Chapter 914: The Apocalypse (18) [Bonus]
Chapter 914: The Apocalypse (18) [Bonus]
“What in the hell?” one Spirit Emperor who had just arrived on the battlefield muttered, looking at the thousands of his kind killing each other.
“What kind of madness is this?”
They just didn’t understand what was happening. However, when the first Blood-Cursed Forsaken charged at them, they all charged forward.
Behind them, 10,000 Spirit Monarchs, 5,000 Spirit Sovereigns, and 1,000 Spirit Lords also appeared, showing that the Forsaken race meant business this time around.
They had sent out all their warriors, including five Heavenly Ascension stage warriors, leaving only five Heavenly Ascension stage warriors in their world. They were waiting for the one they called their Lord.
But on the battlefield, the moment every last Forsaken warrior appeared, Kaizo looked at Camilla and nodded. “Time for you to do your thing.”
Camilla nodded and flew into the air. She threw a spear into the sky and made it float. Then she formed a hand seal, and from within the spear, an ethereal figure appeared, towering over Camilla.
Looking at her appearance, one could say she resembled Camilla almost exactly.
She took hold of the spear, which expanded several times until its shadow covered a large part of the battlefield.
“Spear Manifestation: Collapsing Thrust!”
The towering figure behind Camilla stabbed the spear at the thousands of Forsaken warriors, causing a collapsing force to shoot out at the approaching enemies.
The spear and the pressure behind it landed hard on the ground, and in that very moment, a red light flashed through the air.
Just the thrust from the spear alone was enough to kill a thousand. However, using the chaos that followed, Neomi moved and made sure she was within the midst of the disoriented Forsaken warriors before she clapped her hands and vanished into the ground.
From where she vanished, a pool of dark water appeared and immediately spread throughout a major part of the battlefield.
“Hands of the Fallen… Pull!”
Neomi appeared far from where she had vanished with a pale face.
However, the Forsaken warriors who weren’t quick enough felt powerful hands grab onto their legs, and with one swift pull, they vanished into the dark water, never to be seen again.
Neomi moved back, catching her breath.
The skill Camilla used was powerful, but it wasn’t among her trump cards. In fact, it was merely something she and her weapon spirit came up with when she was unconscious months back.
However, the one Neomi used was one of her two trump cards.
It wasn’t a skill she could use in close combat. But the ’Hands of the Fallen’ skill is deadly in large battles.
The black water that appeared naturally contained death qi. But that wasn’t all. It also carried the resentment of all the people she had killed.
And the best part was that the strength of all she had killed was merged into one entity, making it several times deadly. This was even the reason why some Spirit Lords had fallen prey to her skill.
But that also meant she wouldn’t be able to join the battle anytime soon.
However, all this was within Kaizo’s calculations.
“Camilla, do it again and make it go boom this time.”
Camilla nodded and raised her spear up. The lady who had manifested behind her was gone now. However, the moment she raised her spear, an oppressive force came down from the clouds, forcing the Forsaken warriors to turn pale.
Camilla also turned pale, for she had unleashed one of her three trump cards, draining a large chunk of her energy.
Lightning flashed across the sky as a large blue ring, and a giant hand inside appeared slowly. At one glance, one might think an immortal had arrived on the battlefield, for the aura coming from it was too great.
“Forsaken Formation!” The Spirit Lords immediately formed hand seals and raised their fingers up. However, the formation they manifested crashed the next second when the ring started spinning.
“Move back, everyone,” Kaizo commanded, and all warriors, including the vampires, moved back.
“Seven Elemental Spinning Disc!”
Camilla formed a hand seal and made her spear fly up and enter the spinning disc. The moment it did, the edges of the spinning disc manifested thousands of pointed spears, causing the spinning to intensify.
This gesture drained her even more.
“Cut through!” With a weak gesture, the spinning disc moved, and the Forsaken warriors began screaming.
Be it the new arrivals, the old ones, or the blood-cursed ones, the spinning disc shredded through them, their blood-soaked screams erupting from their souls.
Camilla, just like Neomi, also vanished into the tower.
Next to move was Ingrid.
Kaizo’s plan was simple. Since they couldn’t fight the Forsaken Clan head-on anymore, they would thin down their numbers by using their trump cards and hope things worked out in the end.
Ingrid floated just 300 meters away from the Forsaken warriors and clapped her palms together. Then her eyes turned dark, almost as if she could see through the void.
Naturally, she could see through the void.
She slowly began to open her palm, causing a small black dot to appear between the palms that were opening.
“Are we safe?” Kaizo asked, looking at the Forsaken warriors who were charging toward Ingrid. He didn’t panic, for he knew this was exactly what Ingrid was after.
Instinctively, he took a few steps back just in case.
One of the Spirit Lords got close and stabbed his sword forward. However, just when his sword’s cold edge could touch Ingrid, she vanished, and in her place, the black dot she was holding appeared.
Then a voice came from the void, filling the entire space…
“Void Swallow!”
The small black dot instantly expanded and exuded a powerful suction force, swallowing everything within a 4km radius. Naturally, that was a lot of Forsaken warriors.
The dot then shrank again, and Ingrid, with a pale face, appeared. She took hold of it and shattered it in a firm grip. From all over the battlefield, the void started tearing open, throwing out dead bodies.
When the last corpse fell, the Forsaken warriors realised they weren’t fighting an equal battle. Fear gripped them.
But before they could process what was happening, a sweet yet dangerous voice entered their heads.
“Blossom, draw the lines. Feisty, augment me.”
Unity rose into the air, causing the atmosphere around her to shift dangerously. Inside the painting, Blossom moved back and drew five lines, each merging at one end.
“Form,” her sweet voice echoed from within the painting as the lines moved and merged with the five Heavenly Ascension stage experts trapped inside.
Feisty, on the other hand, merged with Unity’s body, causing her energy to rise severalfold. Then she moved and entered the painting.
Inside the painting, Unity appeared in a real place, though on the outside, she looked as though she was painted into the painting
“Time for you to die.” Perhaps it was a coincidence, but the words she spoke in the painting echoed to the outside, causing every last Forsaken warrior to pale.
Then it happened.
The lines that Blossom drew and linked to the five Forsaken Elders formed a bullseye, and that was where Unity aimed.
“This is going to hurt,” Blossom muttered.
“Soul Extinguishing Arrow!”
The arrow flew and landed dead centre in the bullseye. For a moment, nothing happened. But then Unity coughed up blood and turned pale.
Blossom and Feisty also flickered and then vanished.
The painting unravelled, and six figures fell from the air.
