Chapter 1980 Chapter 1972: Outer Domination (1)
Chapter 1980 Chapter 1972: Outer Domination (1)
Digesting the Mote of Heaven, Element gradually entered a hibernation of growth. It would take longer than four hours. As such, Wei Wuyin decided to occupy his time with Tilly yet again. Her joyously sensual voice resounded repeatedly in their spatial bubble.
Outer Stellar Battlefield of Order.
An expansive region littered with abodes, ranging from independent palaces to entire cities, even man-made mountains that housed caves reminiscent of immortal myth, decorated with great scenery unbefitting of a brutal battlefield rife with struggle and death. The truth hidden beneath artificial beauty.
The entire battlefield was luxurious and rich in life. When Wei Wuyin arrived, he immediately felt as if he had arrived at a planet harboring cultivators. The only two distinctions were the faint scent of irremovable blood and the soft winds of deathly wails.
"This is the Outer Battlefield?" Wei Wuyin questioned as Tilly hurriedly corrected her outfit and loose hair, tying it into a quick ponytail as she pursed her lips. She eyed Wei Wuyin suspiciously with envy. Despite ravaging her repeatedly, sending her into a whirlwind of sensual pleasure, the man seemed tireless and impeccably composed, especially since they had two other partners recently.
She eventually swept her gaze across the well-developed zone, nodding her head. "This Outer Battlefield, its zone's access point, is occupied by a galaxy known as the Utmost Purity Galaxy. As such, they primarily have Alchemists. However, their lifestyle is rather...peculiar. Moreover, they are insanely dominant."
"Dominant?" Wei Wuyin was aware that Inner Battlefields were often locked to stellar regions, while Outer Battlefields incorporated galaxies. This was one of the Utmost Purity Galaxy's Outer Battlefield Zones. Due to the extent to which Greater Galaxies grew, often absorbing galaxies as a whole, this was a common occurrence.
Galactic Clusters were originally thousands upon thousands of galaxies clustered together. Cultivators, however, colonized them systematically, causing them to shrink over time. A Mystic Overlord could reliably oversee a galaxy of a small size. It wasn't far off to call high-leveled Mystic Ascendant Realm cultivators god-like entities, given their abilities and power over the Ways of Mysticism.
Meanwhile, the Utmost Purity Galaxy was hundreds of galaxies merged, transformed miraculously into a single galaxy. This was not done senselessly. It was a strategic move to elevate environmental grade and enhance the spatial stability of the galaxy, enhancing its potential for growth and the celestial objects it could contain.
An ordinary galaxy would, without a doubt, be unable to handle a single Dominion. Moreover, the Supreme Sages' surging of their auras could overturn the entirety of the celestial arrangement within a split second. Even their simple act of cultivation, absorbing the essence and energy to refine an iota of Resonant Qi of the Heavens might siphon an ordinary galaxy dry.
As a result of this development and the need for a suitable home, powerful cultivators resorted to improving their galaxy, expanding and merging through unique celestial-formation arts. Some Resonant Soul Realm experts, even Mystic Overlords, created their own Starfields, Stellar Regions, or nascent galaxies within Secret Realms or World Realms. That mysterious woman had, in her rage, obliterated one of these World Realms.
Despite the merging and development, the vast expanse of the Dark Void was unable to be occupied by cultivators, leaving a significant amount of Void-Blank Space between galaxies that required months to years to decades to centuries to millennia to travel between them, depending on cultivation. The void was too big and empty of celestial objects.
As a result of this development, the 3,000 Outer Zones that represented different regions across the world were all occupied by the thirty-three galaxies. In fact, the main reason why the galactic cluster involved all thirty-three galaxies, greater and lesser, largely had to do with the Battlefield's access points! The 3,000 Outer Zones involved every known galaxy within the cluster. While there were far more than 3,000 Outer Stellar Access Formations scattered about, there were only 3,000 Zones.
That was amusing...
"Wait..." Wei Wuyin paused as he observed the Globes of Creation above. They were larger, brighter, but less numerous. From what he understood, the Outer Battlefields rewarded greater War Souls, but the accompanying dangers were elevated as well. The Battlefield's size didn't change.
He looked at Tilly, this Entry Moderator. "What Galaxy do you belong to?" He asked with a strange tone in his voice.
Tilly Winehart answered without hesitation, "I was born here."
"In the Battlefield?" Wei Wuyin was surprised. And seeing the nonchalant energy that Tilly gave him the distinct feeling that it wasn't exactly a secret.
She nodded as she finally tied her hair perfectly taut, stretching her limbs after a successful task performed. "All Moderators, Envoys, and Overseers are born here. That's the prerequisite to wield the formations and arrays here," she explained while verifying their location by glancing at the back of her palm.
Wei Wuyin saw her do this before. Interested, he swept his Spiritual Sense over her hand. "Oh?" He saw runic markings that were rapidly shifting, imbued with traces of Spiritual Divine Mist. As a cultivator who attained the Divine State in not one but five Spirits of Cultivations and possessed the Primordial Divine Mist from Kratos, he was among the few who could perceive divine mist without the Celestial Eyes of Spiritual Divinity.
The runic markings were of an unfamiliar linguistic script. It only took a few moments to translate, tapping into the Magi Royalty Bloodline within him, granting him a peerless understanding of all languages innately. It formed words:
[Location: Selene Realm, Upper Luminescence Zone]
[Entry Requests: Zero]
She lifted her gaze to observe the towers in the distance enveloped by a dim light of cool bluish-silver, "We're in the Upper Luminescent Zone. Those are the Towers of Selene. The Inner and Outer Battlefields aren't too different from each other, but the Chaos Descents are significantly more dangerous, and the accumulation of Creation Value is far more difficult to accrue. The main difference is the grade of opponents."
Wei Wuyin allowed her to do what came naturally: explanations. At the end of it, he inquired, "Why don't Creationists stay in the Lower Zones and Inner Battlefield then? It should be easier to accumulate War Souls." By this point, he was already walking briskly toward the Tower of Selene for this zone.
"Three reasons," she lifted three fingers as she followed along, "One: You can only enter the Battlefield once as a Soldier and as a Commander. Two: When your Merit exceeds a certain point as either, you're given a very limited time frame to either enter the Outer or Nexus Battlefield or be subjected to Expulsion. And lastly, Three: Quality of War Souls."
"Quality?" Wei Wuyin had acquired the vast majority of his War Souls in his previous run from the Nexus Stellar Battlefield. Logically, that was the highest quality of War Souls.
Tilly continued, "There are Gaia, Selene, and Eros qualities for War Souls, and they can have a great impact for cultivation purposes. However, valuation-wise, they're all stellar-grade. But the second reason is why most are forced to enter the Outer Battlefield. While Creation Value is harder to acquire, each point of value is worth at least three times as much as the Inner Battlefields."
"I see," Wei Wuyin accepted that as he looked at the dimly lit Tower of Selene. He arrived at the wall of chaos yet again.
Tilly's heart once again began to beat rapidly. "A-again?" She stuttered.
Wei Wuyin laughed as he placed his hand on the wall, the Identity Rune between his fingers, turning to Tilly, whose eyes were glimmering with expectation despite her stutter. "In my hometown, there was a saying that we used as kids when it came to the Foundation Establishment Realm, where the kids rushed their way through at full speed without stopping, taking shortcuts to achieve the same effects with a tenth of the time. It was mostly reserved for wealthy clan sons and daughters, which, in a way, I was in my city. A little tyrant I was known as."
"Oh?" Tilly's eyes brightened even greater than before.
"We called it 'Speedrunning', you see! Haha! And that's what I'm planning to do."
"Speedrun the Battlefield?" Her breath became increasingly intense by the second.
"Hahaha! I DECLARE A WAR OF CREATION! ON EVERY OTHER ZONE!!!"
