Chapter 1117: Kent’s Plan for the Alliance
Chapter 1117: Kent’s Plan for the Alliance
“Looks like you are much more punctual than most people,” Kent spoke, seeing Lord Munny already at the peak of the mountain waiting for him.
The golden-skinned man smiled and answered, “I have already seen what you can do, so being punctual is my way of making my stance very clear.”
Kent smiled, “I like it when people see what they want and go for it. Makes them more likable and easy to work with.”
Obviously, the golden-faced man was now more than ready to toil just to become powerful. The primary reason most people in medium worlds dislike ascending is due to their perceived strength and potential.
In most high worlds, the strongest and most brilliant from a medium world can become the weakest there. Kent had been there and saw firsthand the gap in strength and potential.
Only a few monsters from the medium worlds have ever made it to the high worlds.
Due to this, Lord Munny and many are determined to become somebody when they ascend. Of course, it isn’t only about strength and potential that makes them eager to ascend; there is also the situation of wealth.
In essence, most fail in high worlds due to their low wealth. The richest from medium worlds can easily become the poorest in a high world.
The difference in spirit stones is rather huge. One hundred medium-grade spirit stones are equivalent to one high-grade spirit stone. So the medium-grade spirit stones are practically useless there.
However, if one becomes strong here, they can utilize their strength to make a living in the high worlds.
“So, what do you think?” Kent asked Lord Munny.
“I have decided to follow your arrangement if it means me becoming strong enough to survive the high worlds.”
“Don’t worry, I will make sure you do more than survive. If you follow my arrangement to the dot, then making it big in high worlds will become the least of your problems once you ascend.”
Lord Munny nodded with a sigh, “In that case, I am ready to follow your arrangements.” A man who knows what he wants and goes for it is a man who would never fail, regardless of the situation.
Kent sighed in his heart and then went ahead and narrated his plan for Lord Munny and the whole of the Celestial Ascendence Planetary Alliance.
Kent’s plan was simple.
He would make the Half-Elves on the planet Sonox his main powerhouse. He would build many Ascension platforms there and fortify the city, making it nearly impossible to attack.
Then, under his command, there would be a Dragon Guardian. This Dragon Guardian could only be from the Half-Elves race. However, thanks to the tower creating a binding contract, every last Dragon Guardian could not betray the alliance.
They would be Kent’s right-hand men or women who would have access to the Tower.
Every one thousand years, he would come for resources by entering the Tower thanks to an item Gaia would create. They would be responsible for distributing resources in a fair and just manner.
This Dragon Guardian would work for 10,000 years before they could ascend.
However, under them, there would be System Guardians, Planetary Guardians, and Sector Guardians.
Lord Munny will be the System Guardian. He will work directly under the Dragon Guardian, and he will also have access to the Tower. However, he can only come when Kent wills it.
His job will be to ensure the planetary system expands and grows stronger. He will ensure that one day, the planetary system becomes a star system.
Of course, he will have the chance to ascend, but only after 5,000 years have passed. Once he ascends, the Dragon Guardian will appoint a new System Guardian.
Then come the Planetary Guardians, who would work directly under the System Guardian. Their job is to ensure the planets in the planetary system are protected and taken care of.
They will receive resources from the System Guardian and use them to better their planets.
The Sector Guardians, however, will be unknown individuals selected by the Dragon Guardian to monitor other planetary systems and report on which worlds can be easily pulled and which systems they can easily swallow.
In essence, Kent had plans to expand this planetary system, so he left a detailed plan that all those who would fill this role would use.
Of course, he wouldn’t ask anyone to swear, but he knew for a fact that none would misbehave since the tower and Vexthra would ensure that.
If he was going to spend his wealth to make planets grow, then he might as well make sure his investment was protected.
“That is the plan, so what do you think?”
Lord Munny took a moment to gather his thoughts. This was his first time hearing such a meticulously crafted plan that sought to ensure a whole planetary system grew and became much stronger.
If possible, he would need a few minutes to digest everything. However, he already knew, regardless of how much he thought, at the end of the day, he wanted to grow stronger, and so he could only become the System Guardian.
“I think it is an excellent plan. And I, for one, would love to work hard to grow and also ensure your dream is managed.”
“Wonderful,” Kent smiled and then added, still with a smile on his lips, “By the time you are done with your commitment, I will make sure you have broken 20 limits, awakened at least three innate talents, and learned not less than five divine-grade skills.
There is also a large sum of money attached so that when you ascend, life wouldn’t be unbearable for you.”
Lord Munny smiled at Kent’s words.
He indeed was looking forward to all these goodies. If only he knew Kent was already planning to give him more than he could carry.
This person would be working for him for the next 5,000 years. Although it sounds like a long time, to someone like Lord Munny, 5,000 years could also be equivalent to 50,000 years.
It would pass in the blink of an eye for him, so he was more than eager to see what destiny had in store for him. Kent would ensure he had it big when he is done with his role as the System Guardian.
He was going to the high worlds, so he would surely make sure all who ascended under his command didn’t face much difficulty there.
This was the best he could do for people who would work for his gain. He had no plans to use them, only to discard them and move on to the next.
They would work, and he would reward them for their hard work.
Kent retrieved a storage pouch and handed it over to Lord Munny. “Use it to start your training. In a month’s time, come to Sonox and meet the Dragon Guardian. She will have the next phase of the plans waiting for you.”
Lord Munny received the pouch with a nod.
Kent planned to ascend soon, so by the time he came back, he would be gone. However, with the Tower, he could very easily come back and have a meeting with them.
After he and Lord Munny parted, Kent teleported back to the Tower and started spending time with his wives.
Before he ascended, he had to ensure they were satisfied…
