She knew helping Kent would earn her some brownie points.

After all, their first meeting wasn’t exactly ideal.

So this is her chance to atone for her sins.

Thankfully, although Sylvara knew something about Primordial Flames, she chose to let the Lotus Empress have her moment.

Kent had already said this is now one big family, and as such, she knew she and Zeraphine would be fighting on the same side, so becoming friends was the best move now.

She is a valuable asset, and, as someone who wants to ensure her man has all he needs, Sylvara chose to be the bigger person and let Zeraphine win Kent’s trust, cementing her position as the spy in their family.

“Primordial Flames are the True Flames of existence,” Zeraphine began. “It is said that when the universe was created, they came with it.

Of course, you already know we have four other flames, namely Elemental Flame, like my Violet Lotus Flame.” She lit her flame, showing it to Kent. He was already aware of this since Sylvara had already shown him hers.

“The second being Soul Flames. These flames are, in a way, Elemental Flames, so in most cases, we combine the two and call it Elemental Soul Flame.

The third being the Flame Spirits, which, at a fundamental level, can be called Living Flames. Of course, if a flame, regardless of its nature, had lived for long, it could gain sentience and become a living flame.

However, we both know the easiest way to attain flame is to absorb a flame spirit. The moment one absorbs a flame spirit, they can no longer increase in tiers. Unless, of course, they get a much higher-tier flame spirit and absorb that too.

However, as for the fourth flame, many say it exists, but I have never seen it before.

Of course, from what I know, there are only nine of them. They are called the Nine Nirvana Flames.”

Kent and Sylvara smiled, causing Zeraphine to wonder just what the two were smiling about.

However, she chose not to say anything and instead focused on her work, which involved informing Kent of everything there was to know about the Primordial Flame.

“As for the Primordial Flames, they are said to have given birth to the Elemental Flames, Soul Flames, and Flame Spirits, meaning absorbing them will not only strengthen these three flames but will also evolve them into a stronger form, which, from what I know, will enable one to own a Primordial Flame.

This means absorbing it into your Soul Flames turns it into Primordial Soul Flame.

Of course, you can choose to absorb it as a new flame, which, from what I know, requires one to have the foundation to absorb a second flame.”

“How about absorbing it into Nirvana Flames?” Kent asked, and Zeraphine smiled.

“Unfortunately, I don’t know that. However, know that Nirvana Flames can’t be tampered with, so adding a Primordial Flame might be a disaster.”

Zeraphine paused and asked, “Does Lord Kent have Nirvana Flames?”

“My answer will depend on what you can tell me about the Primordial Flames. I believe you still haven’t said everything.”

“Indeed,” Zeraphine didn’t even hide anything. However, because of the connection between them, Kent knew she was holding something back.

“Primordial Flames come in many forms. Some come as beasts, some as humans, some as weapons. There are some that even come as an entire planet.

However, from what I know of the Pill Ascension Realm, most of these Primordial Spirits are dormant, meaning they pose no threat.

However, they are guarded by powerful beasts that even we monarchs can’t confidently say we will be able to contend with.

However, these flames are the easiest to get since killing the beast guardian will be enough to take them, and absorbing them is also simple since they are dormant.

However, most dormant Primordial Flames are only low-grade.”

“How many grades do we have?” Kent asked.

“There are five grades, or at least that is what I know. We have: Low, Medium, High, Supreme, and Celestial.”

“I see.” Kent processed the information he had just received, and a look of determination appeared on his face.

’If I form my core using even a sliver of Primordial Flame, then who knows what will become of my flame core.’

Kent felt his Nirvana Flames grow excited when he thought of this.

’I have made up my mind. I will add a Primordial Flame to the core formation process. Hopefully, I don’t explode from the sheer power I will be loading into my core.’

“Lord Kent should know that even a low-grade Primordial Flame can cause an entire planet to chase after you, so for your safety, allow us to accompany you.”

“No need to sugarcoat it, Zeraphine. Naturally, I plan on taking you all along. If you can obtain a Primordial Flame, then I believe your strength will skyrocket.”

Zeraphine smiled, wearing a guilty expression. However, hearing Kent’s words, she became extremely happy. Even Sylvara, Orvath, and Kaelith were the same.

Kent then asked a new question.

“Aside from the Flame Sea, are there other places with beasts that I can go hunting?” Although Kent could go ahead and hunt the beasts in the Flame Sea, he knew they were subordinates of his newly tamed beasts, so he wouldn’t do that.

This meant the next best option was to find a new place for hunting.

“There is indeed a place which, from what I know, even rivals this place,” Zeraphine said. “It is called Savage Region. It is smaller than this place, but it has some of the savage beasts out there.

There are no regions there, so once you enter, you will be surrounded on all sides.”

Zeraphine sighed, turning toward Sylvara, who nodded toward her. “Tell him.”

“Also, there is an existence hidden in the Savage Region that even we wouldn’t dare offend. To tell you the truth, the most dangerous place is the Savage Region, not the Flame Sea.

Every last beast there is a danger that I wouldn’t recommend you to hunt.”

“Sounds like the perfect place to form my core gate.” Kent smiled, causing his new subordinates to shake their heads, feeling like their new boss was about to put them in danger.

However, Kent’s next words wiped away their worry and replaced it with a new concern: worrying about him.

“I plan on going there alone, so don’t worry about facing dangers beyond you.”

“I will go with you whether you like it or not,” Sylvara said, holding his hand against her chest.

Kent just smiled but said nothing. He knew that with the Pill Ascension secret now in his grasp, completing the quest of killing the Planet King would be easy enough.

’I really hope there are more Primordial Flames for all 50 beasts I will be taming, and even some for Lilian, who is waiting for me back in the future.’
