asgard.

The two initially fought where there were other players but their fight was so devastating that they literally decimate anyone caught in the crossfire. The two beings were made to destroy a vast battlefield as one is a god of war while the other is the leader of the Valkyries. In terms of abilities to fight, the two of them are pretty much equal in that regard as they are not beings that can lose when it comes to any fighting styles.

The God of War Tyr carries a large great sword that rivals his own towering height while Brunhild carries a large halberd that is twice her body size. In terms of reach, Brunhild’s weapon is superior but the God of War Tyr’s weapon is superior in power. The two are also making sure that they are utilizing their weapons to the utmost capacity.

Each swing of the God of War Tyr’s large great sword would even create small shockwaves that would slightly deviate the spear path of Brunhild’s weapon. Even with a large and powerful weapon, the God of War Tyr has yet to land a single powerful hit on his enemy. Brunhild handled her weapon perfectly but also her body as well.

Brunhild might be thicker and more muscular compared to the other Valkyries but she does not have any weaknesses. Her speed, strength, and reflexes are all to the highest degree and she even has some divine artifacts on her body which boost her power even more. This makes up for the fact that she only has the status of a demigod. She could go toe to toe against a god of war that is at the level of a peak lesser god.

Brunhild also looked like she was dancing on the battlefield as she would even use her own weapon as a way to balance herself if the God of War Tyr pushes her back. She would plant her halberd into the ground then circle back while gripping it and then launch herself forward. Brunhild’s actions made sure that the flow of the battle against the God of War Tyr will not shift towards the latter’s favor.

Even the God of War Tyr could feel the pressure of the battle as Brunhild seems to have grown stronger compared to their time. The God of War Tyr did not want to admit it but Brunhild is now slightly above him when it comes to martial prowess. The Valkyrie before him did not go complacent even if she was in the mortal for quite some time.

“I admit. It seems that you have fought foes greater than what we have fought during our time. I always thought that the Valkyries will never surpass the gods but you have gained my respect. Which is why I am no longer holding back and will force myself to use my real strength against you.” The God of War Tyr stated as Brunhild is the first Valkyrie created by the Goddess Freyja after all.

The God of War Tyr suddenly exploded in strength as her power suddenly surge to the strength of a greater god. This sudden burst of strength is normal as the God of War Tyr could regain some of his weakened strength for a limited time. Even the other Aesir Gods could do this but there is always a catch. They will be in a weakened state after an hour as they basically pushed their bodies to the limit that has befallen them.

The God of War Tyr is suddenly enveloped in a red violet aura that even made Brunhild gulp. Brunhild could feel the pressure being emitted by the god of war before him as even the great sword that he carried resonated with his rise in strength. The God of War Tyr suddenly charged forward and his mere step alone created a powerful blast from behind that everything behind him became smoke.

Brunhild immediately activated her divine artifact that is a girdle as she knew that she needed to endure this hit more than ever. She could still follow the God of War Tyr’s movements with her eyes but the power that he released is something that she cannot endure alone with divine artifacts. A loud clash of metals echoed as Brunhild’s spear and the God of War Tyr’s great sword clashed with one another.

The loud clash even created a sonic shockwave that disintegrated the snow around them. Even the players that were thinking of suddenly entering their fight is either heavily injured or dead. The clash of the two continued on and each parry they made would create a sonic shockwave. The heaviness of their weapons created a powerful resonance that there is now only solid ground beneath their feet and in a radius of ten meters with them at the center.

“It seems that your divine artifact has yet to fail you, Brunhild. Still, you are not yet a god! I shall show you the difference between a divine artifact and a true divinity!” The God of War Tyr shouted as his body released a powerful aura that sent Brunhild flying away.

Brunhild did not expect that she would be blown away by the God of War Tyr as she believed that her divine artifact at full capacity would even out the fight. The fact that even with her divine artifact in full activation is not enough meant that she needed other allies. The only problem is that there are no allies around her that could fight against the God of War Tyr with her.
