Chapter 2738: Equinox Vanishes

The sensation was subtle but all of the Daemos felt it as all of them are still connected via the world barrier. One can say that the Daemos know when one of them is dead or lost because of this connection. This is especially stronger if the Daemos is powerful like an Arch Demon as they all felt their connection to Adrian get cut off.

“The brat!” Elder Ascalor shouted as he suddenly released powerful killing intent that actually created a powerful pressure on all of the beings around him. He only stopped when he realized that he was making it difficult for all of the people around him to breathe.

“Ascalor! Equinox!” Elder Koronn shouted as he suddenly appeared in the control room as he instantly returned from his shift of fixing the rifts.

“The kid suddenly got disconnected from our shared link!” Elder Bronx stated as he also came to the control room when he sensed the other elders were there.

“He was in the northern continent as per his last travel coordinates. He said that he would be in the kingdom of the Ice Queen Elona. Is he actually… dead?!” Elder Ascalor stated as he made sure to control his emotions.

“Do not be absurd. The kid cannot die when he is one of the personifications of death itself. He is the ruler of Limbo which makes him immune to true death.” Elder Koronn replied.

“But that does not make him immune if he is erased from existence.” Elder Bronx stated as all three of them suddenly emitted a pressure as they all thought of the same things.

“What are you three brats doing?! Just because all of you have become Noblesse does not mean that you can flaunt it however you want! The territory is still intact which means the boy is still alive somewhere. Find out what happened to him and bring him back immediately!” Old Man Pann shouted as his presence actually cancelled out the pressure emitted by the three.

The three Daemos elders were glad that they have a reliable protector like Old Man Pann with them. They were incredibly worried about Adrian and almost lost it completely. If they suddenly rampaged then even Avalon will not be safe as it would be a place that has messed up time, space, and force.

“Who should go to the north then? I think I should be the one to go as I can easily use the Memory of the World spell. I can be shown what happened to the boy or what sort of scheme he got caught up in.” Elder Koronn asked.

“I should go as I am the best investigator among the three of us.” Elder Ascalor stated as he is a master of space.

“I should go as I can easily sense if anything is amiss from the reverberations. I can easily deduce what happened to the kid.” Elder Bronx stated.

“I think all of you should go or else my ears will bleed out from all of you. If you cannot even decide that then all of you go and return as quick as possible. If all of you three work together then you can easily find out what happened to our troublemaker. I will guard the territory for now and have all the Daemos that are on guard duty to boost up patrols.” Old Man Pann stated with irritation.

“Just say that you are also worried about the brat, old man.” Elder Ascalor stated.

“You can show that you care since the boy is not here.” Elder Ascalor added.

“Aww. You do have a heart somewhere.” Elder Bronx teased.

“JUST GO!” Old Man Pann shouted as he created a rift and pushed all three of the elders into it.

“I have a bad feeling about this. I just hope that it is not something impossible. I hope you are safe you little troublemaker.” Old Man Pann mumbled as he called upon four of his Transcendent tier pets to guard Avalon for the time being. One could say that Avalon is now one of the safest places in all of the central continent for the time being. The only problem is that Old Man Pann would have to give treats to them and pamper them while they are here.

A few seconds after the death of the Great Star Gazer, the Ice Queen Elona suddenly felt her heart break. Her friend that she knew for years have suddenly perished without her even being able to say goodbye. The Ice Queen Elona is suddenly stricken with grief and used the Transcendent spell that she knows that can repel even gods. The Ice Queen Elona erupted in power as she called upon True Ice.

The God of Thunder Thor suddenly felt cold which should not be happening as his body could withstand the coldest of ice and the hottest of fire. For the first time, the God of Thunder Thor actually felt like he would freeze over because of something. He immediately knew that this is coming from the woman before him as she is actually destroying the storm that he created above.

“I have no time for gods such as yourself! Transcendent Spell: Dawn of the Ice Age!” Ice Queen Elona stated as she actually called upon an Ice Elemental King and fused with it.

The Ice Queen Elona suddenly became a large spectral being made of ice and snow. She then called upon the coldest of ice and wind to destroy all of her enemies. The God of Thunder Thor tried to stop her but he could not do so in his weakened state. The God of Thunder Thor could not even get near the Ice Queen Elona as his body would actually freeze over.

“Impossible! I, a god, is being affected by the magic of mortals!” The God of Thunder Thor stated in disbelief but he actually felt fear because he suddenly had a glimpse of him being a frozen popsicle.

“RETREAT!” The God of Thunder Thor shouted as he mustered up all of his power that he released into the sky to bring down the most powerful lightning he can with what he had.

The Asgardians did not believe what came out of the mouth of the God of Thunder Thor because he has never said that before. He is not one to signal a retreat as hem believes that retreat is for those that are weak. The Asgardians did not want to believe what their leader told them but they soon found out why.

The large lightning that should have destroyed the barrier of the kingdom is suddenly touched by the Ice Queen Elona. Lightning that is considered to be incredibly hot actually froze over which made all of those that witness it in disbelief. The Ice Queen Elona did not stop there as she called upon a powerful blizzard that swept across her entire kingdom. All of her enemies that were caught in the blizzard became ice statues in just one second of being touched by the cold mist.

“You will pay for your insolence, god of thunder!” The Ice Queen Elona stated as she held her hands out to grab at the God of Thunder Thor.

The Ice Queen Elona would have grabbed the leg of the God of Thunder Thor but a spear made of earth suddenly hit her hand. The Ice Queen Elona could not believe that a physical thing was able to touch her as she is basically immune to such things in this state. The Ice Queen Elona knew that such a thing should be impossible unless this physical item is blessed or made of elementals.

“The Goddess of Earth Sif. I shall deal with you then.” The Ice Queen Elona stated as she turned her gaze towards the one holding an item that can damage her.

“Retreat, my love!” The God of Thunder Thor shouted and the Goddess of Earth Sif nodded.

The battle between the Goddess of Earth Sif and Brunhild came at the loss of the latter. Brunhild is still alive but she is injured and needed to recuperate. This is also the reason why the Goddess of Earth Sif was able to interject with the approaching death of the God of Thunder Thor. The Goddess of Earth Sif would have escaped easily into the ground if not for a spear suddenly striker her shoulder.

“Argh!” The Goddess of Earth Sif screamed as the Brunhild’s spear prevented her from fully turning into earth and vanishing.

“You shall feel the frost just like them.” The Ice Queen Elona stated as she froze the very ground around her kingdom.

The frozen ground covered at least ten miles with the Ice Queen Elona’s kingdom at the center. This also meant that the Goddess of Earth Sif could no longer escape using the ground. In fact, the legs of the Goddess of Earth Sif that have slightly fused to the ground is now frozen to the point that she could no longer feel it.
