"If you and this Mr. Gao are friends, you can chat with him. I’m fine by myself," Kevin said warmly, seemingly unfazed by Gao Wei’s earlier rudeness.

"Hey, man, you’re quite understanding." Gao Wei grinned and reached out to pull Du Jinruo.

Du Jinruo was both anxious and angry. She immediately swatted his hand away, then stepped closer to Kevin, "No need, how could I leave you alone? Come on, let’s go upstairs and sit."

As she spoke, Du Jinruo moved to hook Kevin’s arm.
