Raising My Children With My Personal Spatial Ability

Chapter 2261: Truly Incomprehensible

Chapter 2261: Chapter 2261: Truly Incomprehensible

He also knows it’s been a busy few days, leaving no time to sit down for a meal. Yuu Rong scolded him more than once because of it.

But as the date to confront the Evil Spirit Universe in the Blue Sun Space draws closer, even though the High Priest Demon Heart and Master Qian have told him not to rush it—

he still wishes to lend them a hand. It’s not right to hold them back, is it?

“Let’s go. We’ll go find your mother.”

Holding the little baby, he strode forward.

Meanwhile, An Jiuyue had just finished preparing noodles in the kitchen. She placed three bowls in front of her and carried them out on a tray.

By chance, she bumped into Leng Yikun, who was coming over with the little baby in his arms.

“Forgetting yourself in all the busyness?”

Noticing Leng Yikun had grown visibly thinner in just a few short days, An Jiuyue raised an eyebrow and asked.

“Uh.”

Leng Yikun was caught off guard.

It’s not that he forgot about himself entirely, but sometimes, when engrossed in studying the cultivation technique manuals, he just couldn’t stop. Meals would inadvertently be skipped.

Actually, it wasn’t that many meals that he’d missed.

To be honest, he couldn’t quite understand how he’d lost so much weight. Not only did the High Priest Demon Heart and Yuu Rong notice, but even Little Nuonuo had picked up on it instantly.

“High Priest, I—”

“Eat first, no matter how important the matter. It can wait until you’ve had your meal. Nuonuo, are you hungry?” An Jiuyue interrupted him, directing the question to her son.

“Hungry. Nuonuo is very hungry.”

The little baby patted his own belly with his small hands and replied.

He truly was starving. His uncle had saved two meat buns for him, but he hadn’t eaten them. He was waiting for his mother to cook the noodles.

“The weather’s nice; let’s eat in the courtyard.”

An Jiuyue led the way to the yard, carrying the tray, as Leng Yikun followed closely, still holding the little baby.

“Mom, it smells so good.”

The little baby stared at the bowl of noodles set before him. Meat, vegetables, and several different toppings adorned the bowl, prompting him to swallow hard.

Sure enough, even something as simple as noodles made by his mother was the absolute best. The past few days of eating dishes cooked by Uncle Yuu Rong had left him thoroughly unimpressed.

With that thought, he sneaked a glance at Uncle Yikun.

No wonder Uncle Yikun looked thinner. If Uncle Yuu Rong’s meals didn’t appeal to him, how could they possibly satisfy Uncle Yikun?

“Smells good, doesn’t it? Here are your chopsticks. Eat slowly; it’s still hot.” An Jiuyue handed the chopsticks to the little baby and reminded him.

“Got it, Mom. Nuonuo knows. Nuonuo will eat carefully, little by little, and won’t burn himself.” The little baby was careful about that. There was no way he’d burn himself—naturally not.

Seeing the little baby start eating, An Jiuyue gestured for Leng Yikun to sit down as well. “Talk while you eat.”

“Oh.”

Leng Yikun sat down, grabbed the chopsticks, and took a bite of the noodles.

Though Yuu Rong was very considerate towards him, and he shouldn’t express ingratitude by criticizing Yuu Rong, he had to admit—Yuu Rong’s cooking truly wasn’t great.

Even though he was recuperating, he had grown up accustomed to the finest luxuries. Coarse food was difficult for him to stomach.

During his time traveling across the planes alongside High Priest Demon Heart and the others, he had never eaten Yuu Rong’s cooking. But he understood it wasn’t entirely Yuu Rong’s fault; after all, Yuu Rong himself came from a similarly privileged background.

“High Priest, I’ve been studying the cultivation technique manual for a few days. I’ve managed to understand the first six pages, but the ones after that… I simply can’t figure them out.”

After taking another bite of noodles, he finally spoke to An Jiuyue while pulling out the cultivation technique manual from his arms. He wanted An Jiuyue to take a look and help figure out what the problem was.
