Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 1375 Sword Genius

Chapter 1375  Sword Genius

The question hung in the air for a few minutes before Jest nodded in response.

“Indeed. Since there are no paths leading to the peak, I decided to create my own.”

His answer stunned everyone, leaving many wondering if they had heard right. What Jest had just said is basically impossible.

It was said that during the primordial Era, many powerful swordsmen rose to prominence. However, the highest they could go was the Sword Supreme stage. This was due to so many factors.

One of said factors is their inability to comprehend the Dao of the sword in their own understanding.

To take the final step, one must become one with the sword. There are many factors that go into becoming one with the sword. However, the main thing is the ability to comprehend the Dao of the sword.

By walking an already threaded path, it becomes impossible to reach that stage. Of course, they also said that at the peak, one can go around this process by making the path their own. However, nobody since the primordial Era had been able to achieve that.

So in that context, one can walk the path others had already threaded, and then when they get to the sword supreme stage, they find ways to make it their own.

However, many had tried and proven to be false, so that idea was scrapped.

There are other theories that there are many other ways to the peak. However, in the end, following an already threaded path can take one as far as the Sword Supreme stage.

Many years ago, everyone came to that conclusion.

However, what if one is to walk their own path? What if the path never threaded is the path to the peak? What if, against all odds, one can only believe in themselves and do it?

Many tried, and the highest they ever reached was the Sword Saint stage. Many tried to walk their own path, but they couldn’t even get past the Sword Saint stage.

But here is Jest, walking his own path, and he had already reached the Sword King stage.

That is a universe-altering reveal, and its impact could already be felt within the sect.

“You are kidding, right?” the Ten-Star Sword God asked, his gaze narrowing.

“I don’t believe I will joke about something like this. I am indeed walking my own path. It took me a couple of years, but I have made some progress, and I believe after today, I will make more progress.”

“May I ask how long you have been walking your own path?”

“Considering I had been imprisoned for years and chased around by a crazy bitch for a couple more years, I say this is roughly 400 years since I started walking my own path.”

“And you are already a Sword King?” The Ten-Star Sword God’s eyes widened, and so did everyone’s.

Jest laughed and said, “The plan is to make sure at the end of the day, I make it to the peak, so wasting time is not an option. It was also why I ascended from the mortal realm to the immortal realm. I came to make sure I meet people like you who would enlighten me.

There is a chance I might fail. But there is a big chance I will succeed. If I did, then there is a high chance more swordsmen would follow, because my reaching the peak is a good thing.

I can share my knowledge with the rest of the universe, and perhaps many would be able to reach my level one day.”

The Ten-Star Sword God smiled. “You sure know how to talk big, Kid. Do you know how many great swordsmen have tried, but failed? Also, do you really think reaching the peak is a joke… talk about sharing knowledge.”

Jest shook his head. “A swordsman who doesn’t share knowledge, in my eyes, is a selfish person. Adrian allowed me to learn his sword realm, knowing full well I could easily use it against him.

However, he allowed me to learn because he has integrity as a swordsman. So if one day I were to make it to the peak, allowing others to know the way is something I shouldn’t be forced to even do.

I am learning from others, so others should also learn from me.”

The Ten-Star Sword God stood there for a full five minutes, his mind spinning. He may be just a remnant of his glorious self, but what Jest had said struck a chord in his heart, making him think of many things.

Outside the Sword Bridge, the disciples and the elders of the sect were all thinking of what Jest had said. They all knew how hard it was to even walk an already-threaded path. So if what Jest was saying is true, then someone like him should be treasured and protected.

There was so much left to learn, and if a brave kid like him had such a mindset, then there was no telling just what he would be able to accomplish in the future.

“You know, many would not take you seriously if they learn you are walking your own path. However, to think you have already become a Sword King, I am inclined to believe you have some talent in you.

So I will make you a deal.”

Jest nodded. “I am listening.”

“I will teach you my sword realm, or more like display it for as many times as you want, until you can comprehend it. One day, if you reach the peak, I want you to become my master and teach me the way, too.

I know you want to share the knowledge with everyone. But being the disciple of the first Sword Celestial ever is different from hearing what he has to say to everyone.

So do we have a deal?”

“Of course. And to make it so, you know I wouldn’t go back on my words, I swear on the Sword Dao that if I go back on my words after I reach the peak, may my sword heart be destroyed.”

The Ten-Star Sword God smiled, already gambling on something he knew could be his downfall. Jest would know all about his sword realm, as he did with Adrian and the other levels he challenged.

To create his own sword realm, he must first learn from others. It wouldn’t be like copying them. To him, it was more like understanding the various natures of swordsmanship and creating something new from them.

So if he were to learn from the Ten-Star Sword God, then there was a chance he would be getting closer to forming his own sword realm. The moment he did, he would become a Sword Emperor.

“Not many are brave like you, kid. I chose to walk a primitive path because I was afraid of failing. I had the chance to start over and walk my own path, but I didn’t. So don’t be like me or anyone else.

Be yourself, and one day, when you reach the peak, maybe you can inspire all of us to strive for success. We should strive for the absolute peak too.”

“Thanks for the advice, senior.”

“You can just call me Colins. I will be looking forward to the day you become a Sword God. Maybe then, you can fight me on equal footing.”

“I look forward to that day too.”

“Good. Now, be ready, I will start demonstrating my sword realm. Be sure to appreciate its beauty and strength.”

Jest smiled and nodded.
